I went during the day and Had a nice and relaxing day. There are few activities to do eg horse riding, you could play games if you are with a group Numerous people try to convince you to buy things like art work, souvenirs, beads etc that’s up to you and your budget to decide. There are drinks and food for sale, a little more expensive than usual so you can bring snacks, food and drink from home if you don’t want to buy at the beach Entry fee is 10 cedis.

This is a large beach with with maybe 10 cafes offering free seating in hope you will will buy their food and drink. Prices are little expensive by Accra standards. The cafes have rather shabby furniture and tatty umbrellas. I was dubious about the kitchens so avoided the food. There are a small number of sun loungers at some cafes. During your visit you will be constantly bothered by people selling tourist products. There are also people selling food such as eggs, bananas and ice cream but they are not pushy. There are people selling horse rides and people offering self drive rides an quad bikes which are sometimes driven at high speed and close to people as well as spewing out fumes. There is a small swimming area watched by guards but there are large waves - most people stay close to the shore. The sea looks clean apart from quite a few black plastic bags. Entry to the beach is GHC10 on weekdays and GHC 20 after 5pm and weekends. The people who take the money often try and charge double if you are a foreigner. They can be nasty and aggressive. All in all not a great or relaxing experience compared with European beaches. It is however a very popular place for locals to socialise in the evenings and weekends. On public holidays its gets packed to capacity with traffic jams on surrounding roads.

We had a pleasant visit to Labadia Beach, though it was very crowded while we were there (Sunday afternoon). There are plenty of restaurants to choose from that offer tables and umbrellas to sit under while you eat / drink, as well as beach activities you can pay for (horseback riding, ATV rides). There are some pretty picturesque places on the beach, but you have to get away from the crowds and trash to find them. This is the dirtiest beach I've ever been to (trash is everywhere, including in the waves). There were people swimming in the water, but I didn't feel comfortable getting in the water, as you'll be swimming with a lot of debris. In the midst of all the crowds are a lot of merchants selling various trinkets. I found these merchants much less aggressive than the ones on Oxford Street, as when you say "no thank you," they nod and walk away instead of asking repeatedly. For those who want a quieter experience, you can walk all the way down to the other end of the beach where you'll find some flat rocks to sit on. I'll call this place "Lovers Cove" as it only had a handful of couples sitting quietly enjoying the waves hitting the rocks. Very peaceful. Overall, I recommend visiting, even if just for the experience, but expect a crowd on the weekend, lots of merchants, and quite a bit of trash. If you look past all of that, you can have a pleasant time.

We are here . 20 cedis per person , that threw us . Then a thousand people want to get you to sit down in an area to buy refreshments . Then continually harassed to buy pictures, trinkets bages etc. Overall not sure it's working. If you can be left in peace it would be better.

Nice beach, a lot of restaurants, variety of activities like horse riding. The vendors are quite disturbing and when the tides are high you are not allowed to swim in the sea.

Labadi Beach, located in the heart of Accra, is a picturesque oasis. The first thing to note is the entrance fee of 20 Cedis, a small price to pay for the scenic splendor that awaits you. Once inside, the beach offers an immediate sense of tranquility. The azure waters contrasted with white sands provide a breathtaking view, with the higher tides producing majestic, frothy waves that are a sight to behold. This makes it a paradise for photographers, professional and amateur alike, offering countless moments worthy of capturing. One of the unique features of Labadi Beach is the lively marketplace. The vendors here offer a wide range of trinkets and souvenirs, giving you a chance to bring a piece of Labadi back home. From vibrant African print fabrics to intricately carved wooden figurines, there's something to suit every taste. However, with the beach's popularity comes its biggest drawback. During public holidays and weekends, Labadi Beach can become quite crowded, making it less peaceful for those who seek solitude in the seashore's calm. But if you enjoy vibrant energy and getting to meet new people, these busy times can provide a unique and authentic Ghanaian experience. In conclusion, Labadi Beach, with its stunning views, exciting marketplace, and lively atmosphere, offers a unique experience for locals and tourists alike. The 20 Cedi entrance fee is a small cost for the unforgettable memories you will undoubtedly create here.

For all the foreigners!!! The beach is quite nice - during Corona pandemic it may looks close but it’s not. U still can go at night to the beach but u need to give some money to the β€œstaff” members. At the beach the people try to rip u off - take care and pay exactly or ask immediately for the change. Otherwise u won’t see it anymore. At the end of our night-beach-trip plenty of people followed us and asked for money because of whatever reason. If u wanna go back to the Labadi hotel area there’s another tip u may have to pay to the β€œstaff” members.

I came to spread my Son's ashes in the ocean here. I experienced much more. Sadness but happiness followed. The water was warm and sky was brilliant. I also met Mr Wonder a horse 🐎 that was very gentle and loving. Thank you I really appreciated my time there

Just a regular beach front. Neat to an extent. Gate fees on Mondays 10 cedis, other days start from 20 cedis. Drinks start from 15 cedis. Different vendors are available there. Car park also available.

Sanitation is not the best. The place is calm though and gets busy usually on public holidays. At other times, you’d meet so-called β€œcaretakers” who may extort money from visitors.

I had fun. I swam. Out past the breakers, then paralled the beach and swam back in. Everyone on the beach flipped out, except the lifeguards who stood around flirting. When I body surfed in, my face came up in a sewer pipe. Very memorable. Drinks were good. The crowd is fun, they strut like roosters. The horses are one week from the dog food factory.

Nice place to enjoy the beach , might be crowded during weekend and there might be thieves , but still a nice place to enjoy the sea and unwind. Food and drinks are at affordable prices and the service vary according to where you sit, Its a welcoming beach I may say.

There were a variety of activities to choose from which was lovely. I opted for the quad bike and horse ride. I did feel bad for the horses at first but the owner assured me that they are well taken care of. To be honest the horses did look healthy and in good condition. The owner was lovely as well.

The horse ride was fantastic! My friend was riding for the first time and Georgina our horse was gracious. It was a bit pricey to be honest, but the ride was worth it The beach comes alive at night and nothing was more thrilling than the double side - the loud partying music on the one end and nothing but the waves and water and fishermen on the other.

The place is okay. There's variety of stuffs you can get there. Numerous drinks and foods. Also beach side is quiet okay. However I think their foods and drinks are too overpriced. I know they want to make profit but then that doesn't mean they should overprice their stuffs. Also the workers there makes it look Mandatory to order for something whenever you sit on any chair around just to relax.

We were very disappointed during our visit. This beach is dirty ! There are plastic bags and garbarge everywhere. This is scandalous knowing that you have to pay to enter the beach. Something has to be done because the place has potential. Aside of that, there were a lot of hawkers trying to sell us things by force which was very unpleasant. The only thing we enjoyed was the horse rising. Hope this place improves for the best.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Labadi Beach during my trip to Ghana, and it was indeed a delightful experience. The beach's natural beauty, lively atmosphere, and vibrant culture make it a must-visit destination in Accra. Labadi Beach is known for its stunning shoreline, and the waves gently caressing the sandy shore offer a tranquil setting to unwind. It's a fantastic spot to relax, soak up the sun, or take a leisurely stroll along the coastline. The beach is well-maintained, and the clean surroundings add to its charm. However, one thing to note is the access fee, which was 20 Ghana Cedis per person. While the fee might seem a bit steep, I found it reasonable considering the overall experience and amenities available at the beach. On the downside, I did notice that the food and beverages offered at the eateries within the beach area were priced on the higher side compared to what you'd find outside. If you're on a budget, you might want to consider eating elsewhere before or after your visit. However, the convenience of having dining options right on the beach can be quite tempting. Despite the pricing, the local dishes I tried were delicious and offered a taste of authentic Ghanaian cuisine. I recommend trying some of the grilled seafood options; they were absolutely mouthwatering. One thing that stood out to me was the lively atmosphere at Labadi Beach. On weekends, it's a hub of activity with live music, dance performances, and vendors selling local crafts. It's a great place to immerse yourself in Ghana's culture and connect with the locals. Overall, Labadi Beach is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Ghana's coastline. While some aspects may be a bit pricey, the experience and cultural richness make it well worth a visit. Don't forget your sunscreen, hat, a good book, and a sense of adventure when you head to this beautiful beach!

Pazar gΓΌnΓΌ Γ§ok kalabalΔ±k bir kumsal. Restoran degnekcileri sizi kendi yerlerine davet etmek iΓ§in uğraşıyorlar. Birisine oturdum. I have been there on a sunny Sunday. The restaurant guus can be a bit pushy. I sat down at one of these restaurants. Hot beer and awful fries. You have to pay entry fee of 20 Ghedis which is absurd. But sea breeze iş nice.

One of a kind, the vast, sunny, white sandy beach where the glorious blue skies lean to cuddle the dark chocolate. I love this place. This should be the top notch choice of the tourists, who wants to spend their holidays in complete harmony.

Right at the end of the world, where the sun dives in the ocean, and warms the majestic particals of glittering white sands, spreading his rays like the wings of an angel, the sun inhales the scent of chocolate babe spreading her ankles far from each other, and her sweat shining like pearls on her flawless curves. It makes us feel hungry once again.

The Accra coastline is dotted with many public beaches, castles and forts. All these beautiful public spaces offer access to the beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean crashing against the shore. Labadi Beach, however, is unique among these for its range of dynamic beachside activities. It offers a great urban beach experience, with a clean beachfront, good food andΒ musicΒ and new friends just around the corner. A beautiful, amazing beech is it. Β It is the most popular beach inΒ Ghana,Β with a spacious shoreline lined with sparse coconut trees and plenty of activities on offer. it is usually filled on Fridays and Saturdays, however, on weekdays you can enjoy a quiet environment perfect for reading or reflection. You can also go on horseback rides along the water for a very small fee. During my stay in Ghana few times i visited this attractive and amazing beech. Evenings are very charming here. I really enjoyed this. I suggest you guys visit this beech. All the best

Cool place only that people are taking undue advantage of others there. After paying the gate fee you go and pay other exorbitant prices to so many other people in there. Management should look at this carefully. I still had fun.

Nice environment the only thing I dislike about the place is the exorbitant prices of items sold at this place. Other than that the place is a lovely place to visit.
