At first sight, The Palms is a beautiful place till you get closer. Place needs a bit of facelift. Maintenance culture needs help. The food portions aren’t sizable enough and tasted okay. Nothing mind blowing. Service wasn’t bad. Waiters were kind and helpful. The beach and ocean water was full of rubbish though.

The palms is a very nice spot, the food mmmmmm you don't want to miss that for anything. But you guys need to be more focused on the cleaning in the rooms. Also the chairs outside are dirty and dusty. Please work on prompt room service. I have been to the palms twice and it's always the same. I am planning to visit on my next vacation.

Nice place away from the hustle and bustle. A little renovation will go a long way to attract and retain more people. Will recommend anyways if you want a beach front not too expensive and quiet.

Didn't stay at the hotel, so can't comment on that but we visited for an afternoon of poolside chill. Turned out the place is the favourite hangout for the local boys. They brought their stereo system and practically took over the place. Staff didn't seem to mind, on the contrary. Towards the evening, some stripped to their boxers and had a dip in the pool. How nice it must be to have a great hangout like that but this place is neither a resort nor a retreat.

My family spent the past Christmas weekend at The Palms. The place was clean, but could do with a bit of sprucing up. Food was just ok, but service was extremely slow. The staff however were kind and accommodating, and overall we enjoyed our stay.

My experience here was actually quite nice. The drive to the location is mostly relaxing. About 94% of the road to the location is really good. There is only a small portion from the main road to the actual location that isn't tarred but very manageable for a wide range of vehicles. The environment here is quite serene even though quite a number of people visit here. They have rooms for those who want to sleep over. Despite the lack of a beach front to take a walk on and the dirt in the sea and it's surroundings, the actual resort is quite nice. They have some fun facilities like a swimming pool, table tennis area, an archery area, a mini soccer field with little poles and a very tiny mini golf course ⛳️. This makes the place a little more interesting. Parking is quite ample and can take about 15 vehicles. The food was quite good too. I did enjoy the sweet potato chips which were very crunchy. Their pork chops was nice but a little too salty. Their yam chips wasn't crunchy and wasn't extraordinary. Their tilapia was also just ok. The price of the food is somewhere in between. Its a little pricier than what you will get in the neighboring resorts. The service is quite good as the waiter was attentive, friendly and welcoming. In summary, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a place to chill out with friends.

I chose this place because of the attractive Instagram pictures but I was sooo... disappointed when I got there. The Instagram pictures are over colourised and staged. The place looks totally rundown, poor maintenance. The pool was dirty, beach front ( nothing to call a beach, just rocks) dirty as well. All the recreational equipment you see on Instagram are no longer functional or worn out. The staff are friendly but the facility is overwhelmingly understaffed. The place is not worth the value. Wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for an out of town vacation experience. PS: room was infested with mosquitoes. They provided us with mosquito spray though upon request.

We dined. Food options great. Food tasted very nice indeed. The bar man served us well being both professional and friendly at the same time. The waitress on the other hsd ended up with one of the guests ear pods. She packed it away without informing any of her colleagues. When we asked about it, no-one knew anything about it. We drove back when we realised it was missing. We asked for her and she went to where she hid it and gave the bar man to return to us. Why did she not inform anyone that she found them? We will go back but will be aware of this waitress.

Tropical paradise on the Eastern coast of Ghana. Nice ambiance, overlooking the sea. Best place to get away from all the noise and cool off.

Made a quick stop here to get some food . Wait time is long -takes a while before anyone attends to you. Food prices are reasonable and tasted good . The pictures uploaded by property on here were a little deceptive though

I visited the resort for lunch on New Year’s Eve. The view is beautiful but the experience was extremely underwhelming and definitely disappointing. Firstly the resort is in dire need of a facelift; dirty pool, old furniture, rotting planks, dead grass, chipped plate. The service was below average, there was no music for such a festive season. Food was tasteless and took too long with restricted menu options. The beach is really clean but is not easily accessible to guests. However if you are brave enough to walk over the rocks, there’s a flat sandy area right next to the Palms where you can enjoy the beautiful clear ocean.

Very beautiful place, not the typical sandy beach, bit rocky. But absolutely stunning. I loved it and the food was amazing

Maintenance of the restrooms near the pool is of low standard. Reception area needs to be cleaned and dusted as well

The location is quiet & serene. The road needs to be developed. The staff is helpful & accommodating when possible. The rooms need renovation, sooner than later. The food is overpriced for the portions you get. You will have to eat outside the property, to get better value for your money. Breakfast was good tho! πŸ‘πŸΎ

Lots of potential but not there yet. Great rooms, modern and well designed. Good staff. There's barely any signage to direct you from town. Beach is not as scenic or well kept as one would expect. Not your place if you're going for a beach scene. Showers in my room wouldn't flow when it came time to bath. Eventually we had to change rooms but my view is that this problem could have been avoided if someone did their checks. Also, the compound could have been better kept with old furniture lying around on the lawn and the bar was ran down. Also, there's not much to do so not the place for a long getaway if you like activity. The masseuse is great though. You'll enjoy that. Not bad but could be so much better.

All the structures of the hotel is old and not maintained, stingy smell in the hotel corridors, table tennis table is broken, pool table is broken, golf course is not maintained, swimming pool was not cleaned till afternoon. Beach in front was dirty and not cleaned. Not worth the price you can use your money on different premises and can enjoy alot

If you're looking for a quiet place to get away for a few days with fun activities to do, then The Palms is for you. It's a hotel, and a lot of hotels or airbnb's don't offer great entertainment from my little experience. Yes, some things need a little maintenance like the archery bows and golf course and the sliding door in our room, as well as the issue of the air conditioner not being able to cool our room properly in the day because of the sun that comes in through the top window, it did cool really well as soon as the sun went down, but I think maybe a more powerful AC can help or a way to reduce sunlight coming in, but in general, the place is functional and well kept. If you love a rustic and modern design, then you'll love the architecture and the rooms. I've never been to a hotel with so many pillows arranged neatly on the bed, I couldn't resist recreating the layout whilst I was there, it was beautiful to see and the bed was solid. The deluxe room has warm lights to give a nice ambiance at night and the bathroom spacious with a nice design and the hot water shower was superb. TV was not only working in the room, but connected to DSTV, we were able to watch a couple of films. And the WiFi was working very well. The best thing about the room to me is sleeping and waking up to the peaceful sound of the sea, make sure you go early morning to watch the sun rise if that's your thing. The beach is not for swimming as it has rocks but it was still beautiful to sit at the deck and watch the sun rise and the waves do their thing. There were proper living rooms you could hang out in, with books and magazines to read. I wish I had stayed for a week so I could actually start a novel. And the games we tried, Archery, Mini golf, Fooseball, Table Tennis, the snooker table not so much, were all really fun to play. Plus the extra entertainment, interacting with some Bunnies by the golf course. Also look out for the other animals in little ponds if they are still there when you go. Not to forget the pool, it was clean, not big enough for a water baby like me but it did the job of refreshing the mind. We spent a lot of time swimming and enjoying the cool water in the afternoon, evening, and when the sun rose, all different atmospheres. We went on a Monday to avoid the weekend jam as we wanted a quiet stay. If you like the buzz, then going in the weekend will be great. The staff in general were friendly and prompt with their service. Food was served in good time and the breakfast man, there are more options than just an English breakfast which was really good. Served with enough bread, and vegetables. The food in general was really good and we were happy with our choices. Great value for money. πŸ‘πŸΎ

Amazing view with a nice view of the sea. Place gets cold at night so remember to dress appropriately if you can’t stand the cold.

Calm and quiet place, very neat environment. I liked the fact that their pool was also less crowded, clean and the chlorine content was just right. They can however add a variety to their menu as there wasn't so much, as well as give people the option to choose their breakfast. And they should get their portion of the main beach a tad cleaner than what it is. Otherwise, a nice place I would love to visit again. ... and oh their Staff were professional too. Great place away from the Accra noise, to relax and breath some fresh air.

One of the best getaway destinations in Ghana. I really had fun. There was no swim guard around so my little brother and sister couldn't swim

Really good experience. Serene environment and the staff are friendly. Facilities were good. Definitely room for improvement (in terms of availability of food items stated on menu and issues with cleaning of the pool). Absolutely recommend for individuals, families and groups of friends. The experience is worth every cedi spent.

πŸ‘ The resort is not difficult to find. It’s right off the main road. The Concierge (Delight) was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible.
