On my first visit to Accra, I was disappointed to not visit Heritage Restaurant due to a lack time, yet this was on my list of things to do. When I returned, I and a bunch of buddies made sure to check out as I am a big fan on Indian food, especially the curries. And boy oh boy was I glad to have dropped by! Right upon entrance, the cool ambience and colourful decor were an instant hit. I could not wait for the food. We ordered various items including lamb curry, chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka masala and chicken butter curry, to go with naan bread, vegetable pulao and cocktails. We were presently surprised by the food. Immense flavour, tasteful, good spices, not too hot on the pepper/chill, and all-round nice made the combinations a delightful welcome on the senses.! We all had a blast, enjoyed the food to our taste, and had some good fun. The blue lagoon cocktail was the biggest I have seen in my life, and it was just perfect. When I come back to Accra I will definitely be coming back and bringing everyone I can! I love Indian cuisine and this was just a wonderful experience for me and my pals.

Had my first ever Biryani yesterday. After the starter and mango lassi, I barely had room to eat the main meal and I couldn't even get in dessert. I really wanted to try their sizzling brownie. I remember biting into the mutton samosa and the juices and flavor were just stellar. I am definitely going back there. Their drinks don't scrimp. If you know, you know!

I hv been here in Ghana for almost 2 years now And finally made time to head to heritage for late lunch . We ordered for veg platter - 9/10 { they shud hv given some dips to go with it } Assorted bread platter - 10/10 { it was nice for the price , I mean 2 can share the same } Achari chicken -3/10 { nothing achari about it , they just put some boiled chicken in some lame gravy and served } Pineapple juice - 0/10 { I was served the same with a house fly 🪰 - though I had asked for no toppings } As we had been there was late lunch There was no one The place seemed to be clean Toilet was OkY too I missed taking the pics of the bread and gravy and specially the juice As I freaked out after I had my 4th sip and found a fly 🪰

OK now Heritage HANDS DOWN is the BEST Indian restaurant in Ghana. They're food is just excellent. It's so good that you wouldn't even want to wash your hands after eating. BUT they're prices are OUTRAGEOUS! It's just way to high. Probably the most expensive restaurant in Accra. I would definitely recommend eating here at least once in your life but only if you got some money.

Ok, some say curry is curry. Well I say there is curry and then there is great curry. This was great curry! We were a group of 5, out for an evening meal. Although we were in the wrong restaurant 😂. This place has an upstairs and downstairs restaurants. Downstairs for Chinese and upstairs for Indian. We will be back to taste Chinese. We go upstairs and it’s spacious. Plenty of room and you do t feel other guests are sitting at your table, like some restaurants. Service was welcoming, and diligent. We ordered drinks which arrived quickly and also placed our food order at the same time. Some restaurants make you wait between drinks and food. Never understood this 🤷‍♂️. We had a number of starters and wowsers! They were all good portion sizes and delivered hot. All were very tasty indeed, did I say they were good portion sizes? Yes they were. My personal favourite was the Hindustani chicken wings, full flavoured and did I say plenty of them? They were all tasty yum yum. Main course was a veritable feast, laid out before us. If I was to say at this point that we needed to temper our hunger with a modicum of control. Was an understatement. Again the portion size was large, I don’t think any of us, actually finished all our main course. Rice, naans, meat dishes were a plenty. I’ve been lucky to taste curry in various places around the world, and this one goes a long way to being, probably the best I’ve ever tasted. Full of flavour and spice and that goes for all the dishes. Did I say there was large portion sizes? Suffice to say we didn’t finish, not through a lack of trying. You would need assistance to get upstairs, if you have any disability. No life, but plenty of staff to help I’m sure. Would I go back? Hell yes, but I would be more conservative in my ordering. Thanks for a great night PS. Looking forward to trying the Chinese next 😋

Some colleagues and I visited Heritage for dinner and we all left very impressed by the wonderful food and amazing service. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and everything was delicious. As with all Ghanaians, the wait staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The chef even came out to check on us! It was a very nice experience and I know I will be back on my next trip to Accra.

03.02.2022 Dear Heritage Restaurant Firstly thank you for your feedback on my review. Secondly it takes alot for a restaurant manager to acknowledge and to rectify the concerns with regards to the food I received, for that I applauded you for that. Exceptional customer care is something that is not found in many place. Thirdly the food was fabulous and very tasteful. It was even better than the 1st one we had. Please keep it up, keep you food quality consistent. I will surely come to the restaurant for a sit down dinner with my family. Again I'm impressed with the way this was handled and the food again. Regards That's the thing with consistency. I ordered actually the same dish as I did Tuesday evening. And wow what a big difference. Your briyani tonight was horrible the chicken also tastes off. Your garlic naan is extremely thick and chewy. Your Rita says mixed but only has tomatoes and looks like the yogurt used was also off. On Tuesday you had me as a customer and tonight you disappointed me so badly.

One of my best experiences of Indian food in Ghana. The service, food and ambiance was outstanding. The lamb samosas were excellent. Flavor, seasoning and meat fantastic. The tandoori chicken Biryani was so good and arrived in a cooker. It drew attention from others in restaurant arriving at table. The flavor was excellent. I’m definitely going back with my visit to Ghana.

Not so tasty. Good interiors but food was not upto the mark. When it is an Indian restaurant, we should get a feel of having food in India. But did not get that feel.

The best restaurant I visited in Accra. The staff are pros. The food taste, variety 😋 and taste are ammmmazing. The management and owners are there and monitoring. It was raining cats and dogs. We were 3. From the car door to the entrance, each one of us is covered by an umbrella . We felt very taken care of.

They have the best Dosas (though South Indian is not available on Tuesdays). We ordered Onion Bhajia (Fritters) with Indian Chai (as it was raining outside) and it was a treat for the taste buds. Thanks to Sonu, the Manager and Gyan for ensuring we had a great experience. Don't forget to try their Chicken Garlic Kebab too.

My love for Indian food started at hyatt regency so i decided to visit heritage when i got home here in ghana. Customer Service is great. My expectation for the food was every high but my food was served cold, thus where I got disappointed. The Non-veg thali combo was my order.( garlic flat bread was ok) Maybe I try a different meal next time. But this did not work for me. I liked the mango latti tho.

Food Quality is the best and Service well organised. While you wait for take away, the best part is Espresso Coffee ☕makes the wait more pleasant. These days there are no crowd at the Restaurant due to COVID-19 restrictions from the Government. Take away Service is at its best.

I ordered a mushroom vegetarian dish and it was very delicious. I really do appreciate the great customer service at Heritage. My first experience was not so great due to a dish I ordered but the owner corrected it providing me with a much better experience. Thank you for your great customer service and food. Restaurants, like Heritage, with great customer service are worth returning to and I will definitely patronize the restaurant again.

The worst indian food I've had in a long time. Taste and texture were all wrong. Standard curry dishes did not come with rice (you had to purchase separately). Cost was exorbitant compared to other areas restaurants. Service was professional and nice and the restaurant itself is beautiful, but the food is absolutely not worth it.

Lovely spot. Staff very attentive and professional. I had the vindaloo. It was OK. after all the rant online I was expecting a dish with more heat complexity and spice. It was not bad, just not what I expected. Perhaps for the purpose of appeal to a broader audience. But I feel like if you eat vindaloo, then you know what your are asking for. I do recommend eating there. The food is tasty at a good price point, just not authentic for me

A mixture of more traditional (UK recognisable dishes) and modern street food options. Visited as a group of 9 (5 adults, 4 children). There was something for each of us on the menu, even for the most delicate of palettes (my 7 year old). We booked a table for 1730 and so I have notched down a couple of points on atmosphere because we pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. As we approached 2000 it started to become busier, and I suspect that Heritage is bustling later on the evening (with diversity - a good sign). Had a brief chat with the manager, who asked that I post a review. I am posting this on my own volition because we had an enjoyable evening and were impressed with the service and flavours.

We went to heritage twice in our recent trip to Accra. Place is super cool. We ordered Pani Puri, dal tarka, dum aloo, rice, Palak paneer, dosa, samosa chat, and roti. Had icecream after dinner. If you want to enjoy authentic Indian food. Heritage is a right place to visit.

Whereas the service is 10/10, the food is average at best. For their high price point I was expecting the best ingredients and an amazing experience (they chefs are Indian themselves) but that's sadly not what I got. Their interior is very nice, although their AC is cranked so low it feels like winter. Service - honestly best I've encountered in Ghana. The servers are attentive, friendly, and very helpful. Now their food. I thought I was going to get a plate full of amazing Indian food, but it wasn't really the case. Whereas their veg pakora was very nice, my aloo kulcha (potato stuffed indian bread) was way too oily for my liking. But that's just the smallest thing. I was really looking forward to my main mushroom makai matar (mushrooms and corn in mildly spicy gravy) and was utterly disappointed. For 62ghc (~11€) price point I was expecting to be vowed. But they use CANNED mushrooms and corn, which means that the authentic taste of vegetables is totally gone. While it does not taste horrible, just below average, the quality does definitely justify the price. So my main was a disappointment. All in all, an average experience. Street food in India far surpasses in taste and ingredients, and is 85% cheaper.
