Bauhaus? Sh!thouse more like. The only connection between this place and a Bauhaus building is that at one time every Bauhaus building was once a building site. This place still is. Read the other reviews and please believe them. They asked for payment in cash upon arrival. That should have been the first hint that things were not going to go well. 300 Shekels for this dump on a noisy junction? They say they are "gay friendly" and yet when two men show up they ask them whether they want two rooms. This place isn't anyone-friendly. Stay away.

very bad hotel, not clean at all, old beds, bad service. the location is perfect but you really do not , do not, do not, want to stay in this place. better to sleep in the street. Will be disgusting to have a shower here. even homeless would prefer to be somewhere else. save yourself the time, the money, and the nerve, and stay somewhere else.

I stayed here several years ago...sounds like it is even worse than before. I asked at many hotels and all were full. I was desperate! There was only one room left next to the cleaners storage room. It was wall-to-wall bed with nowhere to put my luggage. The glass shower was in the room and miniscule. The bathroom was barebones and had an unfinished floor. Overpriced. But the worst was the rude guy at the desk! He was unbelievable. I stayed in hotels for 2.5 years while going around the world...and never experienced someone so arrogant and openly rude. Tel Aviv left a bad impression on me-- partly due to this horrible man and overpriced room.

Absolutely a scam. The credit card machine wasn't working when we showed up so we needed to pay in cash. He didn't even tell us this was happening before we came in so I needed to run around looking for an ATM. The rooms were not at all what is shown in the website. Noisy, the bathroom was disgusting, and the windows wouldn't close properly. Heating also wasn't working. Do not stay here.

Stressful experience. I paid for a room here (under the hotel name 'Emanuel Inn') with points from my credit card; when I showed up, they said I needed to pay again upfront. We spent a while arguing about it but the more time I spent there, the more my instincts told me to get out. The lobby is a mess, the door doesn't stay shut (they were holding it shut with some wire), it was dark and dingy and seemed completely empty. I didn't see any rooms, perhaps they are nice.

Worst hotel I have ever been to. STAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM THIS HORRIBLE "HOTEL". Front desk worker was a sleep on the counter as we came in and it took us 5 minutes to wake him up, the hotel ,is not what it looks in the pictures, there is no lobby or terrace to seat in no coffe station in the room as mentioned, decor is very out dated, the stream in the bathroom was super slow and weak we could not thake a normal shower and there was no hot water only lukewarm. the phone in the room did not work, there was no towel service. The worst part is that the hotel is going through renovation that the front desk failed to mention when we booked the room - there was no view, all of our wintows were covered and it felt like hell - at 10 am we were sleeping and the workers started drilling in the room next to us until we called front desk that assured us the night before that no one will be working in the morning on the renovation. one of the workers also opened our door in the evening and let himself in because he said he wanted to paint the door. in any way, STAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL!

The worst ever what can happen with you in Tel Aviv. Please do not book and pay for this disaster, only if you would like to have rude stuff, dirty and smelly rooms, and reparation 24 hour next to your door, they charge you before showing rooms, so you cannot escape any more. Please someone escalate to tourism ministry.why this can even exist as a hotel, no stars -6. simply the worst.
