Yummy! Dinner at Onauma was just delicious! All dishes felt authentic and were well prepared. Really recommend the fried chicken dish that was especially tasty. 🍗😋And the tapioca dessert was something special and surprising for sure. The service was welcoming, and the staff was nice. The atmosphere is super chill. No doubt we will come back 👌🏼

A small family run business with very tasty and authentic food, quick service and decent prices. Everything that we had was really good with authentic flavors, though they do let fine tune the level of spiciness if you want to tone it down. Rally recommended if you are in the Carmel Market and live Thai food. 🌶️🍛

If you looking for an authentic Thai restaurant- this is the place. Everything I love about restaurants- small, simple but true. The food is amazing and the menu has a lot of options. The price is fair. The staff were so nice.

Amazing! The best Tom yam in Israel that I tried. You get this huge bowl with super tasty soup and they put a lot of shrimps( see pictures). Also papaya salad with shrimps is really good. Order a table in advance online. Definitely recommend !

I will start in say that the food is tasty. The dishes are large and the flavor are good. It is also very nice that you can choose the level of the spicy in most of the dishes. However, the service was missing. We were seated very quickly and took our order, gave us the drinks, and from than was no service. Didn’t clean our table between the dishes, put the new plate on dirt from previous one and leave the empty plate on the table. Didn’t bring us napkins, didn’t asked how are we, and gave us the bill without cleaning the table, all the plates and the dirt still on the table. We was waiting 1.5 months for coming, and we live 500 meters from there, and goes home a little bit disappointed. Again, the show is the food and this was great. I hope they will correct the service until my next time, someday

We came to 'Onauma' ( a Thai restaurant )  to celebrate our birthday. It was perfect. When We got in the place seemed small but after a few seconds it was like we were in a different place all together. It feels like Thailand. The service was exceptional, quick, efficient and  friendly. But the highlight of the evening was the delicious dishes. They were simple but special, very tasty, and magical. the drinks were unick and the dessert was like the cherry on the top of the cake, it was dreamy. We had the best time ever and the cost wasn't high. I recommend it warmly!

Pretty simple Thai place. The food which was supposed to be super authentic was just mediocre. We had 2 of the most recommended dishes which were OK. Eatable, nothing more. Service was very nice.

One of the best restaurants I have ever visited! Small and authentic Thai restaurant with remarkable food and service. Fresh and rich flavors, each dish was amazing. The staff was super nice and kind. I'll come back for sure!

Excellent place for Thai food and one of the three best in Tel Aviv. That's surprising how they make everything so gentle yet so kicking with tastes.

Very tasty and good place. Be calm when you arrive the atmosphere is slow and cool and so is the service. Very kind family. Really worthy of the waiting outside for a while (we came late like 21:30)

This really feels and tastes like Thailand! They have all the best dishes and they keep adding. Onauma runs a high standard kitchen and she makes sure every dish is perfect!

A restaurant at a very high level. Nice and friendly, the chances of finding seats without making a reservation is impossible. As for the food, you will feel all the combinations of flavors. The prices are normal for this quality of food. I recommend 100% for sure I will come back.

Awesome! So far the best Thai food outside of Thailand for me. We had two starters, a curry and a main and almost exploded but couldn't stop cause everything was so damn tasty. Also great cocktails! Hope to be coming back soon. I recommend to reserve a table as the place is small and therfore usually booked. See you soon!

Such a nice place to eat real Thai food. Really reminds me of the food and vibes in Thailand. Loved it, and the price are ok compared to Tel Aviv prices. Papaya salad and chicken wings were great.

Laid back Thai spot serving the basics of Thai cuisine. Good is fresh, simple, and well seasoned. The atmosphere is very relaxed, in line with the general concept, and the staff is friendly and hospitable. Payapa salad with prawns and Thai style fried chicken wings were exceptional.

Nice and authentic Thai restaurant. Super spicy - even if you ordered mild level. Food was good but too spicy. They didn’t have the Thai beer from the tap (draught) which was pretty sad, as they have only bottled beer. Friendly staff.

This restaurant by far has the best thai food in israel and we can’t stop raving about it! The food is exceptional with such rich taste and the service is so fast that we decided to book a long vacation to travel Thailand (hopefully we won’t be disappointed by the food there because now we have high expectations). I had the chance to try most of the menu and ALL of the dishes are amazing, the favorites are: Kotyau Kua, Pad See Yu, Kau Soi Gai (exceptional Curry dish) and their desserts are an absolute experience. This place deserves all 5 stars because they’re incredible!

The most authentic Thai restaurant in Israel! Delicious specials all cooked with fresh seasonal ingredients. Great atmosphere and the staff is very welcoming.

The service was great, but the food didn't stand out too much. You could taste the paste in the green curry and the other dish was good, but not nothing special, the Thai eggplant was wayyy undercooked which gave it a rough texture compared to the rest of the dish... I do wish them the best, but it wasn't so much for me..

An incredibly good Thai restaurant, probably the most authentic Thai food I've had in Tel Aviv! We came during their pilot so the service was a bit slow, but the food was so good that it didn't matter.

Great authentic Thai cuisine inside the Carmel market. Everything we ordered was just great and perfectly cooked. But beware..there are 3 levels of spiciness. Unless your super mario dont go pass lev 1 or your lips might fall off 😉 Would def. Come back

The most Thai experience I had ever since I came back to Israel! Was living in Thailand for a while and I can say that the food was true to the source in every way!! 🔥 Spicy as hell so be careful 😜 Amazing people working there, the owner is super nice and humble! More then fair price for the whole thing. So.. if you are looking for the taste of Thailand again with a fair price - this is for you!

It’s hard to find authentic restaurants in Israel, especially if they’re Asian. Normally everything is processed to the Israeli tongue, but not here. The peppers are hot, the spices are strong and the menu has dishes I didn’t know before (been twice in Thailand). Everything was delicious, the owner is really nice, the chef is his wife and together they created a wonderful place for the real Thai food lovers. Wishing this place will stay for generations.
