3/5 would be a great marking for me. First of all , never tasted Mexican food before despite the fact I've watched a lot of travel/food videos about it. La cocina Mexicana does try , with the decor, it's very welcoming and has a good Mexican ambiance which I think is know to be vibrant and colourful. Fir the service , I like the fact that , our waitress , forgot her name went the extra mile for getting us a charger for me to be taking pictures and videos. That's awesome and extra service , we do appreciate as customers. About the food , I won't be harsh nor too satisfied. The food does look good , the tacos, the quesadilla and the burrito were all fine just the taco being on the salty side for me , but cooked nicely. You can feel the corn on the tacos and quesadilla shell which makes the food proper to the Mexican cuisine but I am not a big fan of corn then it won't be a WOW from me. Overall , the intention is there , the decor, the service make the experience nice. Asta la proxima mi amigos. (LOL, hope my Spanish is still good)

Casual environment with excellent affordable Mexican food. Don’t miss the four salsa for appetizer. Black beans are awesome. Outdoor seating but with large shades to block sun so great for daytime.

Awesome place with great customer service. When we visited there we tried their tacos and burritos and the tacos was awesome. The burritos was good but I did not enjoy them so much but my friend seems to love them. The sauces that came with the tacos was awesome a fiery one and a pineapple base one, they where both great. The place is all filled with Mexican painting and characters from popular Mexican animations like Coco and others. There was Mexican music too. An amazing place to go enjoy Mexican food the Mexican way.

Loved everything about the place. The burst of colour and graffiti on the wells really lift your spirits. The special taco Tuesday promo is absolutely genius and I can’t wait to go there again. Absolutely 100% recommend.

First time in LA Cocina Mexicana and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing artwork. I didn't really enjoy my seafood burrito. I felt that the burrito should have gotten more spices and flavor. I ordered for the churros and they were fire🔥. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Went there Friday night, very cozy joint with outdoor seating. I tried their tacos which were just superb as well as the octopus quesadilla. The only low was the margarita cocktail...( I’ve had better) But overall great experience which I wouldn’t mind repeating again.

First time ever trying tacos. We ordered the Chips and guacamole with a side of habereno sauce. The chips were so oily. Then we orderer for beef tacos and We asked for the hard taco shells and that one came also really oily. Would have preferred if they had a baked alternative. We also ordered salad which was good but the cucumber was really bitter so we took that out.. In all was an OK experience. Now my problem was the mosquitos feasting on my legs under the table 🙈that was terrible.

First of all the service was really good and our waitress was really helpful and nice despite the fact that she had to attend to a number of other tables at the same time. I enjoyed the food as well and the ambiance was good. Prices were okay (ranging as low as Ghs 25 depending on what you get). I will definitely visit again

Long time no taco 🌮 😃 Been meaning to checkout La Cocina Mexicana (The Mexican Kitchen) in East Legon for a while. And I finally did with a spontaneous visit with my faves 🥳 Loved the colorful and artsy decor, attentive staff and quick service (we went early in the eve), but it was really the good company, guacamole, sauces and nachos for me 😋 💜 The beef and chicken tacos were a tad too salty for me, but the lemonade was exactly the refresh I needed after a long week. 🍹 A lovely place with good food and vibes for catching up with friends. This place is great if you haven’t tasted authentic Mexican cuisine in your life! The atmosphere is chill, with light salsa/rumba music playing in the background. Only orders a burrito and a beer, my brother ordered a burrito and a mojito. The burrito was filling but the mojito didn’t really pack a punch. Will come by again.

We ate here last year during a trip and loved it. We drove a distance and I returned with great anticipation but was disappointed. I ordered the nachos which were thick and greasy with unseasoned beef and a layer of cheese just melted over the top with chopped tomatoes, green onions and cilantro. The beef as not seasoned at all. My son ordered a cheese quesadilla. Both were served with some sort of ranch dip. There was no salsa. I was given Asian sweet chili sauce. The plain quesadilla was not a good value for the money. I don't know if it was an off night, but I was very sadly disappointed.

We are from California and Mexican is our favorite so I feel like I had to keep my expectations low. But for Mexican food in Ghana, they do well. Michelada was ok, Paloma margarita was good but not very margarita-y. They didn’t have guacamole so we got chips and salsa. The pico salsa was great, didn’t really care for the other salsas. The chips were over done pita chip but served the purpose. I had cheese enchilada with a side of rice and beans. Enchilada came with a ton of mole sauce and was ok. My daughter got nachos, again they didn’t quite nail the chips but was tasty otherwise. My BIL got the veg tacos, they were ok but not anything he raved about. My husband got the Alambre (which came out as a sizzling fajita type dish) and was probably the best of all the dishes. The atmosphere feels Mexican, except for the Afro pop music videos. Service was ok, not great. I would go back again and try another dish.

La Cocina Mexicana is a neat and very affordable mexican restaurant. They have nice cocktails, i recommend the “waitress daddy” to everyone. Thank me later😉 I suggest they make the food a lot more juicier and use the cheddar cheese which tastes a lot better than the white cheese. Also, the pork burito i had had little to no pork in it, you might want to correct that.

Nice place, the decor was a feast for the eyes and the food was good. The Sobolo and Tequila was outstanding... I had two lol The nachos were good, so was the Veggie Tacos, love the rice and beans.

A+ for the service. Waitress was friendly and attentive A- for the food. It was well cooked and tasty. The pricing is a little above the average but you are getting a quantity that is satisfying. They give you some nice starters when you arrive. C+ for the parking and interior space. There is little to no parking space. The eating space is quite small and will not be able to accommodate a lot of people at once. Parking is also lacking...there is only a small section along the front of the restaurant that is apportioned for parking. If there becomes full you will have to park along the road side. There is a security man in front though, so there is some peace of mind that your car will be safe.

Good Mexican food in the heart of Ghana!!!!!! When these places taco it is an actual taco 🌮! ( Be for I get attacked: I know hard shells are not original tacos. They do have the original taco but I prefer hard shell.) Only people who traveled outside of home country will understand what it is like to have things called one thing and then you're presented another. This place really did my heart good and I love the décor. Sometimes you just need a little bit of home!

So, my friends and I decided to stop by for a quick meal, and we actually found out they having this cool ASSORTED PLATTER FOR -Ghc 200. We so amazed it comes with pizza, assorted rice and noodles and French fries with chicken. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😍😍😍
