Had a lovely breakfast in the hotel's nice and cozy restaurant. My wife enjoyed an excellent omelette while I devoured a plate of fluffy pancakes. Our desert was cocktails in the hotel's bar. The cocktails were accompanied by plantain chips (my favorite snack). Great Wednesday morning all in all.

I’ve been here a number of times and I always enjoy their services. From the food to the staff! Their buffets are amazing! Especially on sundays! From the starter to the desert🤝always on point! Their washrooms are always very neat as well. Love the pool area too. Swimming fee is very affordable. The hotel is also wheelchair accessible . Covid protocols are highly observed.

I have been twice for their buffet dinner... Food has average taste and selection is extremely limited... Not a happy place and by no means full of people

I had visited for their Sunday brunch. Brunch is from 11:30am to 4pm and cost Ghc250 per person. It came with complimentary coconut and Sobolo. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Sobolo was. I would say the buffet had a wide variety of local and continental food. There was also a live cooking station where you could order stir fry (squid, fish, chicken, vegetables). The ice cream cone was the best dessert I had. Overall I would say it’s good value for money!

An afropolitan hotel in a perfect location in Accra. Less than 10mins from the airport by car and a stone throw from the Accra mall. Lots of entertainment and business centers within walking distance, but they also have a top notch restaurant serving both local, Asian and continental menus. There's a buffer breakfast and lunch and an à la carte in the lounge. Other facilities include a large swimming pool, gym, conference room, lounge for small meetings, outside bar and others that I'm probably not aware of😅. The staff are friendly, polite, kind and very welcoming. Beautiful, well-kept and spacious rooms. I definitely recommend this place for hotel stay, breakfast or dinner meeting, casual meetings, formal meeting...

My wife and I are from Chicago and it was our first time in Africa. We stayed at the African Regent for 10 days and it was a exceptional experience. Very friendly and accommodating staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Because of the length of time we were there, we received a room upgrade. Also, the restaurant had great Ghanaian food along with other dishes. We wanted the hotel to have an authentic African feel and it didn’t let us down. We also like to mention one staff who was so very helpful and pleasant; her name is Firdaus. Oh, I almost forgot, the hotel has great security and there is very talented piano player who plays We plan to return to Ghana and we will definitely stay at the African Regent Hotel. I loved The African Regent Hotel. The staff are amazing and very jovial. I arrived and we immediately had a complementary glass of fresh juice in my arms (I was sold). The rooms were also great. They have a gym too and a swimming pool (there were renovations so I didn't get to swim). Their breakfast is also great and I loved the restuarant meals. Definitely recommend, you will love it here.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel for first time visitors of Ghana. The customer service was sub par and the cleanliness of the hotel wasn't that great. I was met with a refreshing drink and warm welcome upon arrival, but that's the only delightful/memorable piece that's worth sharing. The breakfast buffet was okay, decent selection of local and western options.

Best restaurant in town, especially their food. Be sure to enjoy their signature stir-fry every time. And the ambience is welcoming. First dined at the African Regent in 2010 and I still go there every time I want to eat out.

The ambience was great with very welcoming staff. The place is great for a weekend getaway but in the middle of Accra with close proximity to Villagio and Accra Mall. Buffet was great but there was limited variety.

Exquisite African decor at entrance lobby. Cuisine - excellent; Hygiene - Very good. Washrooms are beautiful and well set up. Customer Services - good. Need hangers for Jackets in the washrooms and improve signages in the facility . Accessibility very good.

Happened to be here because flight was canceled. I needed that after midnight food and sleep and they delivered. The breakfast and lunch is great here don't miss it and don't do room service because the variety is worth seeing. Very friendly staff all around. If you're looking for a place in the airport area try this place. I recommend

This hotel has a great location, seemingly central between upscale and the other side of Accra. So uber is cheap to access all areas of interest and especially if you wanna hangout at night untill late. A 3 minute walk from Accra mall as well, making it very comvinent to go shopping at anyone time of the day, confident that you can walk back to the hotel. Lovely spacious rooms, friendly and welcoming staff. The Breakfast Buffet has a great selection of local foods with rice and stew, sausages, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and pastries. The only downside were the bed sizes, quite small compared to the prices. But overall it was good enough for my two stays, in March 2023 as well as June 2023. They also have a good swimming pool for the kids and adults, a spa with thai massage, a fully equipped gym, very good parking and a water fountain in the gardens where you can chill and relax in the evenings.

I love thé Sunday lunch.the place is not too big ; good for families. Customer service is great. Veronica was really nice and helpful.

My wife and I both found this hotel met our needs mostly. The things that stopped me awarding 5 stars. * Swimming pool area having building works carried out but still open to customers. We tried to use room service to order a simple tuna sandwich but was made to wait over 1 hour. After calling reception we were made to wait again while the order was eventually taken and delivered to our room. The staff member did offer an apology but we were still charged for room service. Mmm.🤔. The free airport shuttle was great and Bruce very helpful.

Had a really nice experience with this hotel. The rooms were very neat, house keeping was on point. The best part was the staff, always approaching you with smiles. I’m definitely coming back here with my whole family.

I stay at the African Regent Hotel, 2 weeks ago, Late November early December 2023. I really enjoyed the professionalism from Joseph (Front of House) and Veronica in the Restaurant. Also Kwame (Housekeeper). Very friendly, helpful, polite and made sure they helped out to the best of their ability and with a smile. Loverly people. It was loverly and I would stay again. My first night was excellent. I had breakfast just for the experience, because I'm not a breakfast person. I was seated at a table which had just been used, prior without cutting nor napkins. The waitress never return. I enjoyed my Ouellette and left dissatisfied.

Rooms are fantastic. Pool is good and also the food was awesome. However the staff can be little bit customer centric. They are too rigid. Prime location and you get a great feel when you are there

Went for regular Sunday dinner buffet. Food was good, variety very limited. Guess partly because of low patronage. Just average nothing spectacular in terms of ambience, taste and variety.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced, clean rooms which have comfortable beds and freshly renovated and modern bathrooms.The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good restaurant and facilities, good location. Close to airport, Accra Mall, Maxmart and restaurants.I highly recommend this hotel. 5 stars for great service and great location. 👌

beautiful lobby area and the food is pretty good. upon arrival you are given a glass of fresh juice which is nice. most of the workers are very polite. if slightly busy the wait for food can be a while. i often come to the lobby to sit and work. in the afternoons they play american country music so i put my headphones in to drown it out :). in the evenings there’s a live piano player and that’s nice. sometimes we stay a night or two and the rooms we’ve stayed in are nice yet simple. the doormen are always nice and greet you warmly.

Sorry!! One star is a stretch. First the air wasn’t working, day two….housekeeping 1/2 cleaned the bathroom but didn’t replace with ANY towels so we had to call and request. Then they delivered and said “no more face towels are available”. Then I called housekeeping to request a blanket and the front desk said “we only provide bed sheets”. Housekeeping left their dish detergent in our bathroom. I’m guessing they were distracted. The guest before us left their Guest Comment Form and no one thought enough to grab it and read for quality assurances. Honestly, I am quite disappointed and my stay isn’t over but I won’t be returning to this hotel when I visit again in November. The pictures aren’t what they appear. Work on some of these things and you’ll see a big difference.

The club room was spacious enough. WiFi was great. Choice of food was ok. The toilet/bathroom has no window but relies on a venting system. However, a part of your business does waft into the room. The AC in my room struggled to keep it cool (emphasis on cool, not cold), but I guess that was an isolated incident. Courteous (but of course, they are Ghanaians) staff. All round great place.

The serve yourself banquet was exquisite. The desert was quite on point though on a personal basis I expected a tad bit more. The waiters were also a bit slow in clearing up the table but that might have neen due to the fact that there was a large number of guest. But all in all, it deserves a 5 star

Oh my world, this place is beautiful and African with a sophisticated touch. I love the ambiance, their customer service is top notch with beautiful people, and the food is to die for. I tasted their dry fish light soup and oh you would love it. It’s a very nice place for your wedding receptions, birthday parties, Proposals, Get together , or booking to stay in a room, you will have a heaven on earth experience. Visit them and thank me later.

Services first class. Accessible location. Staff impeccably dressed and respectful, Cool and excellent African music at the background in the restaurant, both continental and local sumptuous local dishes available. Rate is also manageable.

Rooms Ok. Frontdesk staff friendly. Housekeeping was irregular and kitchen and dining staff were quite unfriendly. They also appeared to have issues with guest who decided to relax and enjoy breakfast

The room was very dark, only 2 low energy bulbs at the bed. No light at the desk. Tea and coffee were provided but not a kettle. No shampoo for the shower.
