From the reception, to the tour guide is very impressive, you can't ask for more than what they offer... Especially the Tour guide, he turned me dumb with his profound knowledge of the history of the Castle.. He deserves Accolades and I'll bless him with something on my next trip

The cape coast castle throws more light on the slave trade that happened over 400 years, specifically on how slaves were treated before being transported to the west l, they are more of sad and deep memories. It’s very important to visit the Cape coast castle ad there is a great deal of history to be learned over there. The place will however need some more maintenance.

We did a four-day private tour with “Here Is Ghana Tours”. They were very friendly, punctual, and accommodating. They had great restaurant spots to eat from. 😋My favorite place was the Royal Senchi Resort/Hotel. I highly recommend booking their services. Thanks for such an amazing time; Mohammed, Mannan, and Steven! We look forward to our next adventure!

Cape Coast Castle is one of the three castles located in Ghana. As one of the major tourist site in Ghana 🇬🇭, many people both old and young, citizens and foreigners, etc. go there to know the history of the place. This place some sad memories of our Ghanaian citizens being the slave trade.

Cape Coast Castle (Swedish: Carolusborg) is one of about forty "slave castles", or large commercial forts, built on the Gold Coast of West Africa (now Ghana) by European traders. It was originally a Portuguese "feitoria" or trading post, established in 1555. However, in 1653 the Swedish Africa Company constructed a timber fort there. It originally was a centre for the trade in timber and gold. It was later used in the trans-Atlantic slave trade.[1] Other Ghanaian slave castles include Elmina Castle and Fort Christiansborg. They were used to hold slaves before they were loaded onto ships and sold in the Americas, especially the Caribbean. This "gate of no return" was the last stop before crossing the Atlantic Ocean.[2]

Touring Ghana with Worldwide Moe was amazing! He went above and beyond to ensure we learned and enjoyed our trip. I recommend booking with Moe if you really want to explore Ghana and have a great time doing so. This was my first time traveling to Ghana and because of our guide and our driver, Steven, I would go back over and over again. Much love to the team ❤️

Ghana Tours is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure that you have a great experience while in Ghana. They were very flexible with our schedules to make sure we got to do and see everything (well not everything...not possible to see everything in one trip). We traveled with a 11 people which can be challenging but they made sure that everyone was happy. We traveled with two young children. One of my children is a picky eater. The owner Med always kept that in mind when scheduling places to eat. I am very thankful for that. I will definitely be back to Ghana and Ghana Tours is the only company I would use to see and experience the things that I did not have time to see on this trip.

At the very beginning, Med welcomed us as family. Here is Ghana Tours curated a luxurious experience for our group of 11 which included a 1 and 4 year old, and 79 year old. Med gave us history, culture, fun, adventure, and good food (Did I already say, "good food?"). We spent 11 days in Ghana ans cannot wait for our return. Thank you for welcoming us and going above and beyond for everyone in the group. P.s. my 4 year old still asks for Med.

Our recent trip to Ghana was a life changing experience, due in part to the magnificence of our amazing tour guide, Mohammed. Mohammed's passion for his great country, Ghana, took our experience to a new level of tourism. He brought a vitality to the experience that made our visit more than a tourism tour - It was a total immersion in the dynamic culture of the nation that is Ghana, with all it's rich and powerful history. Mohammed appeared genuinely concerned that we were all comfortable at every stage of our visit, and enjoyed learning about our respective cultures. Mohammed's love of and pride in his country and its people is infectious, and his joy in sharing it with travelers is breathtakingly evident! Thank you, Mohammed. Medaase!

The tour was really amazing. The narration given by the tour guide was also astounding. The passion with which he narrated the story of our ancestors who suffered in those dungeons. I felt everything he said as if it was happening to me. 😔😔😪 If you ain't been, then hurry there.

My family and I (8 people total) visited Ghana in Feb 2023. Here is Ghana Tours was intentional in their planning for our group. Med was in constant communication about our experience and introduced us to people and spaces that weren't on the itinerary. Our experience was life changing! We highly recommend Here is Ghana Tours. You won't be disappointed.

We booked a multiple day tour and communication beforehand was rather poorly. There was a problem with the payment on their banks end, and they didn’t accept any help from me or my bank to solve the problem but insisted in asking where the money was repeatedly (even though I had proof that they should have the money). On the tour itself, we did not leave any day at the time planned, which was a a pity since we were told to be awake at 6 am, but then stood there and had to wait for the tour guide to wake up. Also standing in the dark at Accra mall waiting for the pick up because the driver is late to even begin the trip, is not a great feeling as a tourist, when you don’t know your way around and if it’s safe. The activities on the tour were wonderful and well picked, we enjoyed every one of them. However, we booked this tour because we were looking forward to just jump in a bus with other people and enjoy different activities and not worry about anything. We ended up with the Tourguide letting us buy our own water the second day (which was included in the package price) and discussing at length that since a lot of other people cancelled (we were just a small group of three instead of what should have been 10 or more (?) people) they weren’t making any money off of the tour and he himself would have to sacrifice his salary for the weekend and he was told by his manager to skip certain activities to save money. You might imagine how one feels as a paying customer. He didn’t skip the activity in the end but overall the feeling that due to their mismanagement and not the fault of the paying customers that were there, there was a problem, was a bad one - as it came up again and again. The tour guide also repeatedly made not nice comments about the other customers weight, which I thought was inappropriate - in general but also for a paying customer. So to sum it up, I loved the things we saw during the trip but would not recommend it, as the Organisation was poorly and mismanagement problems were discussed with the customers, so they ended up feeling bad and this took away from the easy enjoyment that I hoped I would get.

Med (Mohammed) singled-handedly made our trip to Ghana feel less like a simple vacation and more like rediscovering family. He leads small, carefully planned tours all over this wonderful country. We will surely be back, and we will surely use his services again. Thanks so much Med!

My Volta Experience with Here is Ghana Tours was mind blowing. It was beyond my wildest imagination. The journey, motor rides, tour sites visited, by the fire side and tent camping by the waterfalls, everything everything. I woke up and opened my tent and my view was beautiful 😍. This is my first trip with Med and I know I will recommend and come back again for more tours. I enjoyed and loved the whole experience Every bit of it Wowwww Thank you so much for this experience

👍👍 It is a beautiful and cute place. My date and I were the only ones there when we arrived so I can’t tell whether it gets busy or not. The waitress was polite and attentive. I really enjoyed their service and the food most especially the spicy chicken wings.
