I was extremely disappointed with my stay considering it was my first time in Ghana. Thank God the street food and chop bars around prepared better quality food than this hotel. I disliked having to "turn my keys in" every time I leave the hotel even if it's just a short while. The hotel provides an all you can eat buffet and when I arrived for breakfast at 7am there were only scraps available. Another foreigner demanded for more food to be brought out so we all could eat. The staff did their best to prepare a few eggs and beans. I posted these pictures of what I eat. Also, coffee and tea was finished as well. I'm Not sure if I just woke up late or there were bunch of hungry people eating "all they could" at the time of my arrival. Room was mediocre, small TV, simple hard bed. This hotel was ok to stay for a night or two. On a positive note, the swimming pool was lovely and I didn't mind the decore. Ghanaian food is amazing! try the local chop bars and restaurants instead, for a real authentic experience.

A pathetic excuse of an establishment. Poorly led and badly managed by inefficient, incompetent and unprofessional individuals. Glady’s the “general manager” lacks the ability to lead and manage. She is inept, incompetent, unprofessional and quite frankly, not qualified to lead nor manage an establishment. Paid for 1-1 lessons with an “instructor” at 750 ghc. Turns out this individual is no instructor but merely the pool cleaner who has been tasked with “instructing” swimming lessons. You know how a housekeeper doubles as a cook/chef but has no skills nor business calling themselves a chef and attempting to cook at an experienced level? Yeah, that’s what these clowns are up to at Hotel Majorie Y. Of course what you’ll have here is an individual with no instructing skills, no plan, no structure, no focus nor guidance, just aimless swimming with inefficient and wrong techniques because he is not qualified nor competent to instruct. I turn up to 1-1 “swimming lessons” at a booked time only to find 2 or 3 others also there for 1-1 which then turns the lessons into a group lesson. The “instructor’s” focus is therefore not fully on you. If I pay for 1-1 lessons, I expect 1-1 lessons you twerps! To top that off, tou are left alone for prolonged periods while he attends to swimmers who are not there for paid lessons all in an attempt to market himself for his private side business of lessons outside the establishment, on my time and my money? You incompetent, lazy, trifling nincompoop! I raised this with “management”, turned up to speak to the “GM”, Glady’s whose response and attitude was SHOCKING to say the least. A “general manager” shouting like a lunatic. Had the audacity to say the lessons paid for at 750 ghc are group lessons and that 1-1 lessons cost 500 ghc per lesson. The absurdity!! The nerve!! The lies! In the end, I realised it wasn’t worth my headache considering all I was actually being taught was wrong swimming techniques. It was actually a waste of my time, energy and transport. A real sorry excuse of an establishment. If you are after swimming lessons with a competent instructor, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Upon entry through the main gate, we (me and my friends), were halted.we were asked what we were coming to do (IDK why we were asked that because we are of reasonable age, three 17s and three 18s. After they made a supposed call to reception, we were told that there was no entry. We had no choice but to leave. My friends and I were dissatisfied with such service right at the gate. So we left sad and angry. If there was a zero rating, I'd give it

Traveled here in 2019 to visit Tropical Cable for a business trip, well before covid was on the news, Really enjoyed my stay the staff went over and above as it was my first time in Africa on my own. The pool is great, the food and catering is great (altho slow to service but I was in no rush), cleaners kept the room tidy, and the location for business is really good! Compared to hotels around the world the rooms were good but not great but contain all the necessities and (most importantly) were chilled for the summer heat however (as a non-smoker) stunk of cigerate smoke, but I would definately come back!

Very nice place, room was clean and we had a nice kitchenette in the suite, staff is extremely helpful. The manager is on top of things here! The pool was awesome and the breakfast buffet went way beyond expectations. We enjoyed the weekend here and the price was very good for a hotel of this caliber. We will definitely return here.

If you don’t have 1.5 hours to waste, this time is not for you. We waited almost two hours before our food came out. They told us 30 mins and instead took two hours. Worse was that they charge you for a to go box even though the reason we needed the to go was because the food took so long we didn’t have the time to eat properly. No apology whatsoever from the staff.

One of the better hotels I have stayed in. Depending on the traffic it is not too far from the Airport. Food was exquisite and the staff is friendly and truly professional. Swimming pool is clean and maintained daily.

Super super super cool hotel. Loved everything about the place. Spacious and secured parking space. The security system in and around the Hotel is just top class. Rooms are super lit. Hotel Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Of course, the receptionist I met was super human. Errmmmm the name was, Falali or so. That lady needs a pay rise.lol. Their swimming pool area....👌👌👌👌. Location is good road facing huge property have ample of parking space and free space Lobby is good they have planted many plants for green lovers Rooms are ok ..i stayed there fir 10days in deluxe room, interior are very basics, not enough lighting , table lamp not running, they given bath tub in bathroom but no provision to hold water so useless, Breakfast is mostly african but as its business hotel i think they should ahve more options for everyone, i used to ate only fruits and vegetable or milk with kellogs as m asian vegetarian They are charging 1100cedi approx for deluxe room but stil if u wish to use swimming pool u need to pay for it which is not look good instead charge little more and include it in package basically swimming pool is part of property and the one stay there are liable to use it . No service for luggage carrying to room and from room to exit gate while chevkout we need to carry our bags on our own Not at all worth or seems like 3 star for the money they are charging yes but if u wnat a peaceful clean stay its good road touch easily rechable.

I’ve been here for almost two months. Checked in 10th November and still here. They stopped providing the basic stuff for my room despite several complaints. There isolate you from speaking to senior management staffs.
