It was my last day in Accra and I wanted to see the cape coast castle. I contacted them at mid night. They got back to me and picked me up by 08:30 am. I went to the castle and came crack before 4 pm with extra time before my flight departure. Kofi was my tour guide and he was very flexible and customized the tour to accommodate my rush hours need. I will definitely use their service again whenever I go back to Ghana 🇬🇭

Nyonkopa's services provided were excellent!!! Beginning with my initial inquiry - Kweku was responsive and detailed regarding what to expect. I also inquired about a customized tour to participate in a West African Dance class and he swiftly made the arrangements. Fast forward to the 2 days of touring I signed up for: including the Accra City tour on Day 1 and the Cape Coast, Elmina Castle and Kakum National Park tour with the amazing Clement on Day 2. Clement was timely, knowledgeable and protective of my mentee and myself while introducing us to the local culture. Clement professionally served as driver, teacher, photographer, planning manager, advisor and all around awesome human being. I wouldn't think of using any other team whenever I am in Ghana. The team is outstanding and I feel like I have made life-long friends in them. Nyonkopa, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! May your business continue to grow exponentially as you maintain the integrity in which you all operate. God Bless You.

We did a whole-day Cape Coast tour which included Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Castle, and Elmina Castle. Mr. Isaac was very professional, friendly, patient, and courteous with us. He picked us up at our hotel in Accra, took us to all the attractions at Cape Coast, and brought us safely back to our hotel, all the while being very engaging and knowledgeable...and he takes great pictures too!!!...lol...The Company is also very easy to communicate with and their payment options are very convenient. Overall, we had a smooth, easy time with them. Would 10/10 recommend it!!!

I completed the canopy walk at Kakum National Park, and I visited Elmina Castle and Cape Coast Castle with Isaac as a tour guide. Everything was easy and straightforward from booking the trip until the end of the day. The company confirmed pick up time and place, and Isaac picked me up from my hotel and dropped me off there at the end of the day. Right away I felt comfortable with Isaac. He was kind, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the local areas and the attractions. Any questions I had, Isaac had answers. He made sure that if I needed anything he would be able to take care of it. Isaac encouraged me to do the full canopy walk and kindly took photos for me, which I am very glad to have. Isaac took care of all the fees for the park and the castles - which came with their own local guides - and he accompanied me through everything. Isaac's timing was perfect as we arrived at Kakum before it was very hot outside, and we got to the castles before bigger tour groups and could see them without having to wait for a big group. He was patient with me and looked after me very well. I would highly recommend booking this tour.

We spent two official tour days with Kweku and everything met our needs! The Accra City Tour and Day tour to Ada were amazing! Being able to customize the experience to our needs helped! Kweku was easy to communicate with, his prices are very reasonable and he and his driver made sure we were safe throughout our journey. We will definitely utilize these services again!

I did a fabulous half-day fantasy coffin tour with Kweku with a friend. Kweku was a great guide and went out of his way to make sure that the trip was as good as possible. Before the tour, he communicated over WhatsApp and was very responsive to any queries we had. We visited the original fantasy coffin workshop and Kweku made sure that we got as much as possible out of the visit, prompting when there were extra things about the coffins that would be interesting to know and making sure we saw everything. We then went to the Artists Alliance Gallery which was a great place both to look at Ghanian artworks and crafts and also to buy a few souvenirs (without having to barter as everything had clear price tags!). The trip finished with a walk along the beach. Kweku also made a point of pointing out other sights in Accra along the way so it felt like we got two tours for the price of one! He added little extras like buying us his favourite street food and dropping us off a good restaurant for fufu at the end of the trip. In addition to this, he was like our own personal photographer/videographer for the day so we got lots of pics and videos to remember the trip by! Very highly recommended!

We visited Accra and Cape Coast for the first time and found Nyonkopa Eco Tours after researching for our trip. Kweku was very responsive, and super flexible in helping us create and customize a trip itinerary during our stay which spanned Accra and Cape Coast. Nyonkopa is a local Ghanaian owned and run tour company! We were hoping to visit Accra with a guide, but wanted to avoid being part of a big tour group, so working directly with Kweku through the booking and tour process was ideal. The tours of Accra City, Jamestown and Makola Market were stunning and powerful. Kweku provided background and history on the spaces we visited, and we were thankful to be able to navigate to each location with an experienced driver behind the wheel! Thank you Isaac! We would highly recommend the Beading workshop at Cedi Beads and the Batiking workshop if you’re in the Cape Coast area. Both offered the opportunity to support family owned factories, and the chance to learn from these artists to make your own piece to take home. We created our own glass bead necklaces on our 10 year anniversary! The traditional Ghanaian food class was another special experience we would encourage folks to add to their list of things to get into! Thank you Nyonkopa team for a memorable stay! We’ll be back!

1 year ago I made an Accra Tour with the guide. He was extremely friendly, everything was interactive and he made sure that I'd take a lot of photos home. CAN RECOMMEND 100% :) Greetings from Germany!

We had a great experience with Isaac on the Cape Coast. He is a great driver (which isn't easy in Accra traffic). He even picked a great spot for a late lunch by the seashore.

This is a tour you have to take if you are in Accra! I was so impressed with Christian and his professionalism. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. One of the people in our group needed to rest. Christian not only keep an eye on her but he also hailed a taxi so that she didn’t have to walk back to the bus. The bus was nice and smooth and had air conditioning. He even took us to this great restaurant. The food was delicious! Having a fun and attentive tour guide was such a relief. I wish we had found this tour earlier in our trip and we would have gladly paid for more tours. Thanks Christian.

I had a great day. The tour was exactly what I wanted. I learnt more about Ghana, visiting historical sites and museums. Really enjoyable visit to Makola market too. Kweku was a great host buying local snacks and drinks to try - all delicious. He was so accomadating taking me to an Art Galkery I wanted to visit. It was easy to book and I liked that we messaged by WhatsApp beforehand. It was a very safe and comfortable tour.

My experience in Ghana was phenomenal because of the expertise, professionalism, and service of Christian Ansong and Goodfriend Eco Tours. From the beginning, Christian helped us plan a personalized adventure that encompassed the history, beauty, and culture of Accra and Elmina. Christian was beyond flexible and accommodating when we missed our original flight. He ensured that all of our excursions and activities were rebooked. The entire trip, I felt safe with Christian and his crew. They were intentional about making us feel welcome. I highly recommend Christian and Goodfriend Eco tours for your Ghana adventure.

This tour was amazing! I am a solo traveler in Ghana and wanted to sightsee while here. I booked Nyonkopa Ecotours and it was the best. Kweku was great he not only gave me history of Accra but gave me a look into the culture as well. He never left my side and gave me a great sense of security as a woman like a good friend. The tour felt so personalized and made me fall in love with Accra even more. If you want an authentic tour/experience of Ghana please book with them you won't be disappointed!

My tour with Nyonkopa Eco Tours was fantastic!! Kweku (the company's manager) was highly knowledgeable about Ghana and its history, and I learned a lot throughout my day with him. Kweku was also extremely accommodating throughout the tour - even though there was a suggested itinerary for the day, he was willing to tailor it throughout to ensure I was able to see everything around Accra that I was most excited about. I hope to be back to Ghana again someday, and if so will be sure to go on another tour with Nyonkopa Eco Tours!
