This
concludes
my
final
review!
Despite
initial
concerns,
I’ve
grown
fond
of
this
hotel
after
three
nights;
trivial
issues
became
insignificant.
It
embodies
true
Ghanaian
(and
Japanese)
hospitality,
especially
noticeable
during
an
extended
stay.
Owned
by
a
Ghanaian
husband
and
Japanese
wife,
it
offers
a
unique
blend
of
advantages.
While
it
may
have
seen
grandeur
in
its
early
days,
the
aging
infrastructure
is
apparent,
yet
staying
here
feels
like
an
investment
in
Ghana’s
present
and
future.
Honest
Feedback:
Pros:
1. Outstanding
hospitality
from
all
staff
members,
including
the
pickup
driver,
bell
person,
reception,
maintenance,
and
housekeeping.
2. Spacious
room
equipped
with
essentials
like
a
fridge,
kettle,
shower/bath,
a
functional
desk,
and
a
table
with
two
chairs.
The
quiet
and
efficient
AC
is
possibly
thanks
to
Japanese
technology.
3. Beautiful
pool,
although
caution
is
needed
before
4:00
or
5:00
due
to
chemical
treatments.
4. Decent
food,
though
not
top-notch.
Areas
for
Improvement:
1.
Given
the
$120
per
night
price,
high
expectations
for
services
are
natural.
However,
managing
everything
in
Accra
might
pose
challenges.
2.
Despite
a
positive
past
experience,
recent
attempts
to
contact
the
hotel
directly
through
emails
and
the
website
yielded
no
response.
This
lack
of
responsiveness,
even
after
overseas
calls,
could
be
detrimental.
Please
check
this.
3.
The
initially
assigned
room
faced
a
noisy
street,
prompting
my
request
for
a
move
to
a
quieter
side,
which
took
30
minutes.
During
this
time,
I
encountered
issues
with
an
unstable
shower
head,
and
a
housekeeping
interruption
further
delayed
the
process.
Upon
explaining
the
situation
to
a
manager,
then
the
owner
intervened
(sincere
and
committed),
offering
a
room
in
the
process
of
being
fixed.
However,
this
room
had
a
broken
table
lamp
switch,
resulting
in
an
electrical
shock.

3.
The
following
inconvenience
involved
malfunctioning
bed
lights,
which
required
a
30-minute
wait
for
repair.
A
frustrated
housekeeper
later
revealed
the
mixed-up
switches,
connecting
bed
lights
to
“bar
lights”
and
the
“clean
up”
call
switch.

Despite
these
challenges,
But
all
issues
I
had,
I
promise
you
that
you
would
have
great
experiences
here,
please
talk
to
the
owner
and
his
wife,
to
discuss
any
concerns.
They
will
take
care
of
everything.
You
can’t
compare
this
place
with
all
us/European
chain
hotels.
But
please
believe
me
that
this
is
the
place
you
should
stay
to
see
Ghana,
still
have
a
great
memory
!
I
will
100%
return
w
my
reasonable
expectation
!
