Best beach in Accra...

Enjoyed my stay at Accra Ghana

La pleasure beach is a place to relax especially during the week days as it gets very busy on the weekends. It's less hectic and harassment from vendors and sellers is less compared to the weekends. The beach is dirty with all kinds of waste piled up at some portions of the beach making it an eyesore. The gentle breeze from the sea and the waves makes you feel relaxed and calm amidst the music blasting and the several activities happening all around. You will however find some decent food like fried yams with chicken or tilapia at an okay price.

As far as beaches go this place could do better. The beach is dirty. Noticed a lot of trash as I was waking along. However there is a good variety of places to eat and drink as you soak in the sea breeze. There are also a lot of wares on display by traders but they can become a bother if you are just looking for a quiet time.

I always make sure to visit La Pleasure Beach whenever I am in Ghana. It is a place that has a great atmosphere, lots of music, food, drinks and best of all the wonderful sea. The day I went was Easter Monday, and it was extremely busy. It did not take long for us to get in. We had to purchase tickets at the entrance, and we received free drinks on entry. There are numerous people trying to direct you to a table, but there is lots of choice. Once seated, vendors selling various things will approach you to buy something. A simple refusal will normally suffice. La Pleasure Beach is an institution, and not having visited for more than three years, I was not disappointed on my return. I will definitely be coming back as always. Highly recommended.

When you get to the labadi beach, look for the Yellow umbrellas 😉 , it's right after the blue. La Pleasure Beach. I like the services of this place and the view of the beach from the rooftop. Customer service is on point. Waiters ( Ishmael) are very friendly and have good communication. My fav of the menu is the fried yam , shredded chicken and salad all together in a plate. 😍 you should try this. 😋. Most importantly for me, I love to do the quad bike 😁

I don't know why they're charging 15ghc as entrance fee apart from the fact that the beach is fairly clean. I suggest that there shouldn't be a flat rate for all persons... Instead, should be a difference in fee between Ghanaians and foreigners

I like relaxing by the beach and eating the fried yam and chicken at labadi beach. Entrance fees changes on weekends, holidays and during the festive seasons. Weekdays is 5gh and night time is 10gh. The beach is fairly neat and safe. The sunsets are beautiful

Perfect beach to relax and have fun with family and friends. I enjoyed every minute. Go order a stake and get horse rides.
