My experience was great until I hit the recovery room. Unlike the review that mentioned the older woman recovery room nurse who was like x-military, mine was young, uncaring and cold. She sent me to the bathroom when I was still groggy and I worried that I might fall. She didn't care. She left me alone to change back into my clothes once again in a very groggy state and when I asked for my daughters help she would not allow her into my room until I was dressed. Can you believe that! Then when I mentioned that I was still very nauseous she offered to give me more meds and then said it probably wouldn't help if it didn't help the first time. My daughter who was present in the room at that time and in the medical field recommended a different option. She said I would have to stay another hour as she shot a second dose of the first med that hadn't worked. God forbid that I would have to stay one hour longer! It was bad enough that my procedure was considered out-patient but to be treated this way and then be shoved out of the hospital like that was was just awful. My surgery was at 9 a.m. and I was out of the hospital at 2 p.m. On top of that I am a senior not a 25 year old! I was hoping the hospital would send me a questionnaire so I could address this. Now that I am well I will pursue this. That nurse needs to fine a new profession.

There is not enough words of the care I received today. Fernando RN was awesome, cracking jokes with me made me feel at ease and not nervous for my first surgery. My OR nurse was very educational and my post op nurse was an angel and calmed me down while I was coming off the anesthesia. Great services here thank you for making this a smooth ride! ❤❤❤❤

My daughter had minor surgery on her tear duct Friday morning. I have never been so please with a medical center. They made sure to greet my 14 month old with smiles and joy. When it came time to take her back, they let us walk back (as far as we could go) with her, and when I handed her off to the nurse she was completely comfortable and content going with her. As soon as she was out of surgery the anesthesiologist came to inform us how it went (it went great!) and shortly after her doctor came and talk to us again (and gave us his personal cell number in case we had any concerns over the weekend). As soon as she started to wake up they brought us back so we could be with her. Of course she was a little confused and groggy, but shortly after she was waving and making faces to the nurses. Once we were headed home I was reviewing all the paperwork and found a Thank You card. They were all so very kind!

Very dissatisfied with the services here. Went with my kid sister to get her a colonscopy and endoscopy. Everyone was cold and rushed, some of the prep nurses were kind with her and i appreciate them. Post procedure while in recovery was just all bad. The anesthesiolost made me feel uneasy because he wasnt even speaking coherent sentences and was not paying attention to us. When my sis woke up she had a bad reaction and she couldn't even speak yet, but they were rushing her out already not 5 mins in saying another patient would be coming out. I dont care about who else is coming out if you cant even give us 20 mins to help her wake up then you either need to slow down or get new/more staff. The actual doctor seemed like the only competent person here. And after everything, they didn't even clean her up. They left her to go home soiled. If you need a colonoscopy, go to sun city where they actually care.

I went by ambulance to Banner on 9/11/18 straight from work, thinking I might have heart issues but hours later found out I had a Spontaneous Pneumothorax (collapsed lung). I ended up being admitted. I wish I could remember the Doctor's name that came to see me several times a week, I really liked him and he explained my condition in layman's terms. He's a GREAT doc! Anyway..... After 8 days with a drainage tube connected to my pleural wall, my surgeon, Dr. Rodriguez -Colon comes in to inform me that it's not working and I need surgery. He was very calm and gentle. Still, It was really scary and totally unexpected. The day of surgery, the anaesthesiologist introduced himself, was cool and gave me Michael Jackson juice so of course I was fine (I remember NOTHING) .. AFTER surgery I was a mess! You can imagine the pain of a freshly operated lung. However, the surgeons, anaesthesiologist, nurses and nurse's assistants were amazing! My first time in a hospital besides giving birth 25 yrs ago and I was here for 14 days. I still can't believe it! All the docs are lifesavers, geniuses and deserve the utmost respect. They do God's work, literally.

My surgery through the VA was performed here. The nursing staff was outstanding. From check-in to post-op everything was A+. When there was a delay in the start of my procedure the nurse manager and the anesthesiologist made sure to explain what was going on to ease my anxiety. Everyone was very kind and professional

My wife had surgery scheduled today, she Sneezed two time in the waiting room your normal clear the Sinuses in the morning. They refused to do the surgery because they think she sick. We have been home for a hour now and she hasn't Sneezed one time. This was a waist of are time, now we don't know when she will get her surgery. And you think the American medical system is the best in the world I think not. Well we got her the surgery at your 93 Ave location! Two days after they refused her at the 10st location. They couldn't understand why your 10 st location wouldn't do the surgery for Sneezing two times. Maybe your employees need to think of the stress and pain someone is under when going for surgery. This is a complete disregard to a person care, well being, stress, emotions. The doctor wouldn't have scheduled the surgery if he didn't think it was necessary! Not only did you waist are time you waisted the Doctor time and the Doctor need to find a location he could help my wife at two days later. Well after kicking us out for my wife sneezing two time and not performing the surgery. They are trying to bill us for the surgery they didn't perform at this location. What has become of the medical system in the USA? They can't don't do the work and still want to get paid as the customer suffers in pain till they can find a new place to get the medical treatment. Not the best place to receive medical treatment!

Google automatically put my maiden name. My last name is Cuchiara. I went in early this morning for a procedure. My experience from the moment I walked through the doors was absolutely amazing! I’m sorry I do not remember any names, I wish I could. But the beautiful lady that checked me in was professional, personable, and so very kind! I wasn’t a good patient because I wasn’t able to go online and do all my pre-check paper work (shame on me) but she didn’t even bat an eye at it and got all my paper work for me and walked me through it all with a beautiful smile. She was so kind which amazes me because I know how cranky I can be at 5:30 in the morning. My intake nurse was so awesome!! She got all of my pre op prep done so quickly and efficiently. She set my IV with no issues and all I felt was the burn from the lidocaine for a split second! Both her and my charge nurse were so fun and made all the hustle and bustle of paper work and pre op like a walk in the park. We had great conversations about dogs, cats, gymnastics, archery, and TACOS!! They were so warm and welcoming. I never get nervous about surgeries because I have had so many, but their wonderful smiles and gentle demeanor could put anyone’s fears at ease. They even helped comfort my husband who was way more nervous and worried than I was. Both of these amazing nurses go onto my list of wonderful nurses that I will never forget. My anesthesiologists and his nurse assistant, can’t remember her actual title, but she had a beautiful accent. They both were so kind and inviting as well. Like I mentioned before I have had many surgeries and anesthesia through my lifetime and have some rough experiences waking up and I have also had some great ones. This time though was absolutely the most relaxing and easy wake up I have ever had! I felt like I was just waking up from a wonderful nap naturally! Hours after, I still feel a little groggy, but that is expected from going through a procedure. Other than that, I feel so amazing! Way more than I expected to be. Needless to say, it was an amazing experience all the way around! Every person in this building are true angels! Thank you all for such a wonderful and comforting experience. You all are the Disneyland of the patient care world. Bless you all. Now there was an issue trying to find the center but it was of now fault of theirs at all. Google maps has it all messed up and wants to send you to the building directly across the street from the center that’s in front of the big hospital. Even with the direct address typed in. My hubs and I were driving in circles trying to find it till we accidentally stumbled upon it.

The staff and Doctors there are great. Had a recent eye surgery done by my Docter Dr Ursea. All personnel i came in contact with made me very relaxed. Can't say enough about the nurses, they were on top of every thing and kept me informed from beginning to end. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the woman at the check in desk. Was told to be there at 10:30 for a 12:00 surgery. I walked in, she asked my name, I told her, and she said to have a seat and she'd call me. I noticed her doing little busy work at the desk as time kept passing, opening mail, etc. Finally after being ignored for 30 minutes, we went up and said 'Is this the check-in desk'? She said 'Yes, what's your name.' I told her she'd asked that when I came in and I repeated my name. She said ' Oh I forgot about you.' Now how is this even possible? It wasn't busy, there were only two other people in there, and they had already been helped. This IS her only job, to check people in for surgery. I think she might be too old for her job if she can't remember to check in the only person there waiting to check in! Everybody else there was great.
