Tasteless food ! The grilled tilapia was almost like sun dried fish with no juice & taste plus a funny smell. The chicken I ordered was super dry and bland. It’s clear it’s a collapsed business and should have noticed when I sat alone as the only patron during a high traffic lunch period. It completely messed my lunch as I was very hungry & looking forward to great food.

Love their food. I even bought Dog food with bones and mixed meat. Bruno my dog did enjoy their dog food reserved.

Not maintained, neither a tourist attraction anymore. Not much to see if you're not a history enthusiast.

Ordered spaghetti and beef sauce through Glovo. On first opening the pack, I'd thought I had some kind of green soup instead. Did you run out of corn starch or flour? Spaghetti was dry packaging was poor and food was trash. I'd trusted Zoozoo Achimota. Thought y'all will be same, maybe even better. Sorely disappointed. I could have ordered from the streets if my food was gonna arrive looking like one. And now I have diarrhoea. 😭

We chanced on Ebenezer Ansah who told me about the Fort. The sense of cruelty was felt. Today we stand freely to learn and to imagine what our forebears went through.

I was here on Nkrumah's Day (21st September) and we met some young men, one of whom led us in. However the guide/caretaker wasn't around, so we couldn't do a tour. The place hasn't been well kept like other forts/castles along the western coast and it doesn't look like the place has much to offer. However you're able to get good views of the sea, the Kar Power generation plant, the Sekondi fishing harbour, the naval base and the old township (European Town) from the top floor of the fort.

It was an awesome experience for me being the first time I had an encounter with some animals like lions,camel,cobra, crocodile,eagle, chimpanzees among others.
