Terrazzo
Junction
is
the
next
junction
after
leaving
the
Methodist
Junction
when
travelling
from
Tema
reconstructed
multi-interchangeable
to
Dawhenya
through
to
Aflao.
It
is
the
last
junction
to
Dawhenya
and
is
fast
becoming
another
danger
spot,
next
to
it's
sister
junction,
the
Methodist
Junction.
It
has
become
a
busy
spot
both
for
Commercial
drivers
who
alight
and
pick
passengers
to
and
from
work/market.
Shops
and
road-side
markets
are
mushrooming
along
the
sides
of
the
junction,
making
driving
and
crossing
of
the
junction
by
drivers,
pedestrians
and
other
road
users
all
through
the
day,
especially
early
in
the
rush
hour
morning,
midday
and
in
the
evening,
very
dangerous.
Many
casualties
and
deaths
have
occurred
at
this
junction
due
to
speeding
vehicles
either
from
Aflao
or
Tema.
Motorists
and
pedestrians
are
therefore
advised
to
exercise
caution
when
reaching
this
spot.
Night
spots,
food
and
kebab
joints
have
also
started
springing
up
to
serve
workers
of
all
shades
who
have
closed
from
work,
either
wanting
to
take
a
glass
of
beer
or
tired
of
cooking.
An
urgent
caution
to
all
to
be
vigilant
and
to
keep
sharp
of
thieves
and
bag
snatchers.
