I honestly had the absolute best day learning how to cook some traditional Ghanaian dishes (Waayke - my fav, Jollof rice, Shito, Palmnut soup with chicken). Given that I’ve never made such dishes before, I found the learning process so easy to follow. Junior and Aunty are very knowledgeable and kindly answered all my questions. Now back in London I feel empowered and confident to replicate the dishes again and build on them. As a Ghanaian woman I feel it’s very important to add traditional dishes to my offerings. I’ve still got a few more dishes to learn so cannot wait to be back later in the year for those. I highly recommend the cooking classes! You really won’t regret it !!

AJ at Ghanapeople were great. He knowledgeable and makes sure that you are well taken care of. I used him for my trip to Ghana in November 2023 and he created a full itinerary of place to go throughout my entire trip. He was flexible when I wanted to take things out and was always available when I needed transportation. One thing I found valuable is how he negotiated prices among the natives whenever I shopped at the market or bough souvenirs. He made sure I wasn’t taken advantage of as you pay more when to look like you aren’t from there. So AJ made sure we didn’t get swindled. I would recommend him highly and will be using him anytime I go back to Ghana.

What a wonderful experience!!! The itinerary was carefully thought through and well balanced. The trip represented great travel for the cost.
