My wife and I lodged here for some days on our part work, part vacation trip. The worst part of our stay was the unpleasant first impression we got interacting with the staff at the reception on our arrival. Other than that, the rest of our stay was good. The location is serene and the hotel appears to be properly managed. Other staff members I interacted with were really courteous and helpful, really wish we had a different 'first impression'!

It's simply exquisite. Really love their excellent services. They serve a wide range of delicious continental and local dishes. Their Friday nights live band and Sundays special kebab session with live band will blow you away. Just love the experience and sense of neatness. The rooms are well kept and quite comfortable

We went over for the Friday buffet dinner with the live band. Wide variety of food. It was a friend's birthday so we dropped the cake with the hostess for later. Drinks were reasonably priced, music was ok, got better as the night went on. Open air seating under a clear Accra night sky. Local options, grill options, pizza, salads 🥗, very nice all round. The zeal with which the staff process for birthday celebrants is unmatched! There were about 3 celebrants that night and everyone got high level of enthusiasm from the staff. Thank you for a wonderful night. We stayed way past closing time and never once got any attitude from anyone.

I booked my family and I for Christmas day buffet lunch at Alisa. It was advertised as 12-3pm. But didn't open for guests until about 12.20 or so. The hotel is certainly a 3 star establishment, the staff were fine, the eating hall was cool and comfortable with good ac and the spread was amazing. It looked very inviting. My only problem was that everything was cold. Despite being one of the first up to eat everything was cold! They didn't have those burner things that most buffets have under the trays to keep it warm. As such I only went up once and didn't leave full. So I was definitely disappointed with cold food. I did however really enjoy the live band. A lady called Titi Owusu, she was magnificent. Without her I would have left much earlier and gone home grumpy. She was amazing.

I Actually forgot to take shots till just when I was about leaving. I enjoyed their service. Would rate it a 4/5. The local bar was set up beautifully, the downside was the coconut’s were not properly opened hence making it quite hard to drink. Their main meals were cooked to perfection. Asked a couple of people that tried different meals and it was a 10/10 for them. I didn’t really try much of the desert. But I liked the Oreo cake. I’d definitely recommend. And big ups to the team that attended to us.

Easy to located at North Ridge. Visited the pool to relax on a public holiday. Ample parking space, clean, calm, serene premises, pool and pool area. Was not crowded and staff were polite, patient and ready to assist. Affordable walk-in pool user fee was reasonable at GHS50. The food was also reasonably priced as a hotel and looked more exciting than it tasted though, somewhere between bland and ok. I suggest you eat in the restaurant rather than pool side to avoid flies and enjoy your meal in peace.

During my recent stay at Alisa Hotel North Ridge, I was truly impressed by the exceptional service and the overall experience. The staff members were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. From check-in to check-out, their professionalism and hospitality made me feel right at home. The rooms were simply stunning! Clean, spacious, and elegantly furnished, they provided a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in room amenities was commendable, and I particularly loved the comfortable bedding that ensured a restful night's sleep. One of the standout features of this hotel is its fantastic location. It's conveniently situated in the heart of Accra, making it easy to find and access. Additionally, its proximity to various attractions, restaurants, and business centers made it a perfect choice for both leisure and business travelers like myself. I also had the chance to try out their on-site dining options, and the food was simply delightful. Whether it was the breakfast spread or the delicious meals at their restaurant, the quality and taste were top-notch. Overall, my stay at Alisa Hotel North Ridge exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Accra. The excellent service, beautiful rooms, and convenient location make it a truly memorable experience. I look forward to returning in the future.

Very beautiful accommodation with courteous staffers, always willing to offer assistance. They arranged airport pickup and their lounge at the airport is quite lovely too. Neat swimming pool/area, terrace, games, fine dining with variety of meals at the breakfast buffet. Internet was high-speed and the walkways, sparkling. Great hospitality

One of the best hotels in the city. It’s within reach of everything. The rooms are spacious. I’ve eaten the best meals here. The cucumber martini was so good. The service staff are very friendly and helpful. The front desk is so professional. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Had a lunch buffet on Saturday, and I loved the gari fotor. Their potato salad was yummy plus I loved their coleslaw too... Sadly, I couldn't taste any of the dessert since there was nothing for me...

Had a wonderful stay at the Alisa North Ridge, the food was delicious every day breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Fridays were great with the outdoor buffet and band by the pool. Pool was very nice and clean and pool bar service was good as well. All bars throughout the hotel had good service. Was there during world cup qualifying match between Ghana and Nigeria of course when Ghana won people were excited. Overall stay was great! I'm not one to nitpick so of course some things were noticeable, but overall stay was great. Love Accra. My apologies for the late review. Stay was 3-17 to 4-1, 2022

Alisa is a nice place to stay especially for weekend getaways within the city of Accra. Their rooms are very cozy and their staff very courteous and welcoming. Their food is awesome and I must add, they have nice conference facilities for both large and small meetings. They however will have to fix the female washroom at the lobby which had flooded cubicles as at the time of my last visit.

Actually a really nice hotel. The breakfast buffet is very enjoyable. It's also not too far from the airport. But then always leave at least 2hrs before close of check-in time if your flight time falls close to the Rush hour period ie 5pm and later. You get a free concierge to and from the airport if you book early.

I wish I could separate the hotel vs staff. The staff deserves 5 stars. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Maybe it's due to the pandemic but the hotel needs quite a bit of maintenance. Broken tiles in the bathroom, brown water from the tap, mildew on walls and broken fixtures. I understand Covid wrecked havoc on many businesses but the nightly rate for this "4 star" hotel was not warranted based on the present condition. I might give this place a try again in 5 years or so once they've done some renovations and repairs. It's a shame things got so run down here.

I attended my professional body's event here. I'm rating the location three star because its not easily accessible with public transport, which I love. Lol. But at their defence, it is barely a 10-15 minute walk away from the closest bus stop. Their halls are spacious and the entire environment is serene. Their lobby is also vibrant and welcoming. The only but is the parking space. My friend had to squeeze in somehow. I suppose they catered for the event. If they did, that's a 5 star because I enjoyed every finger food. Everything had been emptied by the time I was leaving. The hotel facility itself is one I haven't experienced & hope I do someday. Oh, the customer service is fine too.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Deliciously varied breakfast buffet. Enjoyed the themed meals during my stay as well as the intro to West African cuisine. In as far as the amenities, found the rooms on the pricy end and would have preferred the option a proper shower cubicle. That being said, I definitely enjoyed my stay.

I enjoyed my stay although my flight was canceled. I made the right choice in choosing Alisha Hotel. On Friday night Oct 20th was an amazing dining affair. Live music band, fresh food and fruits. I loved the palm wine (5 stars) ❤. The staff were very attentive and helpful with everything. One of the female front desk worker was very nice and pleasant. As soon as I remember her name I will edit this review and post it 😉. Thank you! Alisha Hotel for a great experience. United States love( Boston, Ma)

Alisa Hotel provides hospitality services to any kind of person, only if they can afford it. There is no racism or discrimination. With their top-notch services, you'll feel comfortable and secure with them. What else must I say? The free Wi-Fi? You don't need to ask anyone for password

I have been there for brunch. Neighborhood seemed to be calm, with pedestrian areas on the streets. Staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. Food was really diverse, with a lot of local and international dishes in some cases a bit too deep grilled. The hall is quite dark and crowded, and live music is loud.

Fairly good place to stay. Great location with near access to many ministries or embassies. Meals more Ghanian if you like it not so good pastry. Had to leave prematurely since the hotel unfortunately had no water occasioned by water pump failure.

It is hard to not give this Hotel top ratings. I was here for a few days and grew to love the strategically placed hotel, the spacious rooms and the complimentary breakfast buffet. I’ll start off as it’s an ok place to stay in. Had a bit of a drainage issue with the sink in my room that took a while before it was resolved. It’s clean and quiet that’s one thing I’ll give to them. They aren’t good cooks sorry to say ended up only eating three times there in four days. It’s either to salty or just not good enough. My Friend said the banku and tilapia was good but my first experience with the Ghanaian jellof at the hotel left me disappointed, also you can’t other breakfast after 10:30am for reasons best known to them. All in all its not the worst place to stay in but can be improved on

Went for buffet Sunday with my family. Made a reservation for a table way before the scheduled date and was told there wasn’t enough tables when I called earlier and was still told to come. We waited in the lobby till they got us a place outside the buffet hall. The experience wasn’t the same as the fun in the buffet hall and there were visitor trooping in and out of the lobby where we were having lunch 👎🏾 They apologised and we were given 10% discount off but it still wasn’t worth it since we were there to celebrate a birthday. Recommendation: there shouldn’t be any room for excuse when a client book way ahead of time and even called to check if the table booked was still available. Always make provision for client who heed to your rules. Food was great btw.

  • 3/5 kobina o. 1 year ago on Google
It's a nice venue with good food, the service isn't rapid so prepare to wait unless you choose the buffet option which I think is really good. Enough variety. Why 3 stars is because I wasn't expecting to have my lunch on a movie set, which it did feel like due to all the cameras, directors and actors who were present shooting what it seemed like a commercial while we ate. I only ask to be offered some consent at least before putting me image on a commercial production. Either than that, all good. 😎

I've been to Alisa Hotel thrice. First time was 2 years ago, as groomsman for a buddy. We used the rooms overnight for wedding prepping and photos for the wedding next day. Second time was to deliver a package to an event happening in one of the halls. Third time was last week for a meeting in the restaurant; breakfast. It was standard buffet and good atmosphere. Hotel staff are sharp and responsive. Hotel is clean and has standard modern nécessities. Location is not difficult to find, and carpark is adequate. Overall, can recommend.

The rooms were very nice. The receptionist, Irene, was also very nice and helpful. Highly recommend her. The environment is serene and the meals are sumptuous. The water flowing was very dirty and it lasted for almost a day. I called for technical support and was informed the pump was off. They fixed it within two minutes and everything was good again. I would have easily given a foir or five star bar this circumstance.

Food took too long and with COVID-19 still around the bend, there wasn't a hot towel to clean hands. The food came as late as was and was the hardest Pork chops I've ever eaten. Steamed veggies as advertised were a couple pieces of french beans and 4pieces of chopped carrots that tasted stale. Even though the the above took away a few stars, Credit must be given to management though. The place is extremely clean with very Friendly staff and the ambient straight from the main lobby to the poolside was great. I may have had a bad experience but nothing is perfect anywhere these days. I'd still go back and give them a second try and I'd still recommend it to friends.

I visited Accra for work and was lodged at Alisa hotel. I enjoyed a warm welcome by the receptionist. The staff from the security officers, receptionists, etc were professional, approachable and pleasant to engage. I had booked a superior room, but was upgraded to a deluxe room without extra charge. At the point of check-in, I had issues paying with my card on the POS and the receptionist checked me in without delay with the understanding that we'd try the payment later. I was eventually able to make payment online - I guess the POS has network issues. The room was exquisitely furnished! AC was on point. The food was absolutely sumptuous. I have 5more days to spend at the hotel and I am excited that I can feel at home away from home. I would recommend Alisa Hotel to anyone visiting Ghana.

Initially I underestimated the place but I was surprised. I'll use my usual quick 5⭐️rating for each Thematic area Check on process 5⭐️ - quick and friendly staff Lobby 2⭐️ - basic & underwhelming Lifts 1 ⭐️ tiny and very slow but can be forgiven due to age My room 5⭐️ statemanly and majestic. Sheets soft. Rain shower soft towels I was happy see pictures F & B ⭐️- the food was a pleasant surprise. Simple and Full of flavor. The buffet was amazing very hearty breakfasts full range for meals. Soups were to die for. Sobolo juice was electrifying. To crown it all the Friday poolside buffet was out is this work. Roast Pork belly😋😋😋. Good selection of wines and whisky. Well priced. I can write on and on but I'll definately be back. Kuddos to the General Manager from 🇰🇪 for a Job well executed.

The hotel staffs were lovely, kind, and respectful. Florence and Kanor helped put together an amazing surprise for my wife for our anniversary. They made sure the planning and execution of the surprise went smoothly. The hotel was clean, food was impeccable, and everyone was a professional. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back.

The service was great and they had quite an exhaustive list of foods on their menu during breakfast. Staff are very polite and very helpful. Alisa hotel is worth every amount of money spent.

Hi, I stayed at Alisa Hotel North Ridge in December 2021 to January 2022, so my review is a bit late. The most important thing I found enjoyable about my stay was the Topnotch customer service. If I had a complaint it was resolved immediately. The General Manager Alex was the best! Other staff that were awesome and I encountered during my stay was Vida, Ernest, Awo, Daniel, Beatrice and Ephraim and I am sure I’m forgetting some names. I want to “Thank you guys for an amazing experience.” My next favorite thing was eating…the food was amazing every single day. I got to meet the chef but forgot his name. I enjoyed frequenting the gym and the cost of training sessions were affordable. My least favorite experience about my stay was the hotel itself could use some updating….like removing all carpeting and using tile or wood/faux wood flooring. Some other small minor upgrades would surely be a win for the hotel and its guess. If you are looking for a place to stay in Accra choose Alisa you want regret it!!! Tonya H.

👍👍 Papaye remains the same today, tomorrow and forever. I really love the consistency and customer service. You are always assured of a great fried rice meal and juicy chicken. Ps: Always double check to make sure the cutlery has been placed in your takeaway.

👍 Well noted for providing safe and affordable food for Ghanaians for more than a decade with good customer service . They have a large dining area which makes it conducive for groups and medium size family. Food served here include Fried rice with grilled/fried chicken, club sandwich, freshly squeez...
