I spent a day here with some friends in town for the holidays and end of year festivities. We went through to get soke seats not too far from the entrance. The place looked very lively with lots of revelers sitting, chatting and having drinks. There was no temperature check before we entered. Just the sanitizer. We had to scan for the menu. Physical menu has been taken off. Drink options are quite extensive and good. Food options as well. Prices are on the high so prepare properly when coming. The view is great. The lighting at night is beautiful. Good place with good music and awesome for your photos.

Despite an unfriendly welcome when I was forced to handover my bottle of water which I had no intention of drinking on the premises, this is a great place to enjoy a relaxing time by the pool and beach. The quality of food is exceptional and prices not too bad. There are no hawkers on the beach so no one to bother you. This place is highly recommended. There is no admission charge - just pay for food and drink. Service is good.

It's a cool place. I went inside during the day time. They charge 50 ghc for entry at 6 PM but if you will enter late after 9, they will charge 100 ghc. Light and music. Good place to chill.

I rated it 2 stars overall because of the food. Ambience 5* for sure - the set up is amazing, the way it's designed, the view you get from there, the open plan seating where you catch the wonderful sea breeze, the cabanas, absolutely beautiful. You will get some amazing "instagram worthy, living my best life" camera shots there and it's really nice and tranquil in the afternoon, great chill out music, it's a good place to unwind during the day. Service - Room for improvement. The waiting staff were polite but the customer service could be a lot better. Cocktails - They were okay, they looked nice, taste was okay. I've had better cocktails in other bars in Accra. Food - The food was not good at all. A group of us ordered different things and all of it wasn't nice so we couldn't eat it, the chicken was so dry with no flavour at all, just bland. The food was a big disappointment and big waste of money. Presentation of the food was decent looking, but the taste test failed big time. Flies - There were too many flies at the table, one even landed on my cocktail as you can see in the picture. I would definitely go back for the views and atmosphere, but next time I'm absolutely not ordering food!

This place is amazing from the views, to the food to the drinks. One could spend all day here. Bit pricey but so well worth it. First time here. Definitely would recommend this place to anybody.

The new sandbox eats exceptional, there are two restaurants now. The place is amazing, the welcome, the staff, the location. You had the swimming pool and the view of the sea, so chic, classy and great for beautiful photos. I spent a pleasant moment, do not hesitate to go there it is the reference. By cons remember to book and call before.

I simply love this place. My drink was awesome and the music was great. The place is simply gorgeous! You won't regret going here. If you're a tourist you must bring your group here.

Really a nice experience it has been at sandbox. First of all, the customer service from the main entrance, we were welcome by a vibrant young lady along with two security guys. The lady at the entrance on Saturday the 16th would be promoted, she's kind, no cap. One of the security guy was bilingual, always a pleasure to be speaking french with my pairs. For the service , I was pleased , nothing particular than being amazed by the architectural design of the place , the peaceful feeling along with the fact that , drinks may not be that expensive according to "me". However the food ... Nevermind. Overall, after a while in ghana, I've been able to cross-check something on my to-do list and it was wonderfully pleasant.

When I went to this establishment it was on a cold and quiet night , I got a seat facing the ocean…it was chilly but absolutely refreshing! The food came and it was delicious! So were the drinks, the shisha was smoooooooooth very well made . I really enjoyed the food and I think it’ll be a fabulous spot to hangout during the day with friends or even with that special someone.

Overhyped, over priced, and trashy. This place came hyped, and did not live up to its reputation. The only enjoyable aspect about this place was the outdoor seating on facing the ocean. Now the list of cons. We ordered our meal along with a few drinks at 8pm. The drinks came quickly, and while we enjoyed them several other tables were seated around us. So now about 45 minutes have passed, and the server just now brings a few plates and cutlery to the table, which gives us a bit of hope. I flagged down our waitress and another server about 30 minutes later to inquire about our food. Every table that had been seated after us had been served, and I was told 5 minutes our food would be out. At this point I am very frustrated, especially since we all ordered from a section of the menu called "Easy Eats", with a name like that I would assume it would be "Easy" to get our meal to the table. So now I am ready to leave, my wife is starving and begs me to wait a few more minutes. A total of 1 hour 45 minutes after ordering, we receive our meal. We were not impressed. My wife had the Lamb Kabob with mashed potatoes, I had the "South African Sirloin" and our friend had the Fish. Most of the meal was not edible, resembling microwave dishes. Our friend enjoyed her fish, but could not stomach the potatoes, neither could my wife. The sirloin was a complete joke, as they used pepper in the chimichurri, and so much that it wasn't even enjoyable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you are in the area, and want an enjoyable meal, with better prices then I would suggest going to Rehab.

A really nice place to chill with an awesome view of the waves and the ocean. Lots of space and different areas to sit. The cabanas by the pool look really inviting! A good vibe with good service and food.

We had an absolutely lovely experience today with our server Ian and the rest of the staff. Food was delicious and prompt. Our every need was attended to. Pool was a good temperature and towels were provided. The view and amapiano music were much appreciated ! Thank you Sandbox team for the warm welcome.

A quiet nice casual place to hang out at in the evenings & at night with a great view of the Gulf of Guinea with ships on the ocean in sight. There's space available to park in the place with no guarantee security. Seatings are comfortable with tables by them and the night sky over your heads and cool sea breeze blowing in from the sea. Waiters are neatly dressed and sometimes quite overwhelmed with orders due to the sheer number of customers from different places. You could take a walk on the sandy beach with some rocks if there's still day light to kill but this option is usually not available if the sun goes down for safety reasons I believe. They have assorted alcoholic drinks, cocktails & beers on their menu with side meals like spring rolls and khebab available too. It however takes time to get served if you order at your table. You should definitely try out some of their cocktails. There's a DJ on site with assorted genres of music in the background, not too loud. You can pay cash or by Visa cards here. This is definitely a place to hang out occasionally. Cheers!!

Beautiful space but service was unfriendly and slow. I waited 20 minutes for a glass of wine and had to seek someone out to place a food order, despite the restaurant being almost empty. The drinks menu is limiting and geared towards bottle service. The food was fine but not to the same standard as other places I visited in Accra. However, the music was excellent and perhaps later in the evening there would have been more of an atmosphere

Exquisite architecture, good food, scenic ocean views but dirty beach. Visited the club in June and the access to the beach was restricted due to Covid 19 pandemic. However, the beach was covered in rubbish. Many people come here for the ocean view and the beach is part of the view, so a dirty beach is like an offence to club's clients. It's a pity for such an elegant venue to be affected by the flies coming from the garbage on the beach. Anyway, I have enjoyed the food (delicious shrimps with jolloff rice), the beer, the music and the overall ambiance. Next time I'm going to try some cocktails and I do hope that the cleaning standards will be improved.

Had one of the best experiences of my life hanging out there. Talk of ambiance for relaxing, customer services, food, drinks...I love sandbox. Pool area is so enthralling and relaxing as well. One thing I observed and loved was that you have to be classy and not trashy in terms of clothing, if not you will be restricted from entry. They have a standard and delighted they are stern on it. This is a great place to hang out when you want to go to the beach. Check them out and book a spot ahead of time. Thank me later😘

Amazing veiw, Private and great service!!

Went at 12.30pm on a weekday and reserved a spot as knew it would be quiet at this time. No customers were thwre when we arrived. Staff were attentive. Food was delicious and we were able to stay for 4hours in the same place, which was perfect. Would definitely go back

This was a real wow place very spectacular at night with the lights on the sea also a lovely cool breeze. Great atmosphere and music and very good food. I did get overcharged by the waitress but it wasn't a lot and I went home happy.

Went here with my little family and was quite please the staff was quite accommodating to our toddler in a stroller. It is not the best place for a stroller if you want to sit on the areas closer to the beach but nonetheless was perfect for us. The fish tacos and pork burger were so good. Best fish tacos I have had in Accra. The place is beautiful, pictures do not donut justice and the vibe was just perfect as they had a DJ playing music. Make a reservation before attending. The place opens at 3pm each day. Cant wait to visit this place for a night cap.

Lovely sceneray, music policy is fire !!!! , good food , could be better , however they make up with their drinks. Totally worth the price as well. Would definitely go here again when I’m back in Accra .

Beautiful, serene, amazing view, posh interiors, the best beach club in Accra There are options of Photoshoots if you can afford $250 an hour. Pricey but value for your money

The Sandbox beach was lovely, food was great and tasty, staff courteous, environment is a 100 for me. Watching the Atlantic rise and splash back and forth, moving the cold waves around with it. Sure to visit again.

I saw the place on the internet and it's really amazing experience..excellent service and tasty food specially the grouper fish! The music is good and the environment is nice. Light are beautiful at night! The best is the sea views and you can access the beach as well. Definitely a place to visit in Accra. I will comeback very soon. The staff is friendly and helpful

Sandbox Beach Club has an amazing beach view and swimming pool with delicious dishes and good music for your relaxation.

The was the absolutely BEST spot that I visited while in Ghana. The atmosphere was amazing. Whatever you do, make this one of your stops you will not regret it. You will need reservations.

Our waitress's name was "Princess". She was very friendly and helpful in suggesting foods to suit our tastes. It's important to make a reservation a day earlier on their website, as they're pretty strict with reservations. Another tip is to go for the Pitcher of juice as opposed to glasses if you're a party of 2-4. Definitely pricey but worth the beach view, dope music, and delicious food. BTW, we had the oxtail stew with a side of fried rice, fries and mashed potatoes.

Good beach location with a new touch of architectural aesthetics by the famed David Adjaye. Chef is world class. Fantastic beach views. A good hideout location. Access Road to the location not the best. Great place to have a chill evening with friends. Can’t wait for the reopening.

Such a lovely environment by the seaside. Good food, great vibes. They were out of lobster and lobster Mac n cheese though which was a bummer. Sous chef did come out from the kitchen to see what else he could do on our Platter which was really nice! Another downer is lots of people come just to take pictures which can ruin the ambience. Would still recommend however for the food, service and sea breeze.

Sandbox beach 🏝️ is a place for beach lovers … Located at south Labadi estate . This beach club is available for families, groups or friends hangout.. Their chicken 🍟,cocktails and drinks are inexpensive.. try there and you will never regret going there .

The Location is great, nice view, very clean and everything looks super nice. The pool is great, the cocktails are great. But I can only give 4 stars, because the staff could’ve been more friendly and the food was very expensive and the portions extremely small.

The experience at night was honestly unreal. The DJ playing music against the backdrop of waves hitting the rocks and the beaming lights was just surreal. Shame the DJ stopped playing at around 7pm, the playlist after was still good though. The food was also quite good and the salad dressing which was absolutely delicious.

Love The interior design of this place😍😍 Watermelon spritz was refreshing n nice, peach sangria was too sweet….

Beautiful place, wonderful service and the food, oh, the food board is amazingly delicious and a lot to actually feed 6 people, my favourite part, lol. The night beach view is mesmerising. Totally in love with the place. Toilets are clean too. Everything is good, so far.

Great place to hang out, plenty spaces and nice music, good for parties and functions, free parking across the school, watch out for area boys though outside the building.

Great experience here and beautiful structure. Will recommend to everyone.. But best you find out if they have a program ongoing before you leave home lest you get no relaxation and meet a very busy place.

Our waiter Mr Ian was quite polite and wonderful. I had my baby with me which isn't normally allowed after 5 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays but they made an exception. The view was serene and lovely, but it was quite hot even though we were by the beach. The drinks were okay, and the Mediterranean chicken salad, burgers and tacos were tasty but everything else( mac n cheese, oxtail sauce) was a culinary disaster in my books. All in all, we had a wonderful time.

Life is better at the beach and Sandbox is always a great idea. I have been here a number of times and I love the experience every time. Pretty clean space and lovely ambience. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it. Staff are welcoming, polite and fluent. Gives you an amazing dose of vitamin sea!!! Definitely recommend for relaxation.

The place is nice and just on the beach, but something is missing to make you go again. Food is nice but small portion, I tried cocktail and it was nice. Swimming pool was closed as well. Maybe can be nice to go there during the night as it looks more suitable for some beach party.

I had the pleasure of DJing at this amazing venue! Let me tell you, it has been my favorite venue! It is sooooo sooooo beautiful inside! The beach was very clean which is refreshing! After I rocked the crowd I went and played some paintball!! Be sure to do it! It's by the beach. Turns out the years of watching action movies has made me a great Sniper! I shot down those balloons like I'm a pro! I was soo excited I had to play 2 rounds! I would come back to this venue for any event! Bring family and friends and take in the amazing vibes and atmosphere. Koodos to the owners and staff! They did an excellent job with this place!

What a lovely place right on the beach! Sandbox is on the beach but protected from waves. It's a lovely view of the Atlantic Ocean as you sip your drink, eat and enjoy good music and a good time with friends. It's an ideal party place.

It's a lovely place to visit. Amazing views, good food and good music. Only downside was there wasn't any designated smoking area so I kept smelling shisha and cigarettes. My reason for a 4 star rating. Also the customer service is a little all over the place.
