The nation’s premium university as many may call it, its a very Conducive environment for students to learn and lodge. The surroundings are very clean as well with greens all over. The Students themselves are very poor at giving directions though, I think there should be more sign post directing vehicles and people to landmarks on campus.

The University of Ghana, Legon is the premier university and the largest university in Ghana and was founded for the purpose of providing and promoting university education, learning and research. It is poised to distinguish itself in the area of research making an impact at the national and international level. Soooo many courses are offered here and it serves as the mother of many private universities in Ghana.

Conducive environment for studies. One of the best universities in the country and in West Africa so far. I actually don’t like how the driveways have been constructed, very confusing and I find it very hard to locate certain halls and the students are very poor at giving accurate directions. More signposts should be plotted for proper navigations.

This university has a very serene environment with all the amenities a university may want. It has beautiful people from all walks of life coming to study to be a better person and contributing positively to the world. The university has well stocked air-conditioned libraries at each department of the school. It has a stable WiFi connection in the libraries for the students, staffs and the and the entire university community. This university boosts of several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes which has made it the number one in the country and top five in Africa.

It is a nice experience to be on the campus. The place is very spacious and there are various facilities which enhance the teaching and learning process. There are also various halls and hostels for the students whether international or local. There are also a variety of market places where students and other outsiders go to purchase their needs. In a nutshell, University of Ghana is a whole community on its own.

University of Ghana, Legon main campus is relatively covid-quiet compared to same time last year. The air is constantly refreshed by the numerous trees spread all over the place. With fewer cars moving in and out and around, the atmosphere is virtually exhaust-safe for a good walk any time of the day. One beautiful and very convenient feature of this campus is the increasing cover of pavements and walkways along most of the streets. It's refreshing to see clean lawns, refuse cans, and waste plastic receptacles put in strategic places. However, I'd wish to see garden chairs in the botanical garden, so visitors can sit as well as walk about and enjoy the natural flora, and tarred garden roads to spare visitors the dust generated by drive-through cars!

The University of Ghana is the best university in Ghana. It has the best business school, law school, medical school, and school of social sciences. The University also has the Balme Library, which is the best and most equipped library in Ghana.

A very nice place with lots of facilities however, it's very scary at night as one could be robbed. The hostels there aren't many to accommodate the number of students who are admitted every year.

Good. But it takes a while to find your way around. I had a guide to take me around my departments in the morning, and another in the evening. Hopefully I will be able to do it on my own next time. But I think Google maps will help, and you can make labels.

We were at the Ajax Parks; 1 and 2. The parks are well kept and maintained. The University's Hall Teams train there late afternoon Sundays. The footpath to the park from the Okponglo junction is a little bit lonely so you might consider a taxi or a an Uber to the place or possibly use the long route via the Security Post. The parks can be used by reservations/bookings only. There are no seats available though so you would have to bring along yours if you plan watching a game.

The University of Ghana is the oldest and largest of the thirteen Ghanaian national public universities. It was founded in 1948, in the British colony of the Gold Coast, as the University College of the Gold Coast, and was originally an affiliate college of the University of London, which supervised its academic programs and awarded degrees. After independence in 1957, the college was renamed the University College of Ghana. It changed its name again to the University of Ghana in 1961, when it gained full university status. The University of Ghana is situated on the West view of the Accra Legon hills and at the northeast of the centre of Accra, now has various schools, institutions, colleges and departments and has over 40,000 registered students

Excellent natural environment for studies. Full of greens and a wonderful cool garden to refresh yourself. The excellent car park project makes you have conducive and secure place for parking whichever block you visit. The security on campus is also excellent since security officers are at strategic points all-over campus.

👍👍 Best place to start the night out for pregame. The best thing to grab is the 5 fingers, go for the strong. The current price is 35cedis. There's good food behind it as well. Fried yam and chicken and fried rice and chicken as well. Can get crowded on weekends but it's one of the best places to start...
