I
really
wanted
to
love
this
resort.
Tucked
away
at
the
base
of
Camelback
Mountain,
it
is
the
perfect
blend
of
luxury
and
old-world
charm.
From
the
landscaping
to
the
numerous
common
areas,
it
is
absolutely
beautiful,
and
although
we
had
a
bit
of
an
air
conditioning
issue,
the
rooms
are
very
spacious.
The
staff
has
clearly
had
training
since
many
of
these
reviews
were
written
because
everyone
-
from
the
front
desk
to
the
pool
attendants
-
was
friendly,
helpful,
and
accommodating.
The
set
up
was
perfect
for
our
15-year
anniversary
getaway.
However,
this
hotel
is
also
a
wedding
venue,
and
during
our
two-night
stay,
three
weddings
took
place.
The
inconveniences
began
as
we
attempted
to
enter
the
resort
and
valet
our
car
amidst
numerous
wedding
guests.
The
front
door
was
blocked
for
a
photo
op
of
the
bride
and
groom,
and
because
the
event
spaces
were
located
outside,
we
felt
like
we
were
walking
through
a
wedding
reception
anytime
we
walked
around
the
resort.
Initially,
our
room
was
literally
five
feet
away
from
the
reception
space,
so
we
asked
to
be
moved.
The
management
was
very
happy
to
oblige,
but
even
in
the
new
room,
we
heard
music
until
late
into
the
night,
and
the
entire
next
day,
both
event
staff
and
the
wedding
party
continually
walked
along
the
path
outside
our
"private"
patio.
For
what
we
paid
to
have
a
quiet,
romantic
weekend,
we
left
feeling
disappointed.
Long
story
short
-
if
you
want
to
get
married,
this
venue
seemed
perfect,
but
if
you
are
looking
to
stay
as
a
guest,
choose
a
weeknight
or
a
different
resort.
