Firstly,
I
don't
like
that
this
is
Chinese
owned
in
an
African
country.
I
spoke
to
a
Chinese
staff
member
who
told
me
he
didn't
speak
English..
I'm
wondering
(and
asked
them)
why
r
u
in
an
English
speaking
country
...owning
a
property
&
not
having
respect
to
speak
the
majority
language?
..
their
translator,
whom
he
fetched,
replied,
"Im
just
fine."
I
felt
that
response
was
arrogant
&
pompous
.
Secondly,
I
couldn't
stand
the
predominant
presence
of
whiteness
in
their
decor...
The
hotel
hosted
a
majority
of
Black
guests,
but
they
had
white
christmas
carols
playing
&
white
Santa
ALL
OVER
THE
PLACE!
It
was
disturbing
as
a
Black
American
experiencing
this
day
in
and
day
out.
They
tortured
us
with
this
until
Jan
3,
and
then
I
couldn't
take
it
anymore
and
had
to
complain!!!
They
finally
changed
it
a
day
later,
but
it
was
ridiculous
of
how
they
didn't
understand
representation
and
how
to
tailor
their
business
to
their
main
customer.
The
melanated
staff
was
AH-MAZING!!!!
Customer
service
is
A1!
Mercy,
Simon,
the
restaurant
&
bar,
concierge,
hospitality
&
other
staff
members
made
my
stay
comfortable
and
warm!
It
was
them
who
had
me
keep
my
reservation.
