My expectations for a beachfront cafe aren’t that high. I sit here because I get music, lounge chairs, cold drinks and some decent food. There is one hell of an amazing view as well. For that it’s perfect. Keep in mind that normally getting an umbrella and chairs at the beach costs money, here that’s free. Don’t come here looking for gourmet restaurant or great service and your expectations will be met.

Setting: March, 3pm on a Thursday. Food: When one puts nachos on the menu, that should conjure a beautiful mental image of melted cheese on a beautiful plate of chips (preferably homemade, they aren't that hard), with maybe some of the vegetable toppings you'll find in the most basic restaurant anywhere. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. From my picture they served me chips that were the cheap Israeli version of Doritos with some (disgusting) guacamole, and salsa on the side. It comes off as lazy. Service: The server didn't really come that often, and it was hard to get her attention. When we tried to send the lazy nachos back, she told me she had to get the manager. This took another 20 minutes. When I said I just wanted them canceled and some olives, it took another 20 minutes for OLIVES. With the tip, we paid in card and were going to tip in cash. When we told her not to add anything on the bill she got upset and made a remark to the effect, "Is that all?". I am a great tipper, I was literally inclined to tip less once she said this. I believe servers are way underpaid, and tip should always be customary, but this was uncalled for. But the beer and the beach were good! The only reason they get one star is that the atmosphere is good and the beer is tasty. Other than that they suck.

Where do I start is the real question. I guess I'll begin with the overpriced food and multiple menus (one that charges significantly more if you speak English, the other that offers a discounted rate for speaking Hebrew). If you like waiting over 30 minutes for a salad that has so much dressing, it wilts the lettuce and a bathroom that is so disgusting I can't even begin to describe it on Google, then this is your place.

Too bad this place has to run on our beautiful beach front. With rude waiters and long waiting times. I won’t come back. Getting my 2 stars as after demanding some service, we got a sweet waitress that tried her best.

The service is very bad - we were waiting more than half an hour to get a tasteless coffee, the water we ordered never arrived and then waited another 40 min to get the bill. The waiter was super unfriendly, he didn’t want to show us the bill not even after we requested it, he told us it’s 64 Shekel (for 3 coffee???) and took the money to his own pocket. So he’s practically stealing?? The prices are crazy high even for Tel Aviv (קפה קר 22 ₪) There are many beach bars, but this is really the worst. 😫👎🏽 would give 0 stars if possible.

What a wonderful bar right on the beach. Tasty drinks with your feet in the sand and sound of the sea. We also got a very friendly and attentive service. Food was good too! Cannot wait to go back!

Very well executed idea of a beach restaurant (lots of tables on the sand with sun umbrellas and all that sort of stuff), friendly waitresses and very tasty food and drinks. My wife and I ordered Chicken breast in curry, Baked salmon, a cocktail and beer. We liked everything of this. There are two disadvantages for me personally: One is that the portion does not match the price. Either the portion should be larger(or have some sort of addition like salad or bread), or the prices should be lower, otherwise it was expensive. Secondly, as in some other places I’ve met here such thing as “Well, we’d like a bigger tip than you’re offering us”. In this particular place it took the form of “Usually we receive 12% because we work on the beach”. I agreed only because I generally liked the place atmosphere and it was tasty food, but this moment was not pleasant and we are unlikely to return here.

This beachside cafe also has a walkup takeout counter with reasonable prices (see photos). The seating are either at tables on the walkway or on lounge chairs on the sand. Umbrellas are positioned throughout. Most staff members seem to be seasonal employees and are a bit amateurish. For some reason we were only given menus in French. We were asked to pay cash claiming that their credit card terminal was not working although a table next to us paid with a credit card.

It’s expensive (over $100 for 3 drinks and one grilled cheese sandwich), which is the only reason for my 3 star review. (I went back and forth whether to give 3 or 4.) The service was friendly, and the food was ok, but not spectacular. Overall, if you can afford it, it’s a nice place to park your group for a few hours at the beach.

We had a bite here after sunbathing. The tuna was delicious, french fries very fresh. Service was actually friendly. But best thing was the music - relaxed electro, fit perfectly to the setting.

Probably the rudest waiters ever. We Waited 20 minutes for our drinks and tipped well. Even after tipping the waiter said is that all? Very disappointing.

Usually we don't eat on the beach restaurants. Usually the food us not as the one served in traditional ones. We decided to try this one out and the breakfast was rich and tasty. I recommend.

We had an awful experience in this place with a friend of mine, the service was really bad and the waiter shouted on us because we didn’t want to give him a tip. We were going to have a drink and a fast snack in this “restaurant” and wanted to seat at the table, not in the sand. The waiter said that this place is for people who is ordering food and we “can’t occupy it because we ordered just watermelon and coffee” which was not really nice because the place was empty and we said that we are here only for 20 mins. We changed the table. After we asked for a bill, the waiter twice asked us how much money we are going to give him in a really persistently way. We didn’t want to do it , but after his “request” were 100% sure that we are not going to leave him a tip. When we were leaving the place he ran after us screaming that we haven’t leaved him a tip, we explained him why, but he started to shout that we awful people and continued to insult us. I asked to call a manager and he said “go found him somewhere there”. I talked with a girl who said that she is the manager of the place but I’m almost sure that she isn’t, she behaved not like the administrator of the restaurant saying that “it’s his only money, yes, probably it’s your choice to give tip or not, but...” No apologies for his behavior, nothing... To the owner of the place, pay normal salary to your staff and educate them how to treat guests in the restaurant. We are not recommending this place!

Fantastic place! A beach club like from the movies. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly people. When you are in Tel Aviv you have to go there. It is much better than la Mer, at la Mer the waiters are terrible.

We were very surprised by that restaurant , expecting mediocrity as in most beachfront venues. But, all was amazingly great - the food (we ordered 4 different dishes), the service and of course the atmosphere. A definite must

Nice place to chill and enjoy the beach. Max is a great server and has taken good care of us every time we’ve come. Someone give this man a raise!

Great spot and good vibe but the service was shocking. We had to literally hunt down a waiter to make an order who seemed to be ignoring our area then it took 30+ mins just to bring two beers. Then at the end the waiter started an argument because he wasn't getting a high enough tip. Even though it was appalling service he browbeat us into agreeing to 15% rather than the 10% we were going to pay. Its a shame because the place has potential but the service really ruined our experience!

I have to say it’s a place with a very good food and even better service, I’m sure I will come back. Ask for the waiter Ido :) he gave me a wonderful service !

Nice atmosphere and setting on the beach, but that's all. Besides that overpriced watery drinks and as we complained about that, the waiter told us that fixing would cost extra. Food mixed at best, we had the nachos. And beware: They expect 15% extra service charge. When you want to give less (as their service gives every reason to) they start to argue. All in all: Get only bottled drinks if you're willing to enjoy the nice atmosphere there.

Two parents, two young girls for diner on the beach. We ordered nothing special and only one desert and still ended up paying 170€ (Service included). The food was simple, uneven, and mostly not very good (like tasteless Israeli salad, bad Humus and cold pitas), but at least the fries were excellent. One cocktail was tasty, the other bad. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was very friendly (our waiter called Ido). It was a nice evening but the price is quite ridiculous for what it was.

Coffee was great, location is great, Waitress not so great - after asking for the bill 3 times gave me attitude that she is alone and I can wait and by the way said thats why I dont like tourists... I told her with this attitude she will really get places - maybe 'tourists' should not spend their money there (I am not a tourist in Israel... but hey - just saying). No Tip for attitude thank you!

Nothing special. Food was mediocre. Service good. Presence of other people smoking at nearby tables (and no designated smoking and non-smoking areas) deeply annoying. It ruined the whole experience.

Food mediocre, service poor. Nice environment on beach apart from very loud phonecall nearby. Better music than La Mer

So strange that they let people smoke in the open air in 2021. Food is mediocre, service not bad, cleanliness clearly not a priority and covid masks for personnel not even recommended. Lucky for them to be on the beach.

Very good cocktails and food ! Waiters are gentle, service quick also when there's a lot of people. Prices are expensive but ok for a beach restaurant.

Terrible service, ugly food, don't go there. on Saturday evening i was there with my family, we ordered multiple dishes, some for sharing- the waitress forget to bring us extra small plates until we almost finished with the mill. one of the dishes came out about 25 minutes later from the rest of the mill and without all the ingredients, after we called the waitress she promised to fix and it and said she was very sorry. Another 20 minutes later a guy called Nissan brought it once again, this time even less complete then before- the burger without the ban... when we asked him if it seems ok and that's how the burger should be Nissan started to yell and shout violently that this is how the dish take it or leave it, from my side you can stay hungry... filling humiliated i told him i would like to cancel it. please just avoid going there

Horrible service, waited over 20 min for just some pitas. I ordered and paid and right after while I was waiting I got asked if I had ordered something by the same guy?! Then it took and insane amount of time for them to get it ready and in the end we got them all filled up with hummus instead of having it on the side?!? It was ridiculous, it's impressive for it to be this bad and take this long :') This place is a joke, don't go.
