This is a great place to be during the raining season, wonderful landscape...I use to go fishing for tilapia and mudfish. Farming is great using the tractor and tilling with the hand made hoe. During the dry season, you get the privilege to see first hand how salt forms naturally. Get time to visit for a fun filled moments.

This is an environmentallly sensitive area. It is the second largest wetland after the Bia wetland in the western region of Ghana. Portions of the songor lagoon serve as a major source of livelihood for indigens of Ada who mine salt. The lagoon is also home to a number of species. Great place !!
