The hummus was good but not outstanding, the restaurant itself was not really cozy

If you want a traditional falafel or Hummus experience this is the place to come . Limited menu but everything is excellent. I was in Tel Aviv for a week, and I went twice! We ordered too much hummus, so my word if caution is to remember that it's large portions - but everything delicious.

it was a great hummus years ago but today do yourself a favor and dont eat that hummus. the beans are not soft and the hummus is tasteless. this is a very bad hummus.

Definitely the best hummus in town. The service is super friendly and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. I will definitely recommend for all the hummus loveres to try out this place.

Used to be my favorite when I used to live in Israel. Now I don’t live here more than 10 years and every time I come for visit I must have this hummus. Same good as it was 20-30 years ago. Staff very friendly and very quick service. 5 starts easy

This place is one of the oldest hummus restaurants in Tel-Aviv. The hummus is good, well above the average taste you'll find in most other hummus places in the city, with satisfying portion sizes. You're definitely getting your money's worth here, though finding parking nearby, especially during the night is almost impossible, with public transportation being a better method of visiting this place. Ashkara is open till the little hours of the night, so it offers a good place to have a meal if you're a night owl. Be advised, though, that the place is Kosher, and therefore not open on Fridays and Saturdays.

I have been living in israel 🇮🇱 for the last year after having made aliyah from Sydney Australia. Hummus ashkera is like my second home. The staff, the food and the just everything has made my stay here in israel so much more amazing. Please come and eat here, best hummus in town!

The best hummus in the Old North. Maybe in Tel-Aviv. Pickles are made in house. Perfect balance of flavor. Gorgeous pitas, sauces, and radishes are served alongside the onion! It's just the best. That's all there is to it. Open till 2 am
