the most beautiful lake in ghana, by a country mile. this scenic lake, created by a meteor cratering on to the earth, boasts fantastic views and is ideal for picnics and the like.

It’s a shame this potential tourist and recreational grounds is only good for weeds. Once a while, ceremonies are held here though. If only the grounds could be given a befitting face lift so it serves its original purpose and becomes useful once again. But I still believe all hope isn’t lost yet. Let’s do the right thing.

This place is basically a deserted wasteland now. All the trains are rusted. The gates are rusted. All the seesaws and the fun items are covered with grass and weeds. It's sad seeing this place like that. No activity going on. Just overgrown trees and nothingness.

Ghana we need to change our maintenance culture, this once vibrant and beautiful park is now a shadow of it's self and has rather become a safe haven for criminals around the national theater traffic light

The biggest and only natural lake in Kumasi and Ghana . Its situated within an ancient impact crater that is about 10 kilometers in diameter. It is one of the liveliest places during any occasion in Kumasi and Ashanti. Very popular recreational area with lots of hotels and resorts ,there are even ranches there .

This location tends to be quiet and sparsely populated on weekdays, as there is minimal activity. However, it can become lively during weekends or when events are held.

With not so well kept infrastructure, the place is open to the general public. The place, however, has a serene atmosphere for events including wedding and engagements. You’ll love it there if you need a place to go on a picnic with your family, thank me later😌

Big land which is under utilized. Opposite Kempinski Hotel and World Trade Center. Everything is out of service there and you can’t even get a decent drink to buy on a normal unless you go to restaurant ( Park View Restaurant) near by It now used for Car 🚘 parking most of the time.

"I had an absolute blast playing paintball at the Efua Sutherland Children's Park in Accra! The paintball arena was well-designed and had plenty of obstacles and hiding spots to make the game more exciting. The equipment provided was in great condition and the staff were very helpful in explaining the rules and ensuring that everyone played safely. The pricing was very reasonable and it was great value for money considering the amount of fun I had. Overall, I highly recommend the paintball arena at the Efua Sutherland Children's Park for anyone looking for an exciting and adrenaline-fueled activity in Accra."

Great location, reasonable land space for this to model as a modern children's park in the capital and to be copied from in the rest of the city, districts and the regions. If we can crowdfund a national cathedral, why not this? We should all remember the children are our future. Yes, we can do this for them.

Used to be a great pace for relaxing and social gathering for kids, and adults but unfortunately the place has been left to rot. There's nothing there for the kids to play with. But you can have a sit there and relax whilst watching the cars passed by from the main road

A brilliant space with huge potential. Alas it has largely fallen into minimal maintenance and most if not all the features have been shut down or discontinued. Still a fantastic place to enjoy the greenery without the hustle an bustle of city life in spite of the proximity of the main roads. The paintball games are good fun especially if you have a good group to game with.

A lot more could be done on the tourism point of view , proper tour guide..don’t even want to start .

Great view, and lovely ambience for a picnic. But usual with tourist haunts, locals around trying to twist your arm out of your resources - tilapia here more expensive than Accra! The boat ride's 50 for a group for a 15 min spin for those who value same. Road to the place is only half-good though (and I'm being nice)

I felt sad using this place yesterday. I must commend them however for maintaining a neat washroom but the compound has not seen any development since I last visited. It should be offloaded for a private person to operate as a children play group with such land size when commercialised will serve the nation well by generating income and also making available some quality play toys or equipements for children

It was a sight to behold, though not too much changes has taken place. It's a cool environment in the heart of Accra

A dead place crying for help to be renovated to serve as a place of relaxation for both kids and adult. We wait to see it happen

One of the few green spaces in Accra. A great lost opportunity to provide a sanctuary for workers in the CBD to relax, very few activities organised for children each year

The park looked unkempt...the organizers did a good job of making the place nice and habitable😁. The park itself needs some work as it doesn look like it's being looked after properly . Overall it's a good space and had a good time at the waakye party with Jameson.

The place is right in the middle of Accra. There's so much potential for use but unfortunately, it is underutilized and the premises is almost run down from lack of care.
