I’ve read a lot of reviews before booking because the price seemed to good to be true. I’ve seen pod hotels in travel posts about Tokyo and been intrigued. And when I looked for stay in Tel Aviv without breaking a bank and saw this decided it’s worth a try. I tend to get claustrophobic so I decided not to risk it and luckily they had options. I felt very comfortable in the tall single pod with a sea view. For someone coming from Canada I didn’t feel hot, the AC worked well. It even fit my suitcase under the bed. Aroma Espresso bar downstairs and parking lot across the street. Close to the beach, walking distance to Old Jaffa. Staff was super friendly and explained everything well. One thing if you are light sleeper make sure you have ear plugs. Because you can hear people on the patio. Place has blackout curtains that worked well.

I stayed there for one night, and got upgraded for a beach view pod, which was incredible. I feel like I got value for my money. It was so cheap in comparison to other hotles close by, but I don't feel like I had to compromise. I would definitely return. The views were awesome, the place was very nice, and I really enjoyed the terrace. The staff was very kind as well. I liked the vending machines, they had lots of useful things like toothpaste and shampoo. The only reason I gave the place 4 stars is that the bathrooms were a bit messy, and the hairdryer didn't work.

Amazing experience. My husband and I had a beach facing double. Temperatures are perfect, comfortable, and very clean. Lockers specious and included, you can store your personal possessions. Showers clean and hot. Getting up to the top pod was interesting, not for the larger couples. Location perfect for a stroll to Jaffa. Lovely terrace. Lots of places to charge electrical devices in the pod and in Public areas. Easy check inn. We would stay again.

So much fun! Beautiful facility with a great view to wake up to. I recommend getting a room with a view and more space. I am from California and brought a lot of luggage that didn’t fit all in the room. Conveniently, they have a luggage storage area which is a locked room for everyone’s bags. If you are fine with leaving it and trusting no one will take it, it works great. I have loved my experience here as a lone traveler. I wish I could stay longer and that I slept better. The beds were soft and clean, jet lag just got the better of me. If you can, be sure to stay here!

I would not call this place a hotel, rather it is a hostel, because showers and toilets are shared. Generally clean, friendly staff. Beautiful view of the promenade and the sea. I didn't like the capsule experience, too little space. There is a great terrace. Make a cafe or dining room and it will be generally top.

If you are used to sleeping in a coffin then the pod hotel is glamping. Joking aside, the pods are clean and fine. Tip: the knob is to adjust the speed and direction of the fan. You're welcome. The staff is friendly the deck is great as the view is terrific. The washrooms should be attended to more frequently, however, I've seen worse and they didn't send me packing. When people sleep in tiny boxes and save on a real hotel, cleanliness is kinda important.

This was a great cool experience first time in a capsule pod hotel. Always wanted to try one and I will continue to use them. This place was really nice and modern. Great decor and areas to hang out and relax. A great balcony terrace area. Amazing view from my room. The shared bathrooms are also very nice and clean. Perfect privacy for showers. Front desk staff were very nice. The lockers are spacious to keep my overhead bin suitcase and my large backpack. But under the bed there space as well. The room was very comfortable. Of course pricing is great as well. Then basic room doesn’t have the higher ceiling and window view. But is also spacious enough to sit inside and relax. I recommend upgrading to the better rooms when they are available for the better experience but if you are keeping costs down then the regular room is fine. I like to explore when I travel so I don’t really need to have a hotel room all the time. Just a place to keep my things and sleep. When you check out there is a locked luggage room but it is shared. So just don’t leave valuables to be safe. But it’s at your own risk. In the end really great fun experience. It might not be for everyone but it’s a fun adventure to cross off your list. Wifi is included as well. And they have laundry rooms as well. Vending machines for hot drinks as well as snacks and drinks. There is a convenience store 2 minutes for the block for other necessities

Location was great but rooms were quite hot and I got a sore back the next day. The mattress is not very good for back support. Also I waited for about an hour to be served at the desk. It was very slow. My main frustration was our taxi to the airport for our 6am flight. We were told it was 170 shekels which is a lot already but got asked for 220 by the driver at the airport. We had an uncomfortable exchange and he said his card machine and taxi metre were both broken. PLEASE ASK HOW MUCH BEFORE LEAVING THE POD HOTEL. Apart from that the location was really good.

Very good place for backpackers and solo travelers. Very clean hostel, pods (capsules) are cosy and the view on the sea is amazing! Only the staff could be a bit more useful/smiling . But overall really recommended

Great location with amazing views and balcony. Really good AC and clean bathrooms. At first I wasn't comfortable with the pods and shared bathroom but the comfort of the bed was amazing and I slept like a baby. It also has good lighting, a fan and usb charging. Well worth the price. Free water too. Amazing. And very helpful staff and right next to the beach.

This was my first pod hotel experience but it was great. We only booked for one day and I wish we had just stayed her for our whole trip. Pods were clean and all things considered had plenty of room and were well ventilated. Showers and bathrooms were clean. The view from the patio was amazing. Price was fair, more than your standard hostel but for good reason. You can't beat the location right on the beach and most tours pickup right in front of the building. Would stay again on our next trip to Tel Aviv

This place is great for solo travelers or couples - clean common area, great showers and bathrooms- the pods are so cool and hype , the staff was wonderful and got us checked in quick with no hassle- George was incredible and very charming. The place is close to the beach and workout area across the street. I highly recommend checking this place out.

O-pod hotel has good location, the common area is very sunny with a nice view to the beach, this place is clean and nice. A BIG flaw this place has, is the fact that the pods doesn't have A/C. I asked at the reception for any cooling resolution and they said to turn on the venta inside the pod. It didn't help at all. The israeli summer is hot, and sleeping in the pod was unbearable. At 4 am i woke up sweating and dehydrated, i had to open the pod door for cool air. This place could be nice for winter, but i wont visit there ever in the summer.

Definitely try this hotel if you like modern interior, fabulous view of the sea and Jaffa, very attentive service. Who doesn’t like these? On top of these, it was the most affordable accommodation at the time of booking. Highly recommended!

Excellent location right by the beach. Entire building is secure with a security guard on ground floor. Very clean building, excellent staff. It has Everything for your minimalistic solo traveling needs. I purchased the cheapest option. The room is an actual pod like a coffin, with electricity and ventilation and a curtain plus glass door. I could hear my adjacent neighbors occasionally hitting the wall due to the enclosed space. My mattress was flattened in the middle and hurt my back so I had to readjust constantly. Tbh I didn’t get much sleep here. I slept 2 out of the 10 hours while I laid in the bed, but that may have been due to jetlag and the morning expresso shot. The whole facility is operated like a hotel and the bathroom is extremely clean. The lobby and large balcony offers a splendid view of the city. I enjoyed the stay here and would recommend, but perhaps with a larger room option.

Pod concept took a minute getting used to and is worth the significant savings over a regular hotel. Location was great. The cleanliness of the bathrooms, non-functioning adjustability of our fan, and noise of slamming doors was not. Also a bit squishy for two people. Did not sleep great either night. Photo below of the lame ‘sea view’ - don’t recommend paying extra for.

Great location between Old Jaffa, the beach and the night life spots. Extraordinarily clean and comfy capsules, though the shower and toilets areas need more attention. Small, frequently used, not always clean unfortunately. Shower gel needs regular refill. Staff could be friendlier sometimes (must be the long shift hours)..

Really, really nice staff, courteous and efficient, the staff were the best part of the experience. It’s terribly hard to find the hotel though and there are absolutely no signs outside-something management needs to change. I ended up guiding arriving guests looking lost outside the building, just like I had been. Overall, it was fun to try a pod. However, personally, I felt the concept is for someone traveling minimalist without a lot of stuff. Another note for management: hotel should really consider upgrading to better towels, I felt like I was using a dishrag. I won’t be returning but definitely see why it appeals to a particular market.

Pros: knowledgeable & helpful staff, excellent location, affordable and free coffee/tea/water. Cons: noise from other pods, cleanliness, lack of toiletries and amenities. Overall, recommended for the experience but not for long term stay. Tip: park in the open parking lot across the street. Much more affordable than the parking inside the building.

(Translated by Google) I recommend this hotel. For its view of Tel-Aviv. The price that has a super quality price. Great hotel even with large families or not. Everyone has their own room, which can hold 2 people. It's a concept that comes from Japan, so you sleep in a closed capsule. I recommend it 👍 (Original) Je conseille cet hôtel.

Spectacular views, balcony and public area. Friendly stuff. Unbeatable location. Price reasonable. Immaculately clean. As it's a Pod hotel, no point in evaluating rooms, amenities and service.

Directly at the sea, an alternative idea with different levels of comfort to choose. We were very happy to stay here and will surely book again if we travel to Tel Aviv! Also the Staff was very friendly and willing to help if we had questions:) One of the best places to stay as young people:)

  • 5/5 Derek L. 10 months ago on Google
I have been a bit apprehensive about staying in non-hotel, because it could totally jinx your whole experience in an otherwise exciting destination. But this place is not doing a shabby and sloppy job and in a sense it is better than those in Japan on some level (the idea of capsule hotel perhaps originated there). The place is in a prime location (mind you, on 4th floor in a commercial building), commands a panoramic view of the fabled beachfront, clean and chic. Staff courteous. The basic pod comes with storage cabinets and comfortable bed and duvet. The best part is the fact that it is closed quite tightly with a locked door as opposed to the curtains or rolls used regularly in most other places. Top notch for security and noise cancellation. There is a big locker for larger suitcase assigned for each pod.

Great experience, bridge between hotel and hostel: lot of attention from the staff, very clean bathroom and not crowded, fun experience in the pod! We loved it! The location cannot be better: facing the promenade and walking distance to the greatest sights

I have stayed 3 night at this place. The capsule was too hot touring the night and very hard to sleep. They play music all day with the lloud music until 23 in the evening. I don't know what type of people have enough energy? But after a long walk in the city and travel it will be very nice to have respect for the guests. I will not come back and I will not recommend this place to my friends as well.

Great location and you are walking distance to most things. This was a nice change of pace from the usual bunk bed hostels. The bathrooms were super clean. I’d definitely stay here again if I needed a place to relax. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty if you were inside your pod though but they have plenty of seating that overlooks the beach.

  • 5/5 Anette I. 2 years ago on Google
Very clean and modern hotel with an amazing design and view ! Their client service was good too, we had difficulties getting to the airport during Sabbath but the hostel staff saved our day by finding us a taxi. The only negative fact was that the entrance to the hotel was a bit hard to find.

  • 4/5 Megan L. 10 months ago on Google
An upscale hostel best describes this place. It’s an experience. Very basic, but upscale and very clean environment. Right across the street from the beach. Walking distance to Jaffa and the many restaurants nearby. Very safe area. I’m traveling in the Middle East for two weeks, and two nights in a pod is about the maximum I could handle. I like my space and my privacy. 😊

  • 4/5 Ivan K. 9 months ago on Google
The staff was very helpful and the pod was in line with expectations. The remark goes to the common area, which lacks more comfortable places to sit. When you sleep in a cpod that is something you really miss. Most of the seats are barstools in front of the glass, which is not what you need after a tiring tour of Tel Aviv.

Awesome and quiet place. Nice views. Very clean. Tiny but cosy rooms. Comfy beds. Clean toilets and showers. The terrace is great to watch the sunset. To arrive, just enter the "textile" building, then take the lifts on the right. First, push the 4th level in the panel to go there, no buttons inside the elevator!

Really nice hotel the concept is a bit special but we get used to it very quickly. The place is really clean, modern and quite calm at night. The staff was really nice and welcoming. The location is really amazing and the prices are more than attractif for the service ( especially for young people)

I had the best time at the O Pod Hotel. I have been wanting to do a pod experience since a long time, and it exceeded my expectations. The pod is super cozy and I slept like a baby. I could stay here forever. Hamza from the reception was really welcoming and nice and gave the best tips about the area. The hotel is clean, the view is amazing, central location, and just overall good vibes. Will definitely come back

  • 3/5 Paulina 1 year ago on Google
Very clean and nice hostel but there is one thing that makes my opinion lower. First of all capsule with a sea view which we booked was rather a capsule with limited view at the tables and chairs on the balcony. Fortunately there were no people outside. Definitely better than a typical hostel and good for 1-2 nights max.

  • 3/5 Rainer F. 1 year ago on Google
Good location, equipment quite new and cool open spaces! Nevertheless very pricey considering that you are sleeping in a capsule which is very small, lockers are not next to your capsule, its pretty noisy and the staff is not helpful neither friendly.

  • 4/5 Travel C. 1 year ago on Google
First time at a pod concept hotel. Design is nice but the capsules are very close to the launge area which makes it very difficult to have even a quiet chat because you can hear everything while in the capsule with the door closed. It can get pretty crowded on weekends. For the most part everyone is considerate noise wise, which makes the stay pleasant, but if you're very sensitive to noise it might not be the best option. Toilet and shower doors slamms extremely loud and it's located right outside the lay-down capsules. Good amount of toilets and showers, even at full capacity, cleanliness deteriorated rapidly (specifically toilets and sinks) toilet paper and soap was always available. Staff is nice, cordial and available 24/7. There's a few vending machines and a cooler with Hot\Cold water available. Wifi was mostly good, it did disconnect from time to time during our stay, but only for a few minutes. Simple, soft mattress. Standing capsule has a shelf to put stuff on and a cabinet under the bed. Lockers available and there's a luggage room too. Location is the best part by far! It's right on the boardwalk wih phenomenal views and Million dollar sunsets from both luange and deck (smoking area). Parking is a problem in that area only garage parking and very expansive daily rates. If you have a car\rental car keep that in mind. Important\usful tips: If you get a cab to the airport or anywhere MAKE SURE the meter is on or you get a set price for the trip!!! Yango and Gett are better options with set prices. If you get a scooter, beware! You're only allowed to use it on roadways, not on sidewalks or crossroads. Traffic inspectors are everywhere in TLV especially on the weekends and you'll be fined. Food&Coffee spots we loved within walking distance and open during the weekend! Locally roasted fresh coffee options - Mae Cafe (closed on Staurday)\Nahat Coffee Roastery Tamati - 8-10min. Burger joint - Prozdor (25min) usually busy, try to reserve ahead. Real, delicious Thai food - Thai House (22min) usully really busy, you might have to wait in line for a while. Ice cream - Stefan Austrian Bakery (20min).

Really enjoyed my stay here. The tall pods (although not tall enough to stand in) are very comfortable and have added features that allow for storage etc. The whole place is very clean, the staff are very helpful, and the location is great.

  • 5/5 imjoshuander 1 year ago on Google
Ideally located just in front of the public beach and it's accessible to public transportation, the capsule are comfortable and clean, the hostel is well maintained and friendly staff. Especially Khalid who always give me sugar for a coffee 😂. Highly recommended if you're in Tel aviv for a day or two! Till next time.

  • 3/5 Josh K. 1 year ago on Google
For what it is it’s very good, the pods are quiet and secure and they have a nice view. It’s slightly better than a hostel but ultimately it is a shelf in a human filing cabinet. But it’s very cheap so that’s nice. And the shared facilities are clean. Right on the beach and good view from the balcony.

BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THIS PLACE! It's a shame that I have to post a negative review for this place. First the positive things & minor issues: The place itself is brand new and very well designed with a beautiful sea view and excellent common areas. The bathrooms are very nice as well and the pods are well equipped. The smaller pods are stacked into two rows. Getting into upper pods is a bit tricky and might be very difficult or impossible for those with reduced mobility. The ventilation inside the pods is slightly noisy and might disturb light sleepers (I had no issues with it). The lockers for backpacks / suitcases might be too small for those travelling with larger amounts of luggage. The reason for the negative review is that the hotel charged my credit a second fare without any reason on the day of my departure without my consent or knowledge. I only noticed this a few weeks afterwards when going through my credit card bills. I immediately contacted the hotel and asked them to return the money they had taken from me unauthorised. They gave a short reply to my initial e-mail and said that they would "look into this issue". However, they didn't do anything and even stopped replying to my subsequent messages. I only managed to get my money back when I finally wrote them a lengthy message threatening with all kinds of actions if they didn't return the money they had taken from me. I never got any kind of explanation why such a thing had happened in the first place so it is impossible for me to say whether this unpleasant episode was due to some kind of a mistake or whether it was a deliberate attempt on their behalf to make some extra money. Therefore I would consider twice before giving this establishment access to your credit card and if you choose to do so, please check carefully the billing after your departure (I would not have noticed anything if I hadn't happened to scrupulously examine my credit card bills).

  • 2/5 Angéline F. 1 year ago on Google
The best thing about this place is the location, the price and the communal areas. All and all the space is very poorly designed regarding fonctionnality. There is no proper ventilation system in the pods and it gets humid and hot inside. The floor in front of the pods is impossible to walk on without shoes as it is perforated metal and hurts your feet and there is no space for shoes inside. Everytime you get out of the pod there is a risk to bang your head on a sharp piece of metal. Most of the stuff was rude and made me feel unwelcomed and people's personal belongings were disappearing all the time. All the images you see before booking are computer generated not real photos, thus the pods were looking bigger than they were in reality. Those are only some of the few things I noticed. I understand this is a new place and mostly counts on the fact it's cheap but there is a lot of work to be done to be able to call it a hotel.

  • 4/5 Ole F. 2 years ago on Google
For me it was perfect. Better than a hostel, cheaper than a hotel- just 1 person working there could have been a little kind, maybe didn t knew working as a service worker

  • 5/5 Fredrik O. 1 year ago on Google
Very good concept. The pods are big enough to sleep and very quiet. I didn't hear anythinf going on outside. You get a locker for the bag. Nice social area. Clean and modern. And good value for money.

  • 4/5 Giorgia S. 1 year ago on Google
Clean and amazing view from the waiting room. I expected to be more comfortable. The locker were far from the pod, so it makes the reaching of personal stuff a bit uncomfortable. The shower are clean but there is not so much space to change inside and for the man no bench or hanger to leave personal objects or clothes.
