Went on a Saturday night with my wife to have dinner without reservation and we were able to get a table with little wait. Foodwise was okey but not great given the prices: I had the south african entrecot and my wife the grouper and the onion soup. For dessert we had the cremme brule and a chocolate cake. The entrecot was a bit dry (probably because it was too thin) and the desserts were okeyish. My wife really enjoyed the soup and the grouper though but prices are a bit too high perhaps. We had two cocktails and a french bottle of wine to drink. Wine was great but cocktails just okey. We spent a month in Ghana and we decided not to come back to this place based on price-quality ratio. We enjoyed more Santoku and Le Magellan but if you can't leave without French food perhaps this is the place for you.

Food wasn't bad ,but previously was much better , Steak requested well done wasn't well cooked and when he return it cut into 3 pcs ,I believe there is a change in the kitchen staff cs I notice big difference ,the owners are really cool and welcoming I hope they will work again to re improve the food ,I will give it another try cs it's been always a nice place ....

They are opened for lunch, then close again for dinner. Unique French delicacies are served throughout the day. They fly in fresh oysters from France via KLM/AirFrance for the seafood lovers. Professional staff and a decent ambience makes for great meetings and business dining. A fully stocked bar is where they really make their money. Great wine and spirit collections. Recommended for couple looking for an upscale romantic meal.

I tried La Chaumière for the first time, it's a French Mediterranean Restaurant around the Airport Residential Area. Almost my first time I will go to a restaurant and I will be served Olive , Groundnut and Hot Baguette as complimentary till my food is ready. That alone captured my heart about this restaurant. My starter was Soupe à l'oignon, gratinée ( Gratinated onion soup ) 😍. Second starter was Soufflé au fromage ( Cheese soufflé ) My main , Emincé de poulet à la crème et aux tomates séchées ( chicken breast with cream et sun dried tomatoes ) also main Sole rôtie à l'ail ( Baked sole fish with garlic ). I love their services and hospitality. Everything I ordered was to share with my wife and the chef was so thoughtful to share our orders in separate plates and it was so filling. We both loved it and had a good time and moments to remember forever. This is a typical French Restaurant with the deco , paintings and interior.

We enjoyed the food but unfortunately we didn’t receive good service. We ate our entire meal and not once did anyone check on us, offer us water or any thing to drink. It was obvious that we were forgotten about which was really strange because there weren’t many guests dining. They also took forever to bring our bill. I was really disappointed.

La Chaumiere is a nice restaurant for romantic and cozy dinner in Accra. Good location and easy to access and they have a big parking in front. If you miss the taste of French cuisine, they serve some french dishes alongside some Mediterranean ones. However, don't expect a magical food, the food is not bad, you should be careful when you select and ask because some of their dishes are spicy. As for service is average, from reviews I expected way better service, I could rate my experience with service below average, it took 25 mn to come to us to order and starters came after another 25 mn and not complete. We ended up going to this place after an event so we were all looking forward to having a good meal. We decided to sit at the rooftop lounge so we can enjoy some cocktails. The music was so loud that we can hardly talk to each other without shouting. The place was empty and we cannot get a proper service because all of the servers have congregated on one side, oblivious to their few guests. The food menu alone took them 15 mins to bring and brought 1 set for a party of 7. For such a group in an almost empty place, you would expect people will constantly check on us or at least would be on close by but no, we had to constantly grab their attention or sometimes walk towards the bar to get any service. It took us more than an hour to finally eat and the food came no serviettes, no silverware were served. When the food came, some of it was cold and mine tasted terrible that I hardly touch it after 2 bites. I heard that the food is supposed to be good but the whole experience was an utter disappointment. The waiters were rude and clueless and to add insult to the injury, they billed us unnecessarily for some items we did not order/consume that it took us another 20 minutes to settle the 'mistake'. Yes, times are hard and most businesses have been brought to their knees but dishonesty is not the way to bounce back. Maybe dining downstairs might be a different experience but I would rather not come back here nor recommend this place.

I think this is one of the best restaurants in Ghana. They are a little on the expensive side out of $$$ they would be $$$ but it's completely worth it once you've had the food. My go to recommendation would be the Sole Manure or if you don't like fish you can try their chicken in cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes.

The ambience is cool and relaxing. Perfect for that intimate dinner and their choice of songs is really good. Neat washrooms, friendly waiters and a super friendly manager.
