The only thing well organized in this hospital is the collecting the patient's MONEY, otherwise it's one disorganized mess. I do not recommend this place. Although I am not sure if there's better is even better hospital care in Ghana. I came to the hospital with my pregnant wife it is totally a big mess and a waste of my day, the patient is being skipped over😱

Though nothing exceptional compared to Johns Hopkins Hospital, et al., their services are fantastic, and environment is clean, as well as the Atlantic Ocean also gives it a cool and windy outlook. Their Ghanaian and African doctors are exceptionally patient-friendly, though the foreign [white colored] doctors are stern towards patients.

Worst experience ever - DO NOT RECOMMEND - you'd honestly be just as well going to a public hospital - 3hr wait to see the gynaecologist for 5minutes - 250ghc for him to not listen to any of my concerns about my health or pregnancy and to just tell me to eat fruit. The 250ghc did not include a ultrasound/scan or any tests - another 300ghc if you want any of that done. After waiting another 2hrs for scan and tests - we wanted to get our results the same day so we would never have to come back here (come back in 2 weeks and pay 200ghc to see the same terrible doctor they reckon - not on my life) but surprise surprise the gynaecology had already gone home (he arrived at 11am and was gone by 1pm) so now we are waiting to see the regular doctor.... We have bounced back between nurses and payment windows all day, everyone seems confused and rude. I cannot suggest enough that you go to ANY OTHER HOSPITAL, especially if you are pregnant

Nice Environment with a Nursing Training School. They have state of the art machinery for Laboratory processes. It was inaugurated by the President John Dramani Mahama assisted by Ex Presidents John Egyekum Kuffour and Flt Lt Jerry John Rawlings. It is their billing system that is transparent especially when you have the NHIS.

It's almost like the nurses do not care. The receptionist at the lab just up and left and there was nobody to call anybody in to get their scans done so everyone was just sitting down like there was nothing going on. More room for improvement.

I honestly don't understand how they have any positive reviews at all! We had to wait so much time and be bounced from one doctor to the other. Each and every door we opened we had to pay before we are even in. I really wish I'd read the reviews on here before coming. Wasted money and time and ended with nothing but back pain and unanswered concerns. Do yourself a favor and don't bother coming here.

Really disappointed in Family Health hospital. How can a big hospital have onlyone doctor on duty to attend to outpatient and inpatient at the same time in the evening. I came to the hospital since 6pm and the doctor on duty was attending to an emergency. I spent 3hrs waiting and still the doctor is not back. Is that how you treat your patients? One doctor in the evening is not enough for this big hospital please 😞😞😞😞😞

Most of the staffs there are not customer centric, and all they know is just money. They know a situation is beyond them but they won’t transfer the person on time because they are only interested in their money. The is one rude Ewe lady in the emergency ward she needs customer service training too.

Their services might be a bit expensive but the do provide quality services.

We pay for consultation but the doctors will not explain your problem and the cause neither will they open up. They tell you your sickness and that’s it.No advise no details and am sure that’s why we are paying consultation fee. If not we will be heading straight to the lab

I was here a week ago to see a doctor concerning my ear, I was given some medications to take and report back in a week to wash my ears..I got here a week later and was asked to sit and wait in a que...I sat down for 30 min without being attended to..I moved to see the nurses at the reception and all they said is to wait for some few min..I sat again for another 30 min without anyone saying a word to me ...is that how this hospital runs..I've been here on several occasions buh haven't encountered what I went through today ..I later had to go to a different hospital cause it seems like no one is ready to attend to we the patience..I also work as a waiter so I know how customer service is done ...not like this!!!!

I’m so upset and disappointed in family healths service. Their staff from records, cashiers, nurses.... complete disaster. I was told to pay for a service i had already paid. And those at the record made sure i paid for today’s consultation and later informed i have to pay double, with no proper explanation. With no care i was in pain or not. Indirectly telling me i could go die for all they care. Their name will be on my lips wherever I go. Please don’t waste your time going to that hospital for ur own good.
