Writing this review this morning whiles enjoying some left overs from last nights dinner and I’m so happy. I will cherish my friend forever for taking me here. First proper introduction to Lebanese food and I’m a believer 🤣 Quiet, cute, private home based restaurant. It’s not a place you will most likely chance upon unless you are taken there or find it on Google map. I get the sense that most people that come there are regulars and new people stand out. Lol. I didn’t mind. You need to make a reservation and I believe it’s open only from 7pm - 10pm. Limited seating. I enjoyed everything I had. Menu is mostly 65ghc and up. Portions are fair and shareable. Mobile money payment or cash. They didn’t have a POS at the time of my visit

Best restaurant in Accra so far after being in Ghana for over a week. It serves Lebanese food. The tabbouleh had a touch of mint that I never encountered before and it was great. The beet and goat cheese salad was huge, and the dressing was tasty. The hummus was also good, but it could have used more tahini or been a little bit more sour for my taste. The beef kabob was good, but the meat was a little gummy and I would have preferred more grilled vegetables on the skewer other than a few pieces of onions. The sauteed potatoes that came with the kebab were not overly done and were soft in the center. The vanilla Lebanese ice cream was a bit mastic and unusual, but it was tasty. The chocolate Lebanese ice cream was what you expect as being ice cream and tasty. The Lebanese coffee was lukewarm and far inferior to Ethiopian coffee-- the coffee was the worst part of the meal. The exterior and interior of the restaurant were the cleanest that I have encountered in Accra. The interior of the restaurant was very modern and the A/C was ice cold. The apparent owner was very friendly and talkative. The service could have been a little bit faster in clearing our dirty plates. Otherwise, this has been the best value restaurant by far in Accra during my stay here so far.

I must admit that this is one of the finest Lebanese cuisine I have sampled in Ghana! The consistency of the homos is just lit and buttery! The citrusy flavour in the tabouleh is just perfect and mild on the pallet! The service is excellent! The waiters, Kingsley and Prosper, are very attentive and courteous. The cherry on top is when the “head waiter” who happens to be the owner’s husband charms with his vivacious personality! The Head Chef and owner, Vivian, is such a lovely lady and definitely has great culinary skills. A must visit!

Authentic Lebanese food. The food is so amazing, if I could have it every day, I would. It's just that good. And the owners keep checking on you to find out if you enjoy yourself.

I had dinner at Vixies earlier this week. What I can say unequivocally, this restaurant is in my top 5 worldwide and as part of their extensive menu is the most authentic Lebanese food! The ambiance and service is incredible and the food, did I say the food!!! I even got the chance to see chef Vicky, AWESOME!

Vixie's is a hidden and usually quiet (compared to similar restaurants in Ghana) place, which is a family owned restaurant. The owners are very much of involved in the business and come and talk to the guests table by table. You may not see them on social media or anywhere else, even there is no sign at the door, because their customers advertise them anyway! The food is delicious, I mean delicious! The menu has pretty wide selection and most of it is meze or appetizers to share. We probably have tried at least the half of the menu so far and I don't remember any disappointment. Abdo, one of the owners (with his mom), would tell you how they make many ingredients by themselves or which ones they grow in their garden, etc. I am not going to mention all the dishes one by one but feel free to order anything without any doubt. Prices are pretty fair compared to what you are getting. We usually pay somewhere between 200-300 Cedis for two people without drinking alcohol, but we get so much food for that price. Long story short, this place is very underrated.

Definitely adding this place to my list of hidden gems in Accra. Home cooked meal with pricier dishes being accounted for with savory food and big portions! Had some trouble finding it at first bc it was dark and there were no signs, but the guard sitting outside led us through this gate and voila! A wonderful meal out on the porch. Walking out with a big bag of leftovers for tomorrow and too full to breathe.

Holy smokes this place is delicious. I think we tried ten different dishes. Many were fantastic and none were bad. For me the stand-outs were a fish in tahini sauce that blew my mind, the house made pickles, succulent juicy lamb kebab, and a Lebanese salad that was amazing. Honestly it’s hard for a salad to be best-in-class but wowza I’m still thinking about that one two days later. Atmosphere is inviting w nice outdoor space w lights fans and an overhead grape arbor. Owners are very friendly.

What a pleasure. You may be confused at first because there is no sign... But enter the brown gate and prepare for a lovely evening of delicious food, great conversation, and special attention from the owner. We had the fatoosh, which is the best I have ever had, anywhere. The baba ganoush was smoky and perfect. The falafal were tasty and when you ate it with the tahini and mint (and other accompaniments) it was out of this world. We had the lamb kofta which was spiced and cooked perfectly. I'm only here one more day or I would go back again and again. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A dinner at Vixie's is simply a delicious feast! We came with a bigger group and tried almost all dishes, sharing of course. It was of big advantage to have a Lebanese friend order the different dishes. It was the most delicious Lebanese food I have ever tasted! Very nice hosts!

The worst example of what customer service in a business should be about. Always an excuse as to why they cannot take an order, even if a heads up is given. My dear, even Michelin stars know the importance of accommodating their customers and the power of word of mouth in the F&B industry. Repeat customers are mainly what makes any business successful, unfortunately, in this business it seems like they do not give importance to that aspect. Sometimes all businesses need a reality check after ONLY good reviews, to show where we are lacking/ can improve. Goodluck. What a sad way to address a complaint- refuse to recognize. Pathetic.

I selected this restaurant based on its excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. The patio seating area is brightly lit and welcoming. The service was attentive and friendly. At the recommendation of the owner, Abdo, I limited my ordering to two starters: hummus and chicken livers cooked in a pomegranate syrup. Both were superb. I accompanied that with a serving of arak, which was delicious (so long as you like anise/licorice). I thought the overall experience was excellent and look forward to returning before I fly home.

Lovely food in a very pleasant setting. Vixie's is easy to find on maps. It's not a restaurant in the normal sense so don't be surprised when it takes you to a normal compound gate. We were a large group and had a mezze selection. Great choice. Lots of veggie options, and everything very tasty. Staff and owner really pleasant and friendly. The only downside was that the tables are those high bar-style tables and stools, which are very uncomfortable, especially for smaller females. Hopefully they will be replaced with normal ones at some point. It wasn't a big enough issue to take away a star.

Lovely couple running this authentic Lebanese restaurant in the heart of Accra. All the dishes are essentially home cooked meals. We selected this restaurant based on the fantastic reviews. It did not disappoint - the ambiance is warm, the host welcoming and the food amazing. Highly recommended. We however almost ran into a situation as they do not have a POS machine. Highly encourage the owners to embrace digitization and invest in this as most people do not carry cash these days!

after months of hearing good word of mouth reviews, my experience at this establishment left a very sour taste in my mouth. as soon as we got out of the car, we felt like were trespassing on private property. a man intercepted us questioning what we were doing there. we were treated like intruders, despite mentioning it was our first time there. this man turned out to be the host, who asked angrily if we had a reservation and then told us it’s reservations only, even though the restaurant was completely empty. despite this he still led us towards the seating area. as i was walking to a set table, he exclaimed “not there!” while pointing sharply to another table. his entire body language was rude and condescending. apparently we did not seem worthy of respectful communication, even as paying customers. by the time i sat down i was so shaken by the brazen hostility that i couldn’t even read the menu. it felt like we were being bestowed a privilege to even sit down there. we got up and left, all the while being completely disregarded by the host. this super disappointing experience spoiled what was meant to be a great evening. i was very excited to try the food here, as i’ve heard great reviews and love lebanese food! however the message was clear — we are not welcome, and so we will never return. i’m still shaken by the experience. several days later, i find myself wondering if we would have been treated better if we looked different.

This place is a hidden gem. Family owned restaurant that has been around for 7 proud years in the same location. I have to say I'm very rusty on my middle Eastern cuisines and I had some help from the owners, do the same if you need the help and you won't be disappointed. My better half found a place where he can eat authentic Middle Eastern food. Heads up: make a reservation before hand

You must try Vixie’s when in Accra. Best Lebanese food ever! The restaurant is actually at the home of the owner and chef. They have done a fantastic job of creating a very cozy charming atmosphere in their courtyard outside. Lights hang atop a pergola and lots of different table settings while music plays in the background. It is very Covid friendly in regards to social distancing. We had a group of 6 and ordered family style to be able to try and share several dishes. Everything was amazing. Everything! We also ordered delicious red wine that was recommended by the owner. He was our server and treated us like friends at his home. His wife Vixie is the chef and she came out to say hello at the end of our meal. You will love this place and this food, don’t miss it! I can’t wait to go back when I’m in town again.

Incredible Lebanese Food, ambiance and a personal touch make this a go to restaurant in Accra. Hummus and tabouli were simply authentic. We tried the garlic grouper and it was done to absolute perfection with exquisite depth of flavor. The charming Covid friendly outdoor atmosphere adds to the elevated experience. And we got to meet both the owner Abdo and his wife Vicky who does the cooking. Make reservations in advance! They're only open from 7pm-10pm. Highly recommended.
