One of the finest churches you can find in Tema, for so long people have called it "that church with the very nice building" and indeed the building is beautiful. Works are underway to add a new edifice with a multi-purpose hall that would serve as a youth church. Been a member of this church for as long as I can remember and oh the church recently celebrated it's 50th Anniversary, that should tell you it's an old one. The Baptist are known to be the people of the word, and this one is no different. Currently running 2 adult services and 1 Teen service on Sundays. There's also a teaching n prayer service on Wednesdays.

My first Sunday service at this church was glorious. Their praise and worship was right on point and I did dance very well. The pastor's message was so much filled with the Spirit of God and inspiring. Their leaders are very kind and I had the chance to meet the administrator. They have plans of building another mega church right beside their main auditorium.

Its a beautiful place of worship, comfortable seats and has an upper seating area. The members also seemed friendly and welcoming. Has a grass field which serves as an extension to their parking space so ample parking available.

Covid protocols were observed and church service was wonderful

I give it a 5 star rating owing to the fact that their service in this era of the covid is remarkable, they have provided various places around the church, water, soap and disinfectants. First Baptist church, Tema is a Baptist church located in community 5, Tema with their usual service days being the normal Sunday that cuts across most churches in the country. It's a very popular Christian church attended by many who value it's customs and ways of conducting their Sunday services.
