It was a fantastic day with the monkeys. Beautiful national park with more than 1000 monkeys. Very peace full and great idea. Not so easy to go there but definetely worth it. Monkeys are friendly and you can feed them in your hand.

People normally asked is there accommodation to stay overnight? Yes there is Guest House there. And the road is under construction, which hopefully by the end of the year 2017. There will be better road to Boabeng

Not the easiest site to travel to, but once you're there you won't regret it. Buy some bananas and nuts before you get there. Your're more likely to attract more of the monkeys that way.

It's amazing how these monkeys live in harmony with the people of Boabeng Fiema. The forest is also well kept and our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent experience. The place needs to be advertised more as most people are unaware of such a great place to visit. They need more sponsorship to develop the place with restaurants and possible hotels. Please help them if you can. Great staff

Is a historic place, they have two species of monkeys, the brown, and the black with White fluffy hairy chest, there is a walk way where by people pass, non of these monkeys cross to each side,if any monkey made a mistake to trespass to other breed, they fight. They have their own cemetery they been buried. Very historic place to visit.

Highly recommended to visit this place. The monkeys live in the community and are really well looked after. The benefits from the tourism goes directly to the community and they've got a nice project to widen the forest planting trees while supporting the education of their children.

We really enjoyed our stay at the monkey sanctuary. But be careful with feeding the monkeys!! The accomodation was really nice and the cooking lady asks what you want to eat and prepares it for you. Everyone was really friendly and the grounds are really clean. In the morning we did a walkig tour to see the monkeys. We bought some bananas and peanuts. In the beginning we couldn‘t find a lot of monkeys but in the end there were so many. Unluckily, my friend got bitten by a monkey while feeding them. What the guide did tell us only in the end was that there were two different families and we were standing on the border of the two territories, so they were fighting against each other for the food. So we had to go to hospital and get a rabbies shot. Luckily my friend was already vaccinated, so she „only“ needed a shot on the same day and 3 days after. What we didn‘t like was that they didn‘t tell us about the two families in the first place or that they didn‘t take care that we feed them in a safe area. Also after the bite they didn‘t really care for it or took care of the wound. But otherwise they were really friendly and the forest is just amazing! Even my friend got bitten we would both totally recommend it. The travel there is not the most comfortable one but for me it was the most beautiful scenery!

Kintampo waterfalls is one of the highest waterfalls in Bono East of Ghana. Also known as Sanders Falls during the colonial days, it is located on the Pumpum river, a tributary of the Black Volta, about 4 kilometres north of Kintampo municipality, on the Kumasi–Tamale road.

Our visit to the Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary was a truly worthwhile experience, despite the deplorable condition of the road leading to the main tourist attraction. If you have access to a four-wheel drive vehicle, it’s advisable to use it for the journey. The friendly Mona monkeys are a delightful encounter, and with a stroke of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of black and white colobus monkeys. Our tour guide was not only friendly but also well-versed in the history of the tourist site and the town in general.

The place is very lovely people's in the community play with the monkeys. There's a forest reserve for the monkeys where nobody is allowed to farm, cut a tree or hunt in it. Before you enter the forest the guards will brief you history on the forest and how the monkeys came to existence. Students, organizations, individual or group can visit the place.

Love here too. The canopy walkway addition is a plus. The mystery stone needs to be publicised more. The walking trails to the Stage 1 and 2 can be improved with river pebble designed pavement. I hear a zip line is in the offing.... That would be great.
