This place is absolutely fantastic. Iโ€™ve visited a few times and took some amazing pictures of the wildlife that is there. It is clear that the staff really do care for the animals and provide clean and big enclosures for their animals to exhibit their natural behaviors. Of course, no zoo will ever be able to replicate the wild entirely but they are doing their best and it clearly shows. Thereโ€™s plenty of activities for kids to do and plenty of fun for adults as well. There are food stops around the zoo to grab a quick snack as well as gift shops and I especially like the skyfari ride that lets you see the whole zoo from a Birdseye view. I would definitely recommend visiting this place.

Our new favorite zoo ๐Ÿ˜ Plan to spend a few hours..so much to do! Zip line is a fun quick ride (extra $)! Being able to walk amongst and feed and pet deer made my day! We were also able to feed and pet goats. Seriously this place is awesome! We rode a camel (extra $). There is great choices for food and bathrooms throughout. We spent about 4 hours and didn't even get to ride the train, do the maze or the skyline ride (all extra $). Can't wait to go back! Such a fun family day!

This zoo is so beautiful! I really enjoyed the ride that brings you over the zoo! Visited at the best time because all of the baby animals! The little prairie dogs were so tiny and adorable! And all of the baby monkeys just stole my heart!

Can't get enough of this place. We have been visiting this place every year for almost a decade now. Very peaceful, clean, everything is kept natural, great staff and so many activities available for all ages groups. Just pick a date and walk in. Tickets are available online and at the window. Great food options. Great shows lined up throughout the day. Awesome renovated playground. Worlds best deer ๐ŸฆŒ park. I don't think you will find it anywhere else. This time the kids tried the Maze and Zip lining and had the best time . The Gallifords restaurant has awesome gourmet pizza and mashed potatoes for a veggie soul like me. The petting zoo and a bird sanctuary was fun.

One of my favorite places. Animals are all very well taken care of as I know the owner and her family. They've paved alot of the paths so its much easier to push a wheelchair or stroller. And they've added to their exhibits so it's even bigger now! Staff is always super nice and informative. Gallifords restaurant is a great addition too!

A delightful zoo that is well worth the trip! I've never experienced a zoo that features a walk-through deer forest, it's a massive enclosed area with hundreds of deer, and for 50 cents, you can get a handful of dried corn to give to the deer, who will follow you around and interact with you for it. This alone is worth the entry, but there's a lot more, Bengal Tigers, Snow Leopards, Tapirs, Capybara, and Hyenas! I highly recommend this zoo - even on off weather days.

Best zoo in New England. The animal variety is surprising! My favorites today were the Deer Forest where you can walk among and feed deer, the young Emus, the Rhinoceros, the Lions and Bengal Tigers, so many monkey species, and even more birds. The animal enclosures made viewing easy, and the animals are clearly well cared-for. The animal care-takers were great ambassadors and truly went the extra mile answering questions for elementary school-aged kids.

Southwick Zooโ€™s transformation into a Winter Wonderland is a spectacle that truly captures the magic and wonder of the season. This extraordinary light and sound show is not just visually stunning but also an immersive experience that delights visitors of all ages. Our visit, with our daughter and cousins, was nothing short of enchanting. The children were absolutely captivated by the dazzling displays and the interactive elements of the event. Meeting the Grinch in a beautifully recreated Whoville was a highlight, bringing a beloved holiday story to life. Adding to the charm was the wandering magician, whose tricks and performances added an element of wonder and excitement. The live musical performance by Disneyโ€™s Frozen characters, Princess Anna and Elsa, was a dream come true for the little ones. The performance was not only entertaining but also beautifully executed, making it a memorable part of our visit. The Winter Wonderland experience at Southwick Zoo has all the makings of a cherished family tradition. Its ability to create such a festive and joyous atmosphere is commendable. Furthermore, the zooโ€™s commitment to maintenance and operation is evident, which makes us eager to return for a visit in the summer months as well. Southwick Zooโ€™s Winter Wonderland is a fantastic seasonal destination that offers a unique and delightful experience for families. Itโ€™s a perfect way to indulge in the holiday spirit and create lasting memories. Weโ€™re already looking forward to making this a recurring family outing.

We went for the Christmas lights what a fantastic time we had. It was worth the carload ticket price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to go next year. What a beautiful display of lights. You actually drive through the zoo and look at all the lights.

Love the feel of this zoo! Itโ€™s not too big but not too small. Weโ€™ve gone several time and always had a great time! The bird show is a must see. And make sure you bring quarters to feed the deer in the forest.

Best zoo experience! The walk around the park moves at a nice pace and even for a discount weekend day the crowds were not bad and the lines to see exhibits were nonexistent. The animals are all in nice enclosures but theyโ€™re all easy to see and take pictures of from the path. The two interactive animal enclosures were a lot of fun and highly recommended. Great overall experience!

This zoo was absolutely amazing. Definitely going back. I brought my almost 10 month old and she loved all the animal interactions they have- goats and deer to feed and pet. Monkeys and giraffes to watch. Some stuff was closed off due to covid so I can imagine it will be even more fun once they are reopened.

This Zoo was amazing. You can't begin to compare it to "Stone Zoo" or "Franklin Park Zoo". This Zoo is next level. So many animals and the place is huge and Clean. The rides were closed due to COVID-19, but there was still plenty to do. We spent 4 hours here and we still didn't DO everything. My tip to you having gone here with 6 kids. Have quarters and cash on you! You need CASH at the animal rides and quarters to feed the petting zoo animals.

Can see a lot of wild animals. The staff are very polite and courteous. The even provide water to fill your water bottles. The lady at the Giraffe enclosure is super friendly and really is passionate to share knowledge of the giraffe family. Overall a very positive experience. Just make sure you are carrying lot of water to stay hydrated as it takes about 3 to 4 hours to visit all the animals. The skyline is an added bonus and is not too be missed.

I went here with my parents and brother today (8/15/2021) and we had so much fun. The animals were very lively and playful, they were a lot of fun to watch. Best part was the Deer Forest, the deer come right up to you and you can feed/pet them!!

Loved the Chinese Lantern Festival! We approached each exhibit like it was art, marveling at the workmanship, the colors, and the composition. I read to allow 1 to 1.5 hours. We took 2. I could have stayed longer at the fire pits. It was great!

We loved our visit. We recommend doing the skyfari first thing. Itโ€™s a great aerial view of most of the zoo. The end of may is the absolute perfect time if you want to see the babies because pretty much any animal they have had babies. Thatโ€™s pretty rare in enclosures to have that many. Even goslings were there. Elk and deer too. The road to get there was rough though and you feel like you are on a cow path at times though worth it. We paid 88 for 2 adults so itโ€™s a hefty price. This time of year not many snack stations were open and not all the little stores were either. With all that being said still was worth the trip.

Despite the usual Corona precautions (at this time at least), as having to wear your mask at all times, it was a great family trip/outing! These precautions are 100% necessary and we were happy to do it. Of course wearing a mask outdoors in the summer can prove slightly uncomfortable, but the kids did not even notice they had them on and my 2 year did not have to wear one (2 and under are exempt). They had water cooling stations (just a mist), and I'd say 90% of the grounds are covered in shade. We were comfortable, and most importantly, the animals were amazing! The few staff members we encountered were pleasant and helpful. This was the biggest, most diverse zoo I have ever visited. The wide variety of animals, along with the close proximity, made this an awesome trip. I have never seen a white tiger, white rhino, African leopard, or African hyena before. I loved watching my son and his amazement of these creatures. If we had access to the chimpanzee enclosure, and if the giraffes weren't hiding in the barn, I would have given this review five stars. However, it certainly deserves the four stars I gave it! I would definitely plan another family trip to the Southwick Zoo! It was worth the 70-mile, hour and 20-minute drive.

The Southwick's zoological park is getting better every year, adding new educational experiences, updating, improving, and expanding naturalistic enclosures. Every exhibit is accessible, however there are many steep and long inclines making wheelchair use difficult/strenuous at times. Good and varied food offerings in the park.

Awesome Zoo! Spacious with loads of activities and things to do. The animals seem very well cared for and the staff is super friendly. I would recommend their restaurant instead of the little food islands they have there. The food is on the $$$ side, but VERY tasty. We had the bang bang shrimp and my 4 year old devoured it. We also went around the park in โ€œanimal ride onsโ€ and while those do need an adult with the child, the weight limit is 450 lbs, so, makes it enjoyable for lots of sizes. All in all, amazing experience and we will be coming back.

One of the best zoos in mass, honestly just great for familyโ€™s & lots to see around the pretty decent sized zoo. Camels rides are fun for the kids, hand feeding the animals like the goats as well as the baby goats. The zoo also has food & drinks that you can purchase & as well as a restaurant. The make your own slushy machine was great. Overall fantastic zoo that should be a go to in the summers with family & friends.

What a fun zoo!! Wonderful animals, fabulous petting zoo/feeding areas, rides, plenty of concessions, clean, animal shows, and lots to do and see all in Mendon Massachusetts! I've been going there since I was a kid and I just got back from taking my grand daughter. Every time I go they move things to bigger and better enclosures and add all kinds of new things and animals. Four stars only due to it being pretty pricey at $32 a head or $27 in advance. The advance process includes a fee which cost me $14 for 7 tickets as well as pricey concessions. If you can get over that you will spend the day with all kinds of animals and see your kids and grand kids smiling ear to ear.

I like how shaded the zoo is. Was hot out but with the shade it made it comfortable to walk and enjoy the zoo. PLENTY of monkeys. Wish they had elephants. Love the playground and the carousel for the kiddos. Few different options for food. Prices as you would expect $$. They had a few places to buy souvenirs along the way. Again pricey, as expected. The deer forest was neat to walk through. Didnโ€™t go on the lift above the park. (I got there kinda late) but it looks neat. All in all will definitely go back

Wonderful zoo. There is a huge amount to see. The deer forest was wonderful and it was so fun to be close to the animals. The place is quite hilly though and you need to walk a lot to see everything. The employees usually hang around the enclosures and will answer questions or provide facts about the animals which I thought was great.

Love the drive through. There were many diverse and foreign animals. There were staff too presenting animal artifacts such as shells or horns. The staff and the people there were respectful and let you take your time at each stop while looking and taking photos. Everyone was social distancing and most were wearing masks.

Southwick zoo in Mendon Mass is an amazing place most of the cages with animals that are not aggressive or a threat are open and you can get extremely closer to the animals than you normally could except for dangerous animals of course they have a beautiful gift shop called the purple peacock that sells amazing gifts including nice silver jewelry they have food in a restaurant on site as well and they have opportunities to pets deer in the deer Forest and also to pet goats so it's definitely worth the trip and getting an earthshare's member is the most financially beneficial membership to have for admission fees.

Great zoo for young and old. It was bigger than I expected and the animals all had big enclosures and appeared to be very healthy. The zoo is shady, so on hot days no one is sweltering in the heat. It was our first trip and I am sure we will be going again. It is a great day trip, you can bring snacks and a lunch or eat from the food vendors. There are plenty of picnic tables everywhere.

What a great zoo! This is one of the best zoos I have ever been to and hands down the best Iโ€™ve been to in Massachusetts. Definitely better than Franklin Park Zoo. Itโ€™s big, surrounded by nature and interwoven with it; the animals have spacious enclosures and seem very well taken care of. Everything is clean and well-maintained. There is a lot of knowledgeable staff interspersed throughout and very happy to tell you about the animals. The bird training area was also great - we got to see the staff training some of the birds and they gave us lots of very detailed explanations about all the birds. Overall I really got the sense that they care about the animals and about educating visitors rather than some zoos where you just stroll through, gawk at the animals and leave none the wiser.

This is one of my favorite zoos. It's way better than Roger Williams for multiple reasons. The staff here is incredibly friendly beyond expectations. The costs are low. They have a train ride through a forest of wild Elk. And a walking forest filled with Fallow Deer that roam free and approach you that you can feed. Lions and tigers and chimpanzees here. Can't find those at Roger Williams. There's so many different animals. I particular love that you don't see all the tourists here because it's in the middle of nowhere and has the best restaurant around. Highly recommend.

In a very cute town where I love looking at the houses and scenery before getting to the zoo. This place is definitely the best zoo in New England as they have more variety of animals to see than the others. They even have a few rides. I wouldnโ€™t recommend the train as there was nothing to see and not worth the price. The others were cute and fun. Love the fact that they have many snacks and food options and the fact that you can bring your own drinks and food there as well!

This visit is one for the book. We went there on Labor day. It was crowded but everyone followed rules and had masks on. We found sanitizers' dispensers all throughout the park. We tried the zipline and the skyfari sky ride. Amazing experiences. My son did the pony ride as well, could not stop smiling. We then fed deers and amazingly found a spot to feed the giraffes. Top notch experience. We found help everywhere as employees were not reluctant to help. There are multiple places to eat. Clean bathrooms and portable ones throughout the entire park. Every employee we met was patient, kind and efficient. My son had a blast. We will surely come back.

I fell in LOVE in this zoo. Everything is so clean. The animals look well taken care off, healthy, with clean surroundings. The employees were super hands on disinfecting the areas, providing sanitizer for the customer, making sure guidelines were met. Everyone had their mask on. However, they have very clear intentions of creating a one way traffic throughout the zoo. You can see it on the map online AND the one they provide upon arrival BUT, once you get to there the signs are not very clear and it can be confusing. Overall a great experience, can't wait to visit again!.

We went today and took our 18 month old and 4 month old granddaughters. The younger one was happy just looking at everything and everybody. The 18 month old was thrilled to see the animals. Her favorite part was feeding the deer. They were very gentle. She had no fear and put her hand right into their mouths. She enjoyed the camel ride, too, which was very reasonable at $7 per person. Southwick's has a map they give you so that everyone is going in the same direction, and they have staggered entry times. Everyone over 2 yrs has to wear a mask. They spray your hands before you go in and there is sanitizer stations everywhere. There are a lot of baby animals right now, so it was extra fun, and safe.

Went for the winter wonderland drive the entire place was decorated and had different themes for each part. The lights were beautiful but it was $50 and the tracks you had to download were a pain, they should have had it programmed to a radio station instead of making us switch to the next track every minute so you never got to finish a song, by the time the song started singing it was onto the next

  • 5/5 Steve C. 3 years ago on Google
Best zoo I've ever been to hands down, the deer enclosure (no extra cost besides for corn to feed them) was over the top, the camel ride was great and the trainers and keepers all seemed to really love the animals they were dealing with, and it showed with the animals, they were seemingly very happy and energetic, every enclosure had a fresh plate of food and nothing looked depressed like in zoos I've been to in the past. We'll never go to another zoo in MA this is the bees knees.

  • 4/5 Vellentie fam V. 3 years ago on Google
Great place for families to visit however, when we visited, they shut the rides and food services down early before 4pm, even though it's suppose to close at 5pm. If you pay for a package full day you should be able to use all the services the full amount of time. A lot of young folk work there and they seem pleasant enough. Camel rides shut down and no more elephants at the zoo there. Only two bird shows during the day no more monkey shows as well. Overall, good day out for families; they sanitize the rides and implement social distancing very well. Hand sanitizer is available everywhere too.

I went here for the christmas light drive through with family, and was super excited that we got to see some deer. They provided music to put on while you drove that linked up with what you were driving by, with signs along the way to ensure you were on the right song for what was coming up. Also went to the part where you walk around, had socially distant santa, trees that light up synchronously with the best of music, food, drinks, and beautiful lights. I hope they do the christmas lights again next year, I will definitely go again.

I went for the lights show. For $50, I really expected more. I've been to other shows in Attleboro and Agawam, and they were worth the experience. After driving for over 45 mins, we were quite disappointed.

We enjoyed the evening Winter Wonderland drive-thru experience. The zoo offered seasonal tracks that enhanced the various themes we encountered in our drive. There were live actors in costume in certain exhibits. We did NOT participate in the Santa's Village portion which sounded fun, but would be a higher risk for contacting the virus. This event was a lovely way to support the zoo, make memories and celebrate the season without risk of exposure to COVID (if you just do the drive through portion).

Wow this place is definitely made for kids of all ages (including adults). You can spend all weekend here...now I see why membership might be necessary. You can't do it all in one day or even two...the kids have so much to see and do and plenty of rest areas and space for kids to run around. Conveniently located with Golden Gate park so perfect for a family adventure. My boys (4 yrs and 2yrs) liked the rainforest (until it got too hot for them) and the Earthquake simulator. Bring your lunch if you like, lots of tables and eating areas for the family (food is kind of expensive...$12 for a cheeseburger).

Due to covid a lot of places closed which cut our experience short. But it was great to see folks around navigate through the zoo. It was an extremely hot day, hard to spot any animals I don't blame them. The zoo needs a complete renovation to be more inclusive and introducing more animals to their collections.

The zoo had a lot more than I had initially expected. The variety of animals and activities were also amazing. Can't wait to plan my next trip.

i went with my niece today and my family. everything was great, we had fun until we went on the sky ride. my niece and a family friend went on and a little into the ride i notice the guy didnโ€™t put down their safety bar. do you know how dangerous that is? especially for little kids? over animals as well? it is ridiculous. i told them to hold tight to the side because god knows what couldโ€™ve happen, that is so irresponsible. when we got off i told the guy down there, he said they had lifted it up, how can two kids lift that up by themselves? you have to press down on a lever and then lift it up. donโ€™t blame the kids teach them to be careful.

Love Southwick Zoo! It's easy to navigate, priced well, and has great exhibits! I'm lucky enough to live about 15 minutes away and am an Earth member. I haven't taken much advantage of the membership yet but it's great to be able to go as often as I'd like with the baby and walk around!

Really enjoyed the zoo, was perfect weather and so many animals to see. Took the train ride with my granddaughter, she thought it was very cool seeing the reindeer up close. Take the day and just stroll around, nice outing with the little ones.

We loved it! Didn't have enough time to see all of the animals. Favorite part was the sky ride through the park and seeing the 6-week old giraffe!!! Highly recommend visiting. Great for families and nature lovers alike!!!

Festival of lights was great. Hidden gem a little off the beaten path, but worth it for the little ones and the young at heart.. There are some rides and the animals look well cared for.

The best zoo around my area! So many amazing animals and a goat petting area!! Myself I would go just to sit with the goats๐Ÿ’• they also have an area where you walk and feed deer.so much fun for the whole family.

We were there for the Festival of Illumination. It was such a joyful experience! The artistry was just...wow...like nothing I'd seen before! BEAUTIFUL ๐Ÿ˜ (we'll have to return during the day to visit the actual zoo another time)

  • 4/5 Luci R. 2 years ago on Google
Wonderful day trip. Enjoyed seeing all the animals and especially liked walking through the deer forest and taking the train ride through elk crossing. A little on the expensive side but worth it.

Yes, there are a lot of pics but who wouldn't take these many pics. It's Southwick Zoo at night during their Festival of Illumination. We love our Southwick Zoo trips but this was our first experience with their Festival of Illumination and it was refreshingly breathtaking. Don't expect to see too many animals, most of the zoo is roped off but the animals we did see were so active. These pics do not do justice to the actual size of these illuminated displays, they must be experienced in person. Thank you Southwick Zoo, just when we thought we knew all you had to offer...wow!

This year Southwick outdid themselves with Illuminations. The show was fantastic. It is still on until November 1, 2021. A must see. It is worth every penny. The family had an enjoyable evening.

Great place ordinarily. When they do night-time events it's even better!! Fun night of lighted Chinese lantern dioramas!

It was nice, more animals than most zoos around here. Lots of rides and stands were closed but overall it was good

  • 5/5 Nancy F. 2 years ago on Google
Not too big so we all were very comfortable walking around. Some bigger zoos feel overwhelming. We even got a few National Geographic experiences while we were there. There were several babies we got to see and the evening festivities were beautiful. Lots of people arrived just for that!

  • 5/5 Sarah F. 2 years ago on Google
Wonderful place to visit! We go at least a few times a year, especially on weekdays when it's less crowded. There are so many unique animals I've never seen anywhere else and they all look so healthy and well taken care of. There are so many babies born each year and that's always a joy to see! Highly recommend for anyone who loves animals! ๐Ÿ˜Š

We attended the Festival of Illumination and Winter Wonderland. This experience was absolutely breathtaking! Not only is the zoo our favourite in the area, but the holiday celebrations like this one are top notch!

  • 5/5 Lisa B. 2 years ago on Google
We went to the drive through light display. It was absolutely beautiful. Decorations, music, lights ect... Bit pricey but it's per car not per person so it evens out. Highly recommend it.

  • 5/5 Jaz I. 2 years ago on Google
Southwick Zoo has plenty of animals for the whole family to learn and enjoy as you walk to several trails throughout the zoo. There's plenty of toddler rides and concession stands to provide a variety of yummy treats for the entire family. Lastly, don't forget to drive through for The Illuminations during Christmas time. It doesn't disappoint. And there's even a traveling circus with tent and performing dogs and acrobatics.

  • 5/5 Robbie R. 2 years ago on Google
Southwickโ€™s Christmas lights display was very good. I was truly surprised at the intricate details of their lighting displays and ornamental decorations. They did an awesome job. Kids of all ages would enjoy this drive-through lighted, animated winter safari. Just be sure to pack the car with as many people as possible since the price of entrance is a bit steep at $50 per car.

  • 5/5 Kevin G. 2 years ago on Google
Southwick Zoo is such a fantastic place and with the Illumination festival of lights it's even better! You get a chance to drive through the park that you'd normally walk in and you get a different perspective on the place. The sights and sounds of truly amazing!

We love Southwick Zoo. Always so much fun from the animals to the rides. Great time for families of all ages. Feeding the deer, goats, and parakeets are a family must. The train conductor is always so friendly and welcoming. And the sky ride let's you see the zoo in a different view. Would definitely plan a trip.

I was happily surprised at the cleanliness and excitement at the zoo. A zipline? Yes!! My husband and I decided to go there for our anniversary just for something different. Us middle-aged folks had a great time! The grounds were very clean and the restaurant was very nice and accommodating. A must see for ALL ages!

Best zoo ever! Great place to bring kids, you can see everything in 3 hours. The petting zoo and deer forest are great and the staff is friendly.

We have been to 3 zoos in new england and this one is by far the best among all. We were super tired covering all the animals in the zoo. I think this is the largest compared to all the other three and lots of animals and birds can be found. Feeding deers has to be the best out of all. There are few attractions and rides within the zoo and we have to pay separately for that. But kids are definitely going to love this one.

Great zoo experience with plenty of shade throughout the park. Primate exhibits are very spacious and adequate for a smaller scale zoo, especially the Mandrills having plenty to forage and climb through. Chimpanzee exhibit is luxurious and huge, but could probably use more underbrush like the mandrill enclosure, but the lawn area does make it easier to observe them. Gibbon exhibits are fun and visible, they have plenty of things to showcase their acrobatic climbing skills. The red cheeked gibbons have a geodesic style dome they enjoy, but with the new baby gibbon it might need to be expanded in the future. It is the largest primate collection in New England, and it exceeds many of the zoos around Massachusetts in terms of how natural and well kept the exhibits are for monkeys and apes. The rest of the zoo is high quality and interactive, scenic, and fun. Deer Forest walkthrough is always a good time to spend a few quarters. Most of the animals were out and about earlier in the day, but with the high humidity and sun many will be in the shade by around 2 PM when it's the hottest. Always a good time walking around Southwick's for a couple of hours. Good atmosphere and food at Galliford's, other than the lobster roll.

What an amazing zoo! Loved every part. Lots of different types of animals in large well kept and very clean enclosures. All of the petting and feeding animals were really cool and the kids loved it. So glad we came! Probably my favorite zoo of all time

Fun for all ages! So much to do. My daughter loved the zip line and sky fari. It was neat to see the zoo from the sky. Little man loved the carousel. All the workers were so friendly. They had lots of activities for baby day. Will definitely be back. Unfortunately their bathrooms were out of service but they rushed in port a pottyโ€™s.

Really nice zoo with lots of activities for kids. The paths are stroller friendly and itโ€™s a large space so you donโ€™t really feel over crowded. The cafe has good wraps, but itโ€™s super expensive. The petting zoo and open deer park are a lot of fun.

One of my favorite zoo's within 2 hours of me. There are several large animals, including giraffes, rhino's, tigers, and lions. They have lots of different monkeys. I almost wish there were a few less monkeys and several other animals instead. The gondola ride and the train ride are very nice and breaks up all the walking.

  • 5/5 Chris W. 8 months ago on Google
Sometimes a spur of the moment trip goes above and beyond your expectations. That is what happened when my family and I made the 2.5 hour trek to Mendon and the Southwick's Zoo. Crowds were bearable on a Sunday, the weather was perfect, and the animals, activities and zoo staff were all fantastic. Definitely one of the best zoos in the country and one that my family will return to.

  • 5/5 Janine F. 8 months ago on Google
Absolutely a wonderful time! Beautiful scenery and lots of shade! The animals are well taken care of. Loved the gondola ride. Why did they change the delicious fries at the Zebra Cafe?? Sad.

It is a very nice place. I went on a visit with my family and we really enjoyed it a lot. The staff is nice. The animals look like they are in good care and they are on strict diets, which they ask the public to please not give them food. Only those who such as Deer and Goats, which I recommend that you bring change because it is ยข25. We had an incredible time, the place is big, you have to walk a lot, I recommend that you bring water, although it has food and drink stalls and there are showers to cool off. It has a train that turns you around, a safarie that lifts you up in the air so that You can see the animals from the air, they also have a carousel, Soaring Eagle Zipline which I recommend if you are not afraid of heights and speed and it costs $12 per person. They also have a real maze that we had a lot of fun with our children in the place to the truth that I recommend it 10/10

One of the best zoos Iโ€™ve visited in a very very long time. The zoo is very well kept and clean. Plenty of room for the animals and the habitat also looks comfortable. There are a couple of petting areas where you can pet goats and deers. Many activities available like the zip line, skyfari, train ride. We were also lucky to witness a lion king moment :)

Best Zoo I have visited in New England!! We arrived later in the afternoon and ran out of time but it was a wonderful preview of what we can look forward to on our next visit. It is clean, an enormous variety of animals and lots of places to get snacks or meals. Also a really nice restaurant on site independent of the smaller, quicker places to eat. You can tell the animals are taken care of and looked after. Lastly, a SKY-RIDE which goes over the entire zoo, a TRAIN RIDE you can take which is really relaxing with great scenery, and then a PETTING ZOO (goats ๐Ÿ were adorable and a bit on the smaller size which makes them perfect for younger children - I will say they can be just a little bit aggressive especially when you are getting ready to feed them the pellets, so try to prepare the younger/more gentle children). **The one disappointing factor... Zoo closed at 4pm and we arrived just before 3pm. We assumed there would be a discounted admission fee since there was an hour left. But we were charged full price. $85.00 for 2 adults/1 child!! We won't assume again but that is the one suggestion I would make. Most parks offer that type of fee reduction.
