I stayed at the La Villa Boutique Hotel for eight weeks in total and felt incredibly sad to leave, when the time arrived. The long stay was due to a work commitment in the city; one which necessitated also accommodating many colleagues at La Villa for varying amounts of time over the two months. Whether the stay was a few nights or several weeks, the service of the hotel staff was consistently impeccable every single time. Centrally located in Osu, within walking distance of the best bars, restaurants and nightlife Accra has to offer, La Villa has the feel of an extremely well-run guest house, but it’s a hotel. The property is huge and could probably accommodate a couple hundred rooms, but instead there are just over 40 rooms of various types and sizes, including a few fully-equipped apartments. Even the standard rooms are very spacious. The hotel has an intimate, home-away-from-home feel. The grounds are tropical and green which creates a gentle and peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant and swimming pool provide a wonderful entertainment enclave. The staff are intentionally well trained and their service is of the highest standard I’ve experienced almost anywhere. It’s hard not to notice their consistently kind, friendly, helpful and efficient demeanour throughout the various departments, from receptionists to restaurant staff to housekeepers and even security and groundsmen. I highly recommend this establishment for both short and long term stays.

The supervisor (Desmond)was rude and when I and my friends confronted him to let him know we were offended, he said he has no reason to apologize. It was our friend’s birthday so we actually came to celebrate. This is our last time though not to talk of recommending to friends or maybe when The services get better.

La Villa Boutique Hotel swept me off my feet with the nature vibe garden and pool combo. Complementary breakfast is delicious with varieties of food to choose from. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is well kept. I'd definitely stay here when next I visit Accra.

I stayed here while in Accra for a friends wedding and $400 was stolen from my room while the cleaner was in it. I reported to the front desk when I noticed and was assured they would review their security cameras and resolve the issue. However, the next morning they said they reviewed the cameras, didn't see anything, and attempted to pivot to accusing my sister who was by the pool while the cleaner was in the room / blaming me for not using the safe (which was showing low battery when we checked in). After I filed a police report and the police accompanied me there for investigation they admitted that their security cameras were not on and had been turned off during covid. The white owner accused me, a Nigerian American woman, of trying to commit 419 - a statement that was no doubt racially motivated - instead of properly questioning the cleaner. I have been traveling to various countries for over 10 years and this has never happened to me. Thankfully, this was not a monumental loss for me and I was able to move on with my life even though my trip was ruined partially due to the theft but mostly due to the racially motivated comments by the white owner. If you are a Black person visiting Accra or returning home to Accra, I would recommend you not stay at this hotel. I have voice recordings of these encounters as well as a police report.

Fantastic place! I visited with the business trip, would be too expensive to book for leisure. I enjoyed everything: room was spacious with view to the flowering trees, huge bed, tall mirror, comfortable wardrobe with the safe, big bathroom with shower. Places to chill around the pool are very nice and every visitor next to the pool is provided with mosquito spray which is very handy. On Thursdays is the movie night next to the pool! Breakfast is very tasty, fresh omelets can be requested. Cups to go can be requested. Fresh fruits were delicious. Selection is not huge, but still there is a choice and small variation day on day. Location is another plus, just few minutes from Oxford Street. I did not try any other food except for breakfasts. Shuttle bus from the airport is very comfortable, but needs to be ordered in advance. If you can't find it, just use airport WIFI and text the hotel via What's app. I can recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful rooms that are clean and spacious. The pool is very refreshing and the plants around it are beautiful, as is the rest of the property. The staff is kind and attentive. The breakfast selection is great. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Accra.

I had the pomodoro pasta with grilled chicken breast and honestly I didn’t enjoy the pasta sauce. However, my friends ordered the grilled tilapia and it was so good. She couldn’t get enough of it. Absolutely 10/10. I had the virgin oasis cocktail and it was an absolute delight. Loved it. Food prices here are a bit expensive do you might wanna bare that in mind. The ambience was great. They have an indoor and outdoor sitting area with a swimming pool. Overall, I had a great time

I enjoyed my time at La Villa Boutique. I had a 1 bedroom apartment which was clean and super spacious! Complimentary water was offered every day alongside cleaning service. Breakfast is good and the service very welcoming. I also had dinner at the restaurant twice and it was great - try the home made ravioli!! Just bear in mind that the hotel is close to the airport so airplanes can be heard at night quite loudly. The hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle if booked directly on their website, otherwise it’s 15 USD.

They have one of the best burgers in Accra. I enjoyed their tilapia as well, it was well marinated. Jollof too was on point... I guess compliments to the chef.

Poor service. First the waiter said they were out of lemon and so they couldn’t get us our mojito. We asked to see the manager and we were told he’s busy. For over 30 minutes we sat waiting and no one attended to us or tried selling us anything else. Really disappointing. And especially when we made a reservation in advance!

I was absolutely pleased that mosquito repellent (very effective too) was available on every table. The calamari was palatable and I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken wings. Washroom was quite neat. Staff were polite. I will suggest that the managers invest in mosquito repelling plants too.

Was there to watch a movie around the pool. Environment was serene. All guests from gatekeeper to waiters were very polite. Price of food and drinks were relatively moderate. I would recommend sitting inside the bar to avoid mosquitoes bite.

Dont be fooled by photos. There's something wrong at heart of this hotel, management doesn't care about guests except for their money. Had two rooms, one smelt very bad, bad design so dark/ pokey, long list of broken things in both rooms, no safe in 1, poor wifi, bathroom issues, & breakfast a disgrace, some staff are good/trying hard, others diffident. have travelled in Africa, so have just comparisons. Essentially the pool surrounds pretty, the vibe is just wrong. I felt UNwelcome.

The hotel is wonderful and we have returned again and again. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Lounging by the pool is one of the most serene, pleasant experiences we have had, which is remarkable, since the hotel is located in the bustling, exciting neighborhood of Osu. How wonderful to have this little slice of paradise surrounded by some of the most exciting places Accra has to offer.

A great place to relax. My seat was close to the pool and I loved it. The Virgin Oasis is a must-have, I must admit. I didn't have to wait all day for it. We had to wait for a while to pay the bill though.

Awesome staff, good venue. Haven’t seen the rooms but I had heard they were amazing. Hadn’t tried the food either but apparently it was good.

Overall, most things were good. But the AC in my room was glitchy. It would stop cooling even after their maintenance fixed it once. The heater's earthing wire had not been connected due to which there was a current flowing through the shower panel. Again, I had to get this fixed. Their maintenance team should have taken care of this when they set it up instead of me (a guest) getting a shock and then they realising that some idiot forgot to connect the earthing wire.

This villa is a gem. Beautiful, peaceful, tropical. Food and drinks delicious and staff absolutely lovely! I loved every moment of staying here& would return again and again& recommend to friends and family. I was a bit skeptical because of pics seen, but our room was beautiful. Reception were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Philomena. I also liked when they cleaned the room everyday and refilled everything. Good quality. When here we took lots of photos of the environment & spent many afternoons relaxing around the pool. The location is fantastic as you can walk to places too.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Safe location. Great place to stay in Accra. Stay here (a small boutique hotel) over a large corporate owed place.

Absolutely lush boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Feels like small Oasis in the centre of Accra. Food was great, great for a small meeting, staff and ambience were fantastic, highly recommend.

We came for lunch there. It's a cozy place with a swimming pool, nice staff. At night, they turn on the fire lights along the pathways in the garden, adding up to a romantic atmosphere. The kid was allowed to spend some time in the pool.

Located close to city centre. Gives you both a city and tranquil feeling. Very homely, and Intimate spaces. And the surrounding nature within the hotel, amazing!

Love their coffee, for beer lovers don't miss their Tale beer, you can Swim even if you are not a guest of La Villa Boutique, very easy to locate with serene greenery within the heat of Osu. For travel freaks you can monitor airplane movement overhead if the sound is not a nuisance

Great service at the restaurant. Staff are very efficient and provide quality service. The environment is also a bonus. Private oasis in the city. This hotel is definitely very good value for money.

The restaurant beautiful and calm especially at night, nice place to have dinner with family and friends. And the music is subtle, it doesn't drown out your voice and is audible enough to enjoy. The prices tho are a bit too much on the high end and the menu is limited. All in all its a beautiful place.

The environment, although it is found in the middle of the city, gives you also some form of a countryside experience because of the trees. Beautiful place to be.

I attended a workshop here and was pretty impressed. This is my second time here and both visits have been pleasant. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was also really good. Even though we had a limited variety all I tried tasted good. The environment is also very green and they carry their nature theme throughout the hotel and that was very nice to see.

La Villa boutique is such a great place to host a conference! The view, the space, the decor just name it! Stunning views! I’m so glad I launched there. The assistance with everything from staff was top notch! Solomon especially! Top top service! I’d definitely go there again

This very homely hotel looks unassuming. It's at OSU, near Crossroads Pub, making it accessible from Oxford Street where everything happens. The meeting room I used was nicely designed. The internet worked and lunch was super.

Very nice hotel in Osu. Great pool and bar service. Rooms very nicely decorated with plenty of towels and robes. Pillows could be improved on. Wonderful staff and if you book directly with the hotel they offer a free airport shuttle.

Beautiful ambience, feels like a natural calm green oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle that is Accra. It's close to Oxford Street so a short walk lands you in the middle of the most interesting avenue in Osu.

It was a brief stay with a colleague - at the pool side - for a quick chat. It somewhat had a natural surrounding that I liked. 🎋
