Don't go there seeking their opinion about whether you need surgery or not for a condition. They will always tell you that you need it because that is what they do. Do your investigation and research elsewhere. If it is indeed determined independently (and seek a few opinions) that you do need it, then they are good at surgery. They told me I needed surgery before I could be healed and it just was not true. I am glad I did not spend over the 30K they were suggesting. I did not need it and I am fine now. But the sales doctors under Dickson will force you, pressuring you and making a hard sales call that you need surgery.

Has been a good experience in private clinic in Accra. The staff is professional, the appointments are on time and the doctors are excellent. Update: post natal pediatric care not so great.

This place is amazing in terms of its highly qualified doctors and modern techniques. But the problem with it is its poor aftercare, and all it cares about is money. They will do anything to convince you to have the surgery and pay more - about ten times the average cost in Ghana. After that, they will no longer be nice to you and worry about what happens to you after the surgery. I am editing my review to reply Nova. They said that they could not reach me and that is why they have neglected me after the surgery. This is a blatant lie. My phone has been on all these while. But assuming it is true that they couldn't reach me, what happened to calling my "guardian" as they used to do previously when they couldn't reach me? Isn't it because they feel they have already taken the huge money they needed from me and they no longer need me?

It is very modern when it comes to healthcare services. The facility is sparkling clean. The staff are very hospitable. The doctors are excellent. They host a variety of medical-surgical services, some of which are not offered in other facilities. The overall performance is well above average.

Dr. Dickson and the Nova Surgery Center are fantastic! Dr. Dickson has practiced medicine for over 30 years, including a significant time in the US. He offers a wealth of knowledge, and it shows. He was very calm, caring, patient, and honest with me. The facility has the ability to provide all services in one location (i.e. Vitals, gynecology, ultrasounds, blood work, laparoscopy, and pharmaceuticals); so there's no need to visit anywhere else or wait for results. As long as I am in Accra, I will continue to see Dr. Dickson. I also highly recommend Nova...especially if you require complicated gynecology services or want personalized, patient, and honest service.
