I had a great time there with my colleagues. It was amazing. However, the conditions of the road leading to the hotel has to be improved. With some renovations and some additional training for the staff, Cliff Haven would be top on the list when searching for best resorts.

Just wonderful. Lovely rooms, comfortable beds and clean beach. Helpful management. Plenty of room for us and two teenagers in the duplex room. Food good, even veggie dishes. At only 90 minutes out of Accra, a lovely weekend away.

My experience was excellent, my family felt at home, I highly recommend the place to everyone, the service is very good and the staff is always attentive to your needs, the food is very well prepared and they adjust to the time you want it . The beach is very clean, quiet and safe. It is the ideal place for a family getaway. The road is not as bad as I had been told, only one section is bad and the other is dirt but easy to navigate. The hotel rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. I honestly loved it and really enjoyed my stay.

Visited for one day - the admission was 50cedis. Well worth it. The place is beautifully located on a pretty, quiet and clean beach. On the day we visited, it was possible to go in the sea, but the waves made swimming difficult. There is also a pool. The hotel buildings are simple, clean and attractive, and the staff were polite and attentive. The two dining terraces almost hang over the beach, and chairs and sunloungers on the beach under palm trees. They have a small but sufficient menu, including vegetarian options. Order meals well in advance, as their kitchen capacity is limited.

Oh Cliff Haven you should change your name to Heaven! What an absolutely incredible time I have had with you. The place is beautiful, the scenery is beautiful, the staff is beautiful, it is so well maintained and clean. The service was unexpectedly great, not typical Ghana service at all. The staff are friendly and accommodating and prompt and receptive, it was service at a level I have never had in Ghana. The food was great and they even made me something I was craving but wasn’t on the menu and it was delicious. Breakfast was huge and delicious which is not what you usually get when it's included. Everyone went out of their way to serve me, I truly felt like a Queen. Thank you Abu, Pricilla, Richard, and Chef Smith, I can’t wait to be back!

Really nice spot! I spent the night there, clean and tidy rooms. Perfect to disconnect from the busy capital and relax for a full weekend or even just for a day. Just above 1 hour drive from Accra. Good food and attentive service.

Sorry, the rooms were dirty , the food wasn't nice, the beach was very nice, clean and calm. We slept a night there, and it was calm, but Acs aren't working perfectly knowing the rooms aren't cheap.

Beach was perfect, clean, safe and peaceful. Great hospitality. Affordable. Wil come back for sure. Was a bit concerned about the the traffic but was oke oke with a 1.15 hour from Accra, the drive was worth it to escape the overrated busy places in Accra that i was used to.

We spent 2 nights at Cliff Heaven, I booked a duplex for 4, and asked for an extra bed for 3rd kid. The place is beautifully located, the duplex is bright and clean, however.. as we arrived, late in the afternoon, the room was prepared only for 2 people. After a while I asked for suppling bedsheets for kids and towels for everyone. We got an extra bed and two towels only. I asked again and the staff attempted to prepare the sofa for sleeping, which was old and wobly and the metal pieces of what was a mattress 'once upon the time' were going directly into your flesh. Hardly possible to spend a good night on it for anyone. Next day I asked for something usable and was met with a rebuff of the manager who told me that he's doing me a favor anyways, supplying us with an extra bed (for which I have asked 2 weeks ago when booking this place!). Eventually we got another matteras to sleep on the floor (which was OK) and 2 more towels. In overall it would be a nice place if it would have a better management, looking into the things like a broken tap and something to hang your clothes on in the bathroom etc, a proper bedding to sleep for 4 (and if the duplex is marketed for 4 sleeping places, please put at least a fan downstairs, it's a hot place!). We have also waited almost 1 hour to get our breakfast served, which was a lil too long for me, even if I don't expect an instant service. But a plus that there were some fresh fruits! :-). Beautiful view from the restaurant and a clean beach πŸ–, but some care should be put into the accommodation and welcoming the clients.

A nice beach experience if you want a clean beach and don't want to go too far from Accra. Meals needs some improvement. But altogether it was a nice getaway, very friendly staff and great service. Will recommend!

Loved this place! Definitely one of my new favorite beaches that I discovered. Two few downsides were , firstly it took a while to have someone check in to see if we needed any further drinks after the initial drinks. In fact I had to go ask at the restaurant/ bar to place an order for extra drinks but they were apologetic and catered to us very quickly. Second thing was the margaritas were served in maybe the smallest glasses I’ve seen. For the price they need to be served in standard margarita glasses not coupe glasses and they were quite tart. Besides those two things I have no other complaints. The road is rough leading up to the entrance but that’s not the fault of the place so I won’t hold that against them. We loved it so much! Definitely can’t say enough nice things about the cleanliness of the establishment and the food . Keep it up.

Great clean accommodation, affordable rates, very peaceful and quiet. The Sea food is simply amazing and was prepared on time. Staff are friendly and management is very professional. The beach is clean and there's a nice walk to the either sides. As for accessibility, a saloon car will have no issue if there's no heavy rain. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a city break, drive from Accra is around 1 hour.

A really well kept secret. An hour and a bit outside Accra. Turn off at the Kasoa junction. Very clean and quiet beach. Great if you want to relax. The staff are friendly and service is generally good. The menu could do with some expansion - more options would be great. There are rooms if you want to spend a few nights. Call ahead to book. Due to Covid restrictions turning up unannounced is not encouraged.

Such a beautiful place once you enter and get to see the beach. Took a trip there precovid. Food was great!. I remember enjoying everything I had. The room was clean and very spacious (we chose the two level room with the bedroom upstairs and living room downstairs. Wow what a view. Can’t wait to visit soon.

It’s a must experience! Totally worth the distance from the eastern region of Ghana. Fee is 40 cedis for beach access and during the week, you could bring your home cooked meals to have a great time. Ask of Barbara she’s excellent at her customer service!

If you are trying to impress yourself, or others, there are other venues, much more expensive, that will suit your bill. Cliff Haven is simplicity. The rooms are ridiculously expansive. The beds comfortable. The staff is so polite as to be endearing. And the beach is simply divine. If you want fancy, then please go somewhere else. If you want value, and simplicity, where you concentrate on that which is most important, self and family and friends, Cliff Haven is the place for you. The food ranges from "Very good", to "please take this back". Local dishes are excellent. (I love the RedRed.) The beef kebab (medium rare) are a delight. The jollof, fried rice and fried plantains are "The Bomb". And the cheeseburger (with extra cheese) was one of the best I have had in years. To put it succinctly, if you are looking for Cabo San Lucas style distractions then I advise you to not go to Cliff Haven. If you are looking for simplicity, peace, a beautiful beach without commercialization, where you can contemplate life's mysteries, the Cliff Have is for you.

A lovely secluded beach in the central region. It is a little over an hours drive from Accra but it is worth the experience.

Calm and serene place, especially on weekdays. It is fine on weekends as well compared to other beaches. Has a shallow pool, clean and relatively safe.

Spent a lovely weekend there. Very serene, clean beaches. I was initially disappointed as the exterior looks quite run down but the rooms were perfect. The food was average and pricy but the atmosphere was great. Service was okay too. Enjoyed myself, will definitely return

I enjoyed the serene and neat environment, the beach is neat. But was disappointed as I couldn't get my massage from the spa. The spa wasn't running and it was not indicated on the website. They also need to work on the road cos its really bad. But overall, I loved the experience, as I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have some quietness from the city noise.

It was based on a friend's recommendation we visited the place. Very nice view especially in the evening, it was cozy, serene and very good food. However an entrance fee was charged so was expecting a better service, there was no lime for mojito so we had to change to pinacolada. They should be able to have an automatic switch power option when there is lights out. I love views and good food so will recommend the place definitely
