I was very disappointed. We should have a view to the sea, we had the view to the construction and the machine noise at 7:30am. Good Morning!!. Ok it can appends but in this case you make some discount, but you don't say with a big smile, You have the best room of the hotel!!! The we asked once to clean the terrace which was very dirty because of the construction, "no problem sir, immediately". Then we went a second time. Then the third time the next day. After 3 yes immediately, I gave up and cleaned it by myself with towels... The worst is that the manager give me 10% because I wasn't happy at all, it was fare I thought, but as it was already paid, he told me that they will make me a transfer! I have the credit note with me, I tried by phone, I tried by mail. Nobody is interested in giving me my money back! Incredible!

One of the best on the beach side. The reception was too good, allowed us to keep our luggage with them after checkout and allowed us to take a shower after we came back from the day tour.

I think this hotel has potential. It reminds me all the old movies of Casa Blanka and the Sahara Star hotel I visited in Mumbai. It has its style and charm. In my recent visit, I received a gorgeous room with the view on the sea and a balcony. It was a wonderful experience to swim in the sea first thing in the morning, and also to see the sunset straight from my room. I also found staff to be quite responsive. And I liked that since my last visit, the swimming pool on the top floor was fixed. It’s small; and the sea is much better - but for people who don’t like the sea or don’t know to swim it can be nice. I didn’t like breakfast. For the level of the hotel, the breakfast needs to be much better. The food needs to be fresh, with no questions. I also found it a bit weird that the “hotel’s standard” is to provide half full nespresso set in rooms. People won’t drink more than 1-2 coffees, and yet I want to see that the set is full. Otherwise how do I know if it was refilled after the previous guests?

An outstanding hotel and service from the management staff and cuisine. Loved this place and my stay. Motee & Saeed thank you for making this trip a wonderful experience. Friendly and helpful staff, great location near the beeches, central for tour pickups, and comfortable to rest your head after busy days of exploring. My room was pleasant and comfortable. It was pretty quiet too, I didn't hear random noises from guests or staff. A nice touch is a laundry room in the basement if you need to clean your clothes. The hotel also has a Bible study group if guests are interested in engaging that way.

So very disappointed by the service of the hotel, 1 female staff member in particular being extra rude - not only to me, but to other guests of the hotel as well. It's a religious holy day today which means shabbat is to be kept which is very beautiful to experience, but when I asked the staff lady for help on how to order some coffee in the morning she firstly ignored me and then proceeded her rude behaviour until I repeated my question and she finally replied with "I don't speak english" and mumbling some words in Russian. - So I spoke to her in Hebrew to make it easier to communicate but she just kept being rude and dismissive telling me to go away and that there's no coffee. (I was eventually helped by another guest of the hotel which was kind enough to help). Unfortunately she has been here for every morning for all the duration of my stay.

a very beautiful hotel and good location, the rooms are beautiful and clean, a beautiful view from the window, but we will not recommend the hotel, because it is very strange, but it turned out that at night there is no security at all in the hotel, one girl is not at the reception for the whole hotel. And anyone can enter the hotel at night. You don't feel safe at all. I don't know how this is allowed. We paid for breakfast, but the choice of food is poor and there is not enough of it, you have to ask the waiters all the time, who are also very few, and if you come to the end of breakfast, there is no food left at all. We met a family who lived in the next room, so they didn’t pay for breakfast, but they had breakfast all the time they lived, simply because they thought that it was necessary, no one controls it. And we paid a lot of money for breakfast, but there was no food enough, because it turned out that there are too many people who did not pay anything and many do not live in this hotel at all. We felt cheated. A very strange policy of the leadership is to save on security and maintenance, but to feed everyone for free. Therefore, we will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel, attracted by its beautiful rooms and fantastic location right across from a lovely beach. While the hotel itself is well-appointed and ideally situated, our overall experience was unfortunately marred by several incidents and the staff's unprofessional behavior. Firstly, we experienced a significant noise disturbance from a neighboring room that was hosting a loud party. Despite reporting this issue to the reception twice, it took hours for them to address the situation, and we were even woken up again at 3 AM by the continued noise. Adding to our disappointment, our complaint email to the hotel management was met with complete silence. This lack of responsiveness further highlights the unprofessionalism we encountered during our stay. Moreover, while trying to relax by the hotel pool, we witnessed a guest bringing a dog to the area, which subsequently urinated near the pool. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, our concerns were once again dismissed, and no action was taken to clean up the mess. The staff at this hotel seems utterly unprepared to handle guest complaints and appears disinterested in providing a satisfactory experience. Many of them also seem to have poor English skills, making communication even more difficult. In summary, while this hotel boasts beautiful rooms and a superb location, our stay was severely impacted by the unprofessional and unresponsive staff. It is disappointing to see such potential wasted, and we would hesitate to recommend this hotel to others unless significant improvements are made in staff training and responsiveness to guest concerns.

The hotel has excellent access to the beach. The hotel is in decent condition and has a decent gym. No room service, no dining option. The hotel bar closes officially at 11pm, but wasn’t staffed before then either. Housekeeping is spotty. During the last three days, they didn’t refill the body wash container. After a day or so I left the container open to attract attention. Nothing. The towels weren’t always clean. There are a lot of rowdy guests, banging on doors in the night. The staff wasn’t always friendly. When I walked in once, an elderly gentleman behind the reception had one of the employees stop me on the way to the elevator and check if I’m a guest and ask what my room number was. The hotel doesn’t have any direct street access, so getting picked up by shuttles or taxis is a nightmare. One always has to guess where they are going to stop, which could be anywhere in the vicinity.

The location is excellent, near everything!!! We had an oceanfront view and it was beautiful. The room was modern, clean (except for the dead cockroach we found by the drapes) and the bathroom (especially the shower) was well laid out. The lighting was good and the breakfast was outstanding. One negative is the pool is too small, always crowded, no chairs and not enough shade. The gym was always accessible.

Hotel location is fantastic, reception staff, very professional, especially a person name Moti. Room upgrade was great and the view was exceptional. but poorly supplied. The Restaurant was poor, a cold sterile atmosphere. Unfortunately the staff are poorly trained, and not very engaging to help, difficult to communicate. The restaurant manager was very helpful and tries his best, but his staff needs more training and international hospitality experience. A hotel that is trying hard to exist but lacks the experience and finesse of a 5* hotel. A word of advice…Coffee machines should be used in offices not in hotels. Customers staying should always have the option of a Barista trained staff at hand to give the option. Especially when the Head chef makes himself a proper coffee while clients line up at a machine. Not a good look. Breakfast is terrible, selection very poor… it felt more like a cafe rather then a 4* hotel… once again, more training needed.

Disgusting hotel, disrespectful and unprofessional staff The AC stopped working for a whole day, we were getting ready for a wedding and it was a disaster. when we can back at night, they didn’t clean the room, we came back to a filthy dirty room, no running water!!!!, dirty towels and sheets. Never ever book here. Worst experience I had in my life. The staff and the manager didn’t even apologised for all the mess.

The best thing about our stay was the professional and courteous treatment we received from Moti Smadja. I was here with my family of 10. We had 5 rooms and Moti took care that we were happy with the rooms and that everything went smoothly throughout our stay. I hope Hotel management are aware of what a gem Moti is among a sea of mediocre-service providers.

Had a room booked for this weekend. I kept trying to call so I could book a spa massage appointment, but evertime I reached someone and asked if they speak english they would hangup on me. I called over 15 times and everytime they hung up on me. Definitely canceling my booked hotel room

My stay at Herbert Samuel Opera Tel Aviv was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the modern and elegant design, which set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities one could hope for. The comfortable bed made for a restful and rejuvenating stay. The staff at Herbert Samuel Opera went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. They were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive to my needs. Their genuine warmth and hospitality made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my time at the hotel was the delicious and diverse breakfast spread, which offered a delightful range of options to suit every palate. The quality of the food and the exceptional service. The hotel's location is another significant advantage (right across the street from the beach). In summary, I cannot recommend Herbert Samuel Opera Tel Aviv enough. The combination of luxurious accommodations, stellar service, and an unbeatable location made my stay a truly memorable one. I will definitely be returning to this gem of a hotel during my next visit to Tel Aviv.

50m from the beach, and surrounded by a myriad of other hotels and services, there is no question that the hotel is well located. However, it isn't particularly functional. For example, the queen bed is actually two doubles pushed together (and you can start to slide into the gap while you're sleeping); the shower is missing one 'wall' (which makes the bathroom floor very slippery); the bathroom has floor to ceiling windows (which, depending on the location of your room, can be racing other hotel windows [that you can see while you're showing, even if there curtains are closed]); and, as seen on the photo, some buttons and knobs are missing. Overall, a decent hotel.

Hotel had no record of my corporate reservation at check in so I ended up waiting for a while until they sorted it out. Other than that, beautiful upper-scalr hotel at a great location.

Beautiful hotel and location. Bathrooms and rooms are clean and staff are very friendly. Right by the beach - pool also a fantastic option. Would book again and again.

This hotel is the worst hotel I have been to. The room was ok but in terms of communication employees were awful. There is a clear rule between booking and the object that the hotel is obligated to invoice the guest. They were ignoring my emails (not replying), ignoring my calls and my friends who came there to ask for it on my behalf. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who want to save its energy for sightseeing or resting.

For the most part our 3 nights stay was really nice. Breakfast is amazing and the location is incredible. That being said there was a lot I was unhappy with. The manager is disgusting! I got the deluxe room that I booked and the room was absolutely tiny not only that but the only window was maybe 2ft by 2ft on the bottom corner of the room. The room looked nothing like it did on the pictures. I went to complain and ask for a room that had more then a foot around the bed and the disgusting manager said no that’s all your going to get if your not happy then leave. There was no apology and not a drop of effort to accommodate us. It is not a cheap hotel and no one deserves to be treated with such disrespect. This was my wedding anniversary. They will not work with you to make your stay better. One more thing, the pool is not what you would expect it’s maybe 6 by 30 ft and is very shallow. It’s always packed because it’s so small and you definitely cannot go swimming there.

AC DO NOT WORK HOPING SOMEONE CAN HELP BEFORE WE LEAVE!!!! Im Hoping someone from the Hotel can help me. We rented 3 rooms for 7 nights beginning on July 3rd and Checking out on July 10th. The reservations are under my wife’s name Mary Almosny. We checked in on the 3rd after a very long flight very tired. The AC did not work in 2 our of 2 rooms. Originally our rooms where 418, 419 and 420. That night we had 3 separate AC technicians come and check the AC and they all told us to give it 30 - 45 minutes each time - so that night of July the 3rd we wasted 2-3 hours hours and the ACs did not work at all. My kids in room 418 did not sleep at all and neither did we in room 419 - the room was very hot - it was too hot the passage to the room was significantly cooler. In the morning of July 4th, we came down let the lobby know of the problem and were told they would have it fixed by the time we arrived, we spoke to Moti that morning. When we returned at around 4 pm on July 4th - the problem was not solved - we asked to move our kids from the worst AC room 418 - so they did to 421. Again to recap room 419 the AC did not work either. But we gave it the chance again for Moti and the technician to resolve. After another 3 hours of waiting and waiting in the lobby at 7 pm I dediced to speak to someone who looked like a manager sitting in the lobby working on a computer. His name is Nimrod. He told me they would fix it asap and he would go over it. After another hour - with no solution I did not want to have another night where the room is too hot to sleep and told Nimrod Ï needed 2 new rooms for that night. To recap - I spent 3 hours waiting in the 3rd no solution and 4 of us could not sleep at night. Then another 4 hours on July 4th. The front desk was a total mess. When Moti took us up to see other rooms - my only requirement was that the AC was blowing COLD in the rooms. We found room 330 which is cold and room 322 - but before that he took us to 3 different rooms in the 4th floor in order to remain together - but what he thought would be clean ready rooms where eitheir occupied of very hot as well so we wasted another 30-60 minutes. That is 8 hours of our vacation wasted to far in 2 days - because of hotel issues - not really ok at all. We changed rooms another time as I mentioned to rooms 322, 330 and kept 420 that was find from the beginning. So another packing into the suitcase and moving for a 2nd time. OK so last night room 330 had no issues - works well my kids slept well BUT room 330 where my wife and I sleep the AC works BUT it turns off every 1-2 hours - I woke up 3 times in the middle of the night sweating with no AC in the Tel Aviv summer - and did not sleep again. I spoke to Nimrod this morning early at around 7-8 am when I left the room after not sleeping told him of the problem - he texted someone and I left for a day trip outside of Tel Aviv. I arrived at night and the AC in my room was off - same as it happened last night - so I know nothing changed. I am very disappointed in the fact that we had to 1) not be able to sleep when we paid for good hotels rooms at the Opera and 2) wasted so far 8+ hours of our vacation because of the issue and STILL dont have 3 good rooms. I think it is very unprofessional from the everybody involved to allow this to happen KNOWING the problem exists because we told them every time.

It was unfortunately a disappointing experience. The good - the front door security and front desk staff are terrific. Nice and helpful. Same for the breakfast staff. The rest of the staff, pool, bar, cleaning were snarly, rude and unhelpful to the extreme. Customer service on phone was no better - unhelpful, did not deliver what was requested. Towels at the pool had to be begged for and then waited for. During cleaning times (which appeared to be most of the day), piles of dirty linens are supplies scatter the halls (not even in bins) - quite disgusting to see throughout a hotel. Other than the lobby, the appearance is old and dated and worn. The room (with a king) was very small. Outfitted like a 2 star hotel - with coffee machine and plug in kettle on the desk. The pool area is very small and never cleaned/cleared during the day. So, towels are over chairs and on the ground and lay there - so it is not clear what is and what is not occupied. Pool area must be vacated at 7 when the sunset is after 7:45. So, while the view is very nice, it is closed for the most beautiful part of the day. The construction all around the hotel was very poorly contained and made everything dirty and quite ugly - no effort at all to cover it up. A chain linked fence is not what an entrance to this hotel should be. But it is indicative of the lack of care shown.

The hotel and location is ok. But the service is a complete disaster. The A/C didn’t work for 2 days the temperature inside the room was 28degrees. Then the bathroom got flooded completely for also 2 days because they simply don’t come to fix it. You can call and ask 10 times but they don’t answer they don’t care about anything. The best of this hotel is the breakfast. They gave me a compensation but it does not worth. They are doing big construction right in front of the hotel. Does not worth the money to stay here. Avoid

Probably the best hotel in Tel Aviv. Excellent customer relations, the stuff is great and very helpful, they helped me to change the room, even the hotel was fully booked. I have to mention the CEO, mr. Dudu. I never had such a good experience with hotels in Tel Aviv. I totally recommend. You want be sorry! Thanks 🙏

Only positive comments related to this location! During the check-in, a strange reaction from reception manager ( probably not adapted tips..)... Anyway strongly recommanded!

We had great time at the hotel The manager is available 24/7 and was personally helpful and alert for all our needs The room is very nice Thank you

Horrible, worst customer service ever! To think that the manager Dudo literally hangs up the phone over and over again to the girl at the front desk, because he wants to hide away from his obligations, is unacceptable, especially when he was fully aware of all the issues & problems we had with our suite room which we booked for 2 nights. Shame on the hotel to keep a manager of this level running the show, very disappointed customer

God hotel and good service great dinner , may be the best location in tel aviv , u got the beach just acros the road. The only diadvantage is the extrimly little pool. Have a great holiday :)

The rooms are really nice. Though, the hotel service is below amateur level, zero hospitality, especially at the front desk. The pool is tiny (the pictures don't show how small it is).

We had an amazing time at the Opera Herbert Samuel TLV. The hotel is beautiful, feels luxurious and is in an amazing location right on the beach and close to other great TLV sites. The hotel let us check in 2 hours early as our room was ready anyways and upgraded us from a standard room with a window to the lobby to a room with a regular window which was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was particularly beautiful. The breakfast buffet was very nice (usually open only Friday-Saturday, but they open it if there are enough people midweek as well). The hotel has a really nice gym. The pool is small so it is more for hanging out than for actual swimming but it has a stunning view of the beach. The staff at the reception desk was very nice, particularly the manager. Would definitely come again!

Room without window! Be careful that lobby view means “no windows” when we asked to change they say we need to pay double price. Staff is unpleasant. Tiny Swimming pool.

Had a wonderful time. Anatoli was always very friendly and helpful. This hotel is very lucky to have him as an employee. Chen and Nicole were very welcoming and always happy to help. They contributed to a very pleasant stay.

Great Hotel. Wonderful stay. Everything is very clean and the stuff was thinking about every little part. Nice pool with gorgeous view. 1 minute walk to the beach. Restaurants and one-stop shop are next to the hotel. Good breakfast, very modern interior design of the lobby hall and the room along with corridors. Single disadvantage is that the parking lot is not a part of the hotel and the price is too much expensive.
