Please use the main road when coming and avoid all short cuts - the roads there are terrible. There’s an entrance fee even though the beach and pool is closed for public use. The place needs a lot of renovation and maintenance is poor. The photos displayed on the site are old as compared to the deterioration of the buildings and environment. Prices of everything from drinks to food to rooms are exorbitant, especially food and rooms. Nice sea view by the way. Kindly call for enough enquires and prepare well.

This review is on the white sands beach club: this is the more private section where the villa and chalets are. We were in the villa so this review is about the villa. The first impression of this place is like a castle, a quaint little castle. The interior has a "medieval" look and feel. All lights are warm and sourced from lamps. There was someone who was somewhat acting like butler at our service too. It is an interesting experience to be honest. We were welcomed with lemon grass ice tea and oh boy, we couldn't have enough of it. Dinner was a 4 course meal which was utterly delicious and impressive. The landscape is breathtaking ! Very very well kept! Their beach is so clean and beautiful, it kind of lies below the resort so it makes the view even more beautiful. Hopefully the pictures can help with my description. I did feel like some parts of the villa looked too "medieval" but i think it probably all adds to the experience. The only issue was that, the roof leaked in several places when it rained heavily. We reported it and so I hope it gets fixed. It is a PERFECT place for a weekend getaway with family and friends. Let me add that it is not cheap!! I repeat, it is not cheap😅😅

lovely resort with lots to offer. from the lagoon where they offer free 'bikes' to rentals by the hour of jet skis. very well managed with friendly staff and assistants, and they serve some of the very best local dishes. worth your time and dollars

Nice pool. Very badly managed. Let me start with beginning At Entrance, Gate keeper asked to go straight to park and go Straight from there. We did same. After coming down. Another staff said that we need to go back as main entrance was in other direction View was nice. Food was good in taste and portion size. We asked staff to see hotel and beach at the top They said that we should just say same to reception and one guy will come with us We asked reception people. They said all chalets are full and bluntly said no to come with us As we wanted to see main hotel. Lobby and beach but couldn’t Drove from Accra not for only pool Didn’t expect that low end service and behavior

Leider hält das Resort nicht mehr das was es verspricht. Die Villen sind sehr nett und wirklich liebevoll ausgestattet. Leider werden die Strände nicht sehr sauber gehalten. Von der Weinkarte ist die Hälfte nicht verfügbar. Die erste Flasche Champagner war verkorkt, gut passiert halt ab und zu. Das Verständnis dafür war anfänglich nicht da. In Anbetracht von fast 1000 Euro pro Nacht aber eher weniger akzeptabel.

Sooo many great reviews and yet its impossible to get management''s response on an inquiry. I will rate it 5 for the environment, its beautiful but trying to get through to management to respond to us has been impossible. We have tried everything - I mean EVERYTHING. We have tried calling multiple times, management is always in meetings, they offer to call back and nothing, we send emails and no response, we even drove there hoping that will change things and still nothing. It's quite puzzling. Not sure if its the business they don't want or if it being racist or if management is naive.... but our experience so far with the management has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing. All we wanted was to have a wedding there and the experience has been as if we were trying to put a thread through a needle. Anyway I figured the least I could do was put my grievances online. White Sands is beautiful but my goodness, the service from management needs a lot of work. I came there with a friend who works with the world bank and another friend who works with the US Embassy who wanted to hold their wedding there . We were so excited about this place but we have honestly just run out of steam. Its been two weeks and nothing! If you are the owner and reading this, please rethink your management because theres something really off. If you keep treating your potential customers like this, you might end up with no customers at all :(

I came to the place no visitors was there also we request the security at the gate to allow 1 person to go and see facility bcoz i didn't saw any car or visitor at there place but security said we must pay and go onside to just watch and if you don't like don't come next time. So management look into the matter no one will come if you don't have good Welcome and Friendly nature

Google maps will take you through a very long and very bad route. Better off sticking to the main road. Very warm welcome on arrival. Staff polite. Butler available at the villa which made life much easier. We were shown round the beautiful resort and the beaches are ooooooooh. Great scenery for picture taking. Look out for they ones waterfalls. Totally enjoyed my stay with friends. While touring the property it began to rain and out of no where staff appeared with umbrellas! Customer service is excellent generally. However the staff embarrassed us when we were checking out. . A towel couldn’t be found so they demanded payment for it. This was settled when the towel was found at the villa and apology remdered. A very unnecessary and avoidable incident. And for the price paid to lodge, a missing hand towel shouldn’t be the reason to chase guests down. That’s why I give 4 star. Otherwise it’s is heavenly. Very expensive property. Go prepared 😀

The place is nice but the roads are not good and at the some time there is a big refuse dump behind the Resort which is not good at all, especially when it is getting burnt.

Beautiful and well laid out resort with a swimming pool that looks like a natural oasis carved out of the landscape. Hungry? Access the seaside restaurant by a short boat trip across the White Sands Lagoon as the beach is a bit removed from the main point of arrival and pool area. Assorted dishes, a bit pricey but good, are available. A part of the beach is dotted with canoes from the local fishing community nearby, and make for beautiful photography. The $20 dollar per head (adult) entrance fee gets you a complimentary drink and access to one of the most beautiful beach resorts in the country. 4 stars for the landscape.

Very classy and luxurious place. Serene and conducive environment. Great customer services with lovely foods and drinks. Organized and smart workers. The rooms are amazing, they aren’t the ordinary ones we always see, the arts and decors are spectacular. The number of pools are quite uncountable. The beach, omg is one in a million. Definitely the best place for relaxation and isolation. They have quite a large space for events too. Touring around is a huge task but an interesting one, the property is huge. Hmm the room prices are quite expensive tho. I won’t recommend to someone on a low budget

Never made it inside - how can you charge GHS130 just to enter the gate? No other 5 star hotel that I've been to in the world, let alone Ghana charges this.

Pros - Still a great getaway and the food is still the best! The staff are really nice and the pool area is a dream. Cons - The beach however is not what white sands used to be. No jet skis, or any of the cool equipment they had before. The shore line for the beach has also moved inward to the land. Add the fact there was also garbage everywhere is the reason for my disappointment. The white sands experience has diminished compared to what it was 8 years ago. Please also note that prices are high!

Beautiful pool and beach, delicious food. The resort is located next to a fishing community, so there is some debris from that in the water, but we had a wonderful time. The staff are wonderful.

5 stars because it is so beautiful and the service is quite good. I didn't stay there, I came to swim for the day. It's 130 cedis a head and they give you towels and lots of attention. They do not serve local dishes. Overpriced foreign food like ratatouille, lol. But still 5 stars
