😠 I had a horrible experience at this surf shop. The man who worked there was extremely pushy and grabbed my arm at one point. After I had paid him, he said something INCREDIBLY misogynistic and demeaning to me. Avoid this surf shop. There are plenty of others! People often mention surf,

It's a good beach, but my least favourite in Tel-Aviv. Maybe because paying for chairs and getting the resident's discount is always a hastle, with the machine not working.

Had a terrible experience eating there. The food was ok, standard beach restaurant options at normal too-high prices. But the service was horrible - probably because we were speaking English between ourselves. Here's the short version, minus the shouting and swearing at us: Most of the meal our waiter ignored us and brought our food way too long after we ordered, even though it wasn't busy. When the cheque came just stood there, with his groin touching the table, waiting and watching to see what tip we would give. We asked him to give us a little space and he just took one step back. Then after we gave a decent tip, he picked out all the smallest change and angrily told us told us he wasn't a beggar, and started arguing with my brother and I. Eventually, sick of taking abuse from him, I went to complain to the cashier and other waiters, but they wouldn't give me the time of day. I phoned the manager, but once I told him I was complaining about the service, he hung up on me and wouldn't take my calls or call me back. Don't know or care how the surf shop is. I will never, ever go back there.

Great location... unfortunately most other reviewers are right... the tables were dirty even though there were several waiters nobody seemed to be too concerned regarding actual service. Still waiting at a dirty table... do they actually have service? 🤨

Relaxed, unpretentious place. Everyone speaks good English so you can ask whatever random question. Parking close too. Actual beach area could be cleaner but that's Tel Aviv beaches for you. Surf instructors are lovely.

Great place to hangout with friends and family , and watch the sun slowly drift behind the sea. Spectacular sight!

As with all the beach bars, great place for a beer and a plate of chips in the sun while watching the waves., but don't eat here. Seriously overpriced and wholly underwhelming. We were lucky to get a good waiter, but the food was rubbish and coffee pretty average too. The nachos were just a plate of cornchips with a couple of small pottles of sauce - for about 40NIS.

Poor service. These guys just want to get as much money as possible from you. In addition to the high prices, they will make you pay for the wax to put on their rental boards.

👍👍 I got to meet the boss topsea from Gordon beach in Tel Aviv. The surf school is one of the best I ever seen! the environment is incredible, the vibes are outstanding, and the people are always smiling. If your going there ask for assaf for private lessons he’s one of the best teachers I’ve seen.
