Nice beach front location but the place need some TLC. I was disappointend with the service. No menu card, no price list, payment only by cash, no receipt given for order. Tina our waiter was useless she did not record our order and eventually ended up overcharging us twice the cost of our order. My advise is ask for the price before you order and keep a record of every item you order else you will be overcharged.

Enjoy the sea breeze, the food, I did Banku + Tilapia + grilled chicken, the service was good the food came in on time, there are wide range of beverages to choose from. The car park is spacious and high sense of security. The waitress was nice and helpful.

We came here during our last day in Accra, and had the grilled tilapia. It was excellent. The food was one of the best we had, and the service was fast. Totally recommend it, and plan to go back there on our next visit.

This could be a nice place to have a meal next to the beach if it wasn't managed so badly. I went with my family and friends last week and when asked for the menu I was told there was no menu, but the were four choices, when asked for the price of the options it became ridiculous. Just because I am not Ghanian the guys tried to charge prices that not even at the sandbox beach club ... In fact if you are looking for a nice place to have a meal in the area just go straight to the sandbox beach club and don't waste your time with these guys

Had some wonderful fried yam and turkey with Lovely pepper at 10 am. Very nice gentleman who served us.

Tina is amazing, she is very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs, the veggie rice is great and the fried yams too, my buddy had the rice and chicken and loved it. Been there three time, will go back many more.

Feel the cool sea breeze here, private sheds with good food and wonderful staff services. Gets quiet here during the day time but opposite at nights wonderful experience.

It is a very nice beach resort in Accra. The view is very beautiful and the breeze is amazing. My friends and I enjoyed it very much. It's a quiet place for those who just want to relax.

Nice place to have a beer with lot of graffiti: tawala no wahala is the motto. Means no problems!

It has ample parking space. The environment is really clean and serene. There is an elevated wooden shed-like structure by the beach which give an extended view of the sea and provides adequate shade against the sun. There are also private sheds around (a two person structure) which gives a pseudo private space whiles giving you a view of the beach. Their night time service is fantastic and the staff stay till the last person leaves.

It was a lovely Sunday afternoon well spent at the tawala beach in La Accra. The food was great and affordable (Gh70 for banku and tilapia), the staffs and owners are very accommodating and welcoming. The beach is very serene and clean, totally loved my time alone there. I totally recommend the tawala beach for anyone looking for a great beach spot in Accra 😍🤩

You loose a huge amount of money due to theft of the waiters and waitresses there. Purely extortion of money from client through dubious means. The workers there are thieves finding ways to exploit their clients. Everything there is sold at an exorbitant price. I will not recommend the place for anybody.

Good for relaxation after a hard day job. Although the roof top bar has been left unkempt, I wish the owners can redo the roofing so that it looks as good as it used to be.

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I'VE BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. I soo sooo regretted going there and I have a bone to pick with the one who recommended the place. The owner/Manager was soo soo rude. And on top of that, they served us EXPIRED DRINKS and they were not remorseful about it. THE PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN PERMANENTLY

The beach is neat. But the last time I was there I had to pay ghc5. Apparently use it for the up keep of the place. They have a table services. Services onf the best tilapia in town. Best place to chill out but has loud music I would recommend the for not the services

Very peaceful even though the loud music sometimes.. Really great food!! Been here 4 times are different meals and was very pleased… The portions are large 2/3 people can share a plate… Very efficient kitchen and customer service the manager/owner is amazing (blonde hair)

It is such a serene place to enjoy the Sea Breeze from the roof top shed especially . Food and drinks are pricey, fried Turkey and yams cost Ghc 80 and Beer cost Gh 15 respectively, Food was yummy and enough to share with a Friend.

Was there on Aug 8, 2020 and was left disappointed when it was time to pay my bill. The waitress informed me that Tawala now sell a bottle of club beer for ghc 20 as a result of low patronage due to COVID-19. I also had to pay ghc14 for a pack of ciggies, something that sells for ghc 7 in shell shops!

The place is deteriorated. One has to pay to access the beach and the facility is not as it used to be.. management should work on uplifting the place.

Totally loved the summer hut. It felt peaceful just sitting there and watching the tides. Food and drinks are available. Khebabs too.

Tawala beach has good packaging space and it's always open. The beach was dirty when I visited, probably from flood or surface runoff. You pay 10 Cedis to have access to the beach sidewalk, but you don't pay to sit and have your meal either on the rooftop shade or beside the beach. However, the top shade was full of fungus and algae that you cant comfortably lean on the bamboo without staining yourself with greenish algae. This could be a result of the almost 2 years of beach closure due to COVID lockdown. Probably give them a few more months they may get things back in order because Tawala was a good beach spot before the pandemic. And I was a frequent visitor because of the less rowdiness and crowd compared to Labadi.

Enternace is 15 buy person in weekends. Outdoor and indoor seating area is available, food is good, nice place to relax in the afternoon/evening with few drinks they have a 1st floor also which turns to higher music at night parking outside is big and spacey

Shabby and run down. There us a Ghc 10 charge to use the beach - cheap enough but the furniture is not comfortable. I inquired about the food - there is no written menu. Ghc70 for chicken and rice. I decided not to order as I was doubtfull about the quality - but maybe it was OK. Drinks were more expensive than other places. The beach was clean and groomed but the sea seems rather full of rubbish. I won't be returning.

Went there for a shoot but they kept mentioning outrageous rates. We ended up paying 80-100 cedis per person which was quite on the high side and a bit suspicious.

Important to learn how wonderful our world would be, if all would feel accountable for the waste humans produce but not properly manage. The whole beach is a shame for the people and the government who tolerates this long term pollution of sea side!
