We did reservation and came at the opening hour 18:00, didn’t know what to expect because it’s a bit early and we thought it will hurt the atmosphere. So it didn’t ! Fantastic atmosphere, great music and very professional service of the all staff. The food was unbelievable tasty, super quality products. We start with Narrow-barred Spanish mackerel. For main we go for the Sashimi with sheep yogurt and horseradish. the second main was Potato agnolotti with mascarpone. Dessert was also 2 dishes.. Espresso cream cheese and Oatmeal ice cream. All dishes without exceptions was incredible, the ingredients the freshness, delicious combination of flavors ! Highly recommend !

Rarely I ever give more than a 4 to a restaurant as it is NEVER perfect. Bar51 proven me a 5 star is possible. Accurate and perfect from start to finish. The Obtuse barracuda and dover sole are literally the only 2 dishes out of 13 dishes I ordered that was good and not great. but literally, everything els was accurately GREAT. Nothing made me fall off my chair and think - “how did the chef think of that?” but did blow my mind the flavors and accuracy. from the sauces, to the dough, to the perfectly cooked meat/fish/pasta. Bar 51 has a great wine selection and very well educated staff. the beef tartar Bruschetta and Potato & Mascarpone Agnolotti are the absolute BEST dishes! the cheese and crackers, sashimi, salads and red tuna were all great. tasteful and light. The cheese burger is perfectly made and is their interpretation to a cheeseburger. Instead of cheddar cheese they’re using tzatziki and lots of dill which was really nice and light. the dishes are not too big as it is a bar restaurant, so many dishes we ordered 2-3 of. the desserts are also great. each and every one of them (We’ve had them all and 2 of the Espresso & Cheese Mousse. Pistachio Filo. Cardemom Granite as it was the best out of them). I would of wanted a more filling dessert that goes well with the area and season. such as some sort of Knafe, maybe basbosa or Lieli Beirut. I mean, we are in israel/middle east so local flavors with the chefs amazing techniques most likely would of left me with an urge to come back sooner then later. I will definitely go back at some point when I am in Israel again next time.

Probably the place with the worst value for money you’ve seen. three small pieces of fish 85₪ 🙈 Four pieces of asparagus 64₪ 😠 The only reason for the two stars is that the dishes tasted ok. I strongly recommend avoid this place there’s so many places in the city that worth much more.

An Elite restaurant in a trendy bar setup at the promenade of Tel Aviv beach. The whole restaurant is around drinking and sharing small plats of fine food, which is around Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. We ordered around 6 dishes with wine by the glass, and the food was excellent, although the plates are quite small compared to their somewhat high pricing. All of the dishes were prepared superbly, thoughtfully mixed to give the right experience and let you enjoy the food. Service was OK, not excellent as you would have expected. All in all a good experience, mainly if you look for a drink and something on the side.

This place offers wonderful food. I’ve been here several times over the last few years and each time we’ve been here the food was simply excellent. However you do have to take into account that the prices are quite high. I also wouldn’t recommend sitting outside because it’s right on the road which is very busy with buses and cars. Indoor sitting is a little crowded as well but is much better.

I had a fantastic experience at Bar 51! I feel lucky to have secured a table outside as the restaurant is so popular. The food was absolutely amazing - fresh and bursting with flavor. Although there was a miscommunication with the waitresses, it was quickly resolved and didn't detract from my overall experience. I must say, the chefs at Bar 51 really know what they're doing. The fish was cooked to perfection and the flank steak was super delicious. It's always a pleasure to discover a restaurant that delivers both taste and quality. Despite the higher prices, I still highly recommend Bar 51 to anyone looking for a great meal. The quality of the food and the experience are definitely worth the expense.

Wonderful food. Fusion of Mediterranean and French cuisine. Fine dinning in a cozy and young environment. Don’t miss the first dishes, the cheese and the fresh seafood with a twist. Highly recommended during your visit to Tel aviv

One of Tel Aviv’s best restaurants in my opinion. The place is Heaven for wine & fish lover. Each dish is special, made with fresh ingredients and high quality fishes. The dishes are small and pricy but definitely worth it. Besides high quality dishes the restaurant offers a variety of alcohol beverages, mainly wines. If you are a couple so it’s recommended to sit on the bar viewing to the open kitchen. The place is well designed and the ambiance is well set. Service of kind and amazing. Make reservations in advance. I recommend not to sit outside cause the street can be noisy at some hours.

We really enjoyed this place. Hostesses need to be a bit more attentive, but they definitely aren’t anything as close as what people write on here. The ambiance is modern & cool, place was full, our server Maya was top notch. The food, melt in your mouth delicious. I forgot when I ate such an interesting and awesome flavors and I’m from NY. Definitely will be back on our next trip.

My pictures are terrible for 1 reason, I couldn't care less to take a picture because the smell of the food was irresistible! Everything was on point. Quality was incredible. Flavors were accurate. Staff was knowledgeable. LOVED IT.

*Fine dining alert* From personal tatse and preference we ate only fish dishes, and it was amazing. (Didn't try the oysters and seafood or meat) We enjoyed all our food, our favorites and must from this evening are the Angolotti pasta and fish skewer with grilled leek. All raw fish were fresh and well served. Rich options of great wines along with fantastic service made our evening perfect We went celebrating, and were looking for something special, if you are on a budget that is not the place.

Perhaps the best restaurant in Tel Aviv. The atmosphere is beautiful, the music is great, the food is astonishing and the cocktails are delicious. I had 3 different cocktails that were tailored made and each one tasted better then the previous. The food was so tasty. We had the beef bruschetta, the obtuse barracuda bruschetta (A MUST!!) as starters. We then shared the amberjack, potato and mascarpone agnolotti (also a must) and to finish the seabass (the best dish of them all). To end it all we had the espresso and cheese mousse. This restaurant was so good that I booked a spot once a month for the next 3 months.

I expected better. As far as the place goes, we sat outside which is kind of close to a busy street, and a lot of people, trucks and bus, so the atmosphere was not very good. The staff were nice and fun, but the service was slow and we had to ask about our dishes a few times. The dishes did not arrive in an order which made sense, cheese then bruschetta then salads, wine arrived in the middle of the dishes... So not great. The food, The food was decent, Cheese platter was good, and the jam was fabulous... Shame that the cracker was not enough, but we ordered bread so it was acceptable. The bruschetta, we ordered the beef tartar and the threadfin one, beef was really salty. The crudo has the same problems with flavor, and the creme fresh kind of saved it but it was off. The baby Gem salad was pointless honestly, nothing there The asparagus was mediocre and I lacked a decent sauce to it. The anolotti was actually a good dish al dente with good filling. We were actually kind of full after so we decided to skip dessert. I had a glass of LA Salita which I liked and my wife had a virgin cocktail, we both enjoyed our drinks All together... 3/5.

One of the best restaurants Tel Aviv has to offer this days. Delicious and well served dishes with great service and top atmosphere. We had a chance to try out the tuna bone marrow dish that was exquisite.

Arguably one of the best restaurants and expert curated wine lists in Tel Aviv from the same group as Jerusalem’s Mona. Visit for a seasonal Mediterranean menu with a French-Japanese twist. May 2022 highlights - Bluefin Sashimi, Amberjack Crudo, Drum Fish Skewer and Agnolotti.

—— edit - 4 stars —— Haven’t been there lately but ordered during Covid and everything was extremely delicious so 4 stars instead of 3, and when in there next hopefully it’ll be a 5. —— original - 3 stars —— Food is well prepared, but nothing too inventive. It’s also poor value for money - dishes are small and really expensive. Our bartender was constantly distracted, which doesn’t make a great experience. Atmosphere is nice, but a bit too cold and snotty.

Cute place with a nice atmosphere. We sat at the bar (even though usually I don’t like it) and had a good time. Our waitress was not very helpful and not very knowledgeable about the wine menu, which was quite disappointing. The food was delicious but definitely pricey. I highly recommend the cheese plate.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever tried. Every dish was perfect and full of flavour. Great service, great atmosphere and it’s amazing to see the hard work of the chefs behind the counter. 100000000/10

Nice popular Resto-bar, nice venue in a restored building. Good food, small portions, rather expensive. Staff could be friendlier.

The food is exceptional, the vibe is at the top, BUT, the dished are very small and expensive. Mainly recommended for a sharing meal with many people, and if you're not too hungry. Don't miss the burger!

I love this place so much, sitting at the bar, watching all the action of preparing the food, and enjoying every bite of the varied menu.

I wanted to tell you about my recent experience in your restaurant and express my disappointment at the excessive prices charged during my visit. I am a loyal customer and have always appreciated the quality of your dishes, but this time the final bill seemed disproportionate to my experience. As a consumer, I understand that prices can vary from one restaurant to another depending on various factors such as the quality of ingredients, the culinary experience offered and operating costs. However, I feel that the prices charged during my recent visit were excessively high and did not reflect the perceived value of the overall experience. The prices charged exceeded my expectations, which unfortunately tarnished my experience. I'm aware that every restaurant has its own pricing policies, but I think it's important to consider the opinions and satisfaction of your loyal customers. It is in this spirit that I am asking you today to consider appropriate compensation that would reflect my disappointment and commitment to your establishment. you'll find attached an overview of the bill for the exorbitant price of a small salad with two expensive tomatoes at 76 nis served on a very small plate and a small piece of hard bread at 22 nis, not counting the wine worm with just a base at the price of 57 nis.

Everything we had was great, the burger was especially memorable. Sitting at the bar was an experience. The staff were really cool and helpful throughout with chaser shots provided in-between courses. The price was exceptionally reasonable given the quality of food and the service.

Nice atmosphere and good service. Food was ok but not really generous and price is quite expensive. The burger is small and served alone without fries...

Delicious, but expensive and no vegan options at all (2 adaptation of meat/fish based dishes at the original expensive price, and not even a single dessert/adaptation). For the fine eaters it is recommended at least once, but vegans stay clear.

The restaurant is very decorated and beautiful , the atmosphere is good and pleasant. The waitress was very professional and nice. The food was delicious but and it's a big but. The prices are not reasonable, the course were small and without any proportion to their price.

Looking for a place for a nice date, or to sit at the bar for a show? where things can go late and bit crazy as well, dont miss Bar 51. With their amazing selection of wine, impecable menu and cordial service. Its up there in the fine dinning and drinking experience.

Open-kitchen bar/restaurant close to TLV beach. Music was too loud and staff was inexperienced and amateurish.. still, the food was good - albeit, expensively priced..

It was my 3rd visit to the restaurant, 1st time since after lockdown. My previous two visits, early 2020, were excellent. Unfortunately the quality of the dishes wasn't as good as before. The fish lacked taste, the cheese plate was the best part of the meal. Even the mojito cocktails lacked flavor.

👍 It’s been a few years since my last visit and the place grew a lot and is now a huge restaurant right on the port of Jaffa. The design is very impressive too. We arrived just before 1pm and had plenty of room, despite the fact that we did not have an order. Right after we sat down, the staff brought...
