We
booked
four
rooms
at
the
Jaffa
Garden
from
Nov
25
to
the
29th
2022.
There
are
good
things
and
bad
things
about
this
hotel.
What's
good:
Location
(Jaffa
area),
only
a
few
steps
to
the
Tower
Clock,
to
the
sea,
to
the
Jaffa
flea
market
and
an
assortment
of
shops
and
restaurants,
not
far
from
a
tramway
stop.
The
building
itself
is
not
bad
and
at
least
our
room
had
a
decent
size
and
we
had
a
nice
view
(windows,
no
terrace).
You
could
hear
street
noise,
but
that
wasn't
particularly
problematic
for
us
(for
other
friends
in
the
group
it
was
a
major
issue).
There
was
a
young
guy
who
helped
us
bring
the
luggage
upstairs
and
got
all
busy
to
get
our
rooms
ready
(because
they
hadn't
been
cleaned)
when
we
arrived.
The
hotel
does
not
provide
breakfast,
so
instead
they
give
you
tickets
that
you
can
exchange
for
goodies
in
a
nice
24-hr
bakery
a
couple
of
doors
to
the
side.
If
tickets
are
not
sufficient
you
go
back
to
the
hotel
and
they
give
you
more.
Very
important:
the
building
does
not
have
an
elevator
and
the
first
thing
you
need
to
do
to
get
to
the
reception
desk
is
to
walk
up
a
flight
of
20
or
so
stairs.
Then
more
stairs
up
to
the
rooms.
Not
a
major
problem
for
me
specifically
but
it
was
clearly
a
hassle
for
many
others.
What's
bad:
Unfortunately
the
property
is
very
poorly
maintained.
Given
the
amount
of
mold
in
the
shower
corners,
the
broken
fixtures
in
the
bathroom,
how
filthy
the
room
floor
was,
and
the
many
'details'
all
over
the
place,
I’m
convinced
this
was
not
a
once-off
problem
but
rather
something
systemic.
If
only
they
could
get
someone
to
thoroughly
clean
the
rooms
(including
the
bathroom),
get
rid
of
the
stains
in
the
curtains,
walls
and
windows,
to
ensure
there
are
towels
in
every
room
(it
took
us
long
hours
into
one
of
the
nights
until
we
came
across
someone
who
after
many
minutes
of
going
over
language
barriers
finally
gave
them
to
us),
to
timely
clean
up
the
terrace
and
halls
from
garbage
(some
of
which,
unfortunately,
guests
leave
behind),
and
to
fix
the
many
small
'things'
across
the
property:
hanging
wires,
stained
sofas,
etc.
the
guest
experience
would
be
significantly
improved.
It
doesn't
require
a
lot
of
money,
but
rather
a
decisive
willingness
to
take
better
care
of
the
rooms
and
the
entire
building,
and
to
be
on
top
of
the
bear
minimum
expectations
(like
clean
towels!)
of
their
guests.
We
plan
to
go
back
to
Tel
Aviv
but
we’re
definitely
not
returning
to
this
hotel
until
we
hear
that
things
of
this
sort
have
been
taken
care
of.
