Im so disappointed about customer service and how Apple Store handle customer with issues with their phones. They refuse to fix my phone do that is out warranty knowing it’s manufactured defected. At the store Northridge Diego did knowl·edge is manufactured defected but refuse to fixed due to not have warranty then I ask for for a manager they call Chris E. In which he did say that understood is due to manufacture defect refuse to fix it if I don’t pay the $279 dollars to replace the screen. What a rip off is. I continue to have bad experiences at this location worst ever to visit I won’t be step a foot to this store ever again. I rather drive to another location to get better customer service. This apple ecosystem so call is big rip off . Rotten apple !

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this Apple Store. My MacBook developed a clear issue well within the warranty period, but they refused to fix it, citing reasons that sounded more like excuses. It's astonishing that a company known for its quality and customer service would let its customers down like this. I trusted Apple to stand by their products, and this experience has shattered that trust. I won't be recommending this store to anyone nor apple for that matter.. they want to make money off of every little thing.. the guy had the nerve to tell me, “its like buying a car without a car insurance and when your front fender/bumper is damaged you are responsible!” I was there last week and employee saw the issue and gave me an appointment to come back I specifically asked if it is covered and was assured it would be.. well guess what… The employee or I were wrong.. don’t know which one of us 🙂

This three stars it’s three stars to Apple in general. I am not talking specific on this store in here. The way that Apple work are very expensive. We understand that they do have high-quality stuff but I went to T mobile and I got the same thing with 50% off basically just go to T mobile and he will get better deals. Apple Store workers are really nice and respectful. It’s very organized but it’s always pack of people.

The absolute rudest “manager” I have ever dealt with at an Apple Store. We scheduled an appointment to exchange an iPad. The appointment was 2 hrs out. We showed up to the appointment on time to be told we have to wait some more. I asked what the point of the appointment was and his answer was “ I don’t know who you talked to before, but I’m resetting your expectations“ it’s not what was said but how it was said. His demeanor and attitude was not one of good leadership. If you don’t like your job find a new one, George. I gave it a two star because the woman he is talking to in the picture helped us and she was really sweet. In fact she should be the manager of that store. She sensed that we were frustrated and made efforts to chat with us. She made the experience better and more of what I normally experience in an Apple Store.

Do not even think about going to this Apple store. I am so disappointed about Apple’s customer service and how they handle issues with their iPad accessories. Tech’s don’t even try to give you an option on how to repair a product that they sell - specifically the Magic Keyboard for iPads. They refused to repair/replace the Apple Magic Keyboard due to manufacturer’s defect and warranty issues. All they wanted me to do is to pay $254+ tax for them to replace the keyboard when in fact, buying a new one would only cost you a few dollars more. Does that not sound ridiculous? Total rip off if you ask me. If i could give a 0 star, I would. This apple store have very unprofessional staff who only cares about looking cute.

Customer service doesn’t equal the high cost for Apple products. Poor customer service. Unable to answer questions. Want the sell before you get the answers. Need an appointment to buy and a separate appointment to get questions answered. So many employees, but no one has answers. I might try another store and hope for good customer service or buy online.

This Apple store is good overall, but provides limited help when it comes to repairing the devices. The staff can be more cooperative and the store policy by being more flexible assisting the customers with their phone issues and damages by replacing the device accessories, for a decent fee, rather than giving you a fake diagnostic of your device that’s very costly to fix, in order for them to persuade to buy them a new phone unnecessarily (I went somewhere else and with new small part that needed to be replaced and they took care of it just for $25).

Deeply disappointing manager, miscommunication over the phone led to an hour of my time wasted. Any other Apple Store will do better than this. Don’t be misled by their “Exchange” program with hidden up charges.

John Mendez (laptop tech) is an absolute all-star, he is personable and attentive to all guests. I had an issue with 2 mac laptops that could not connect to wi-fi. After a thorough assessment we were able to identify probable causes of the problem. Within 30 minutes the issue was fully resolved. His explanations and solving approach were easy to understand. So the time and visit were worth the victory in the end!

Customer service representative named Christina helped me complete my purchase over the phone because my card had an issue. She was really nice and efficient. She helped me buy Airpods as a gift for my sister and I'm so grateful!

Horrible place. It took them 4 and half hours to get my new phone. Check in for my appointment and was told to wait. Employee was just walking around and every time I ask for help they would told me they’re busy helping someone else. Customer that came after me would leave before me.

I purchased two ultra apple watches, not knowing that the new one is coming out, wanted to exchange them in the store manager denied. The exchange right away was not accommodating, was rude and unhelpful. I will never purchased anything from there. Worst Apple Store of all time.

I don’t recommend this Apple Store, every person who works in there gives different information, and not full information. For example I broke my camera on the phone and had to exchange my iPhone on a new one with extra $99, because I have an insurance. So, they said that I can’t synchronise with a new phone all my information and have to use iCloud, when I said that it’s expensive and I don’t want to buy extra memory, the lady said ok, we can help you, We can save all the information on a new iCloud so go home save all the information, and I leave your new phone for you, next time you can come with no appointment. She didn’t say anything else. At home it was written that all information couldn’t be saved because there is not enough memory in iCloud. Yesterday I arrived to this Apple Store, as a result I had to buy extra iCloud space, because First Lady didn’t said that it’s only 50Gb, but I showed her everything from my phone. And with synchronising phones it’s for free! In many places they do it for free and tries to help, but not in here. I said I can arrive in the morning and leave my phone and do it in this way, but they just want to earn money forcing people to buy something else. And of course I had to go home again, to save my information which wasn’t saved first time. Finally, today when I arrived to the store to exchange the phone, they said I need an appointment, but first time lady said you don’t need it, just come and I’ll change it for you. But lady today said that the reservation could be only for five days. Honestly it’s so strange for me, I pay insurance, but the employees are not interested to give a good and full service and for example to help their clients to safe some money.

Got an AirPod replaced earlier and a Genius Bar employee (Brian) was very helpful. He told me to take them home and keep them in the case for an hour to let them finish pairing. I got back home and waited, but my AirPods wouldn’t connect so I went back to the store hours later. They told me I had to be put on a waitlist and come back for the next appointment (2hrs), but I told them it’s was too long to wait after having being there for an hour earlier. The guy said he couldn’t jump me ahead, but was going to ask his lead. The lead (I forgot her name),very friendly and helpful said she would get someone to help me. She finally got someone from the Genius Bar (Mando, I think). Not giving 5 stars because the guy from the Genius Bar didn’t seem too happy to help me 🙃. Looked like he was bothered that I request help sooner than a two hour appt. I mean the whole issue was resolved in 15-20 min tops. Anyways… thanks Brian. You we’re extremely helpful earlier today.

The staff were very respectful and the service was fast. They helped me restart my phone, and also evaluate the problem it had been having. We got it fixed up and now it's like brand new. I love it there and I will definitely go back

Had to wait almost 30 minutes for help after I was told by someone that they would be right back to help. They went into the back and never came back out to the sales floor.

I went in to check out some new items and to figure out what to buy for my home office. I was a bit hung up on wether to get a desktop or a laptop. The staff was happy to help me choose an item (Mac Air). They also answered many questions I had because it's been a long time since I have used an Apple. I also was looking at the IPhone and watch which are very nice. I do believe I will be switching to Apple because most of my work is Graphics. I am just happy they were able to help me transition back to Apple.

The best part about this store is that you can make an appointment right at the door. I was here twice and both times I had to wait 10 minutes only. But if you don’t want to wait then I suggest to set an appointment time on line or you won’t be helped.

OMG, this nice rep( Randy) was such a great person to explain about my ipad & how to back up ( icloud ) the patience he had to just explain to me, literally😳 I'm not computer savvy - didn't have my son w/ me.. but, he was a awesome young man.. thank-you Apple Store.

Don’t come here if you have social anxiety. SUPER crowded, super smelly. There is never any space. I recommend the Topanga Apple store if you need some breathing room.

The best place to waste your time and nerves. I spent 2 hours and fuel to pick up an order that was not ready because of their fault. Disaster customer service. Going to switch to Samsung

I want to compliment and recognize your representative Darnell ! When it comes to technology I’m a member of the Geezer Generation. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He helped me and explained my options with my IPad issues. He was patient, he didn’t speak at 200mph using phrases that Geezers don’t understand. He saved me money and is a lovely person. He solved my problem. Thank you Darnell cuz I remembered your name because of the actress of the 1940s. Give this man a raise !!!! Sincerely, Linda

Conor (sp?) was so helpful putting on my screen protector. My previous one had started to shatter, & he helped me apply my new one with no fuss. Super sweet.

This Apple store has the worst customer service ever. I went on a Wednesday and an hour prior to them closing: I was expecting to not buy and receive help. I arrived and it was slightly packed, but I asked to buy an iPhone 12. The man with glasses refused due to issues and insisted I ordered online for pickup the next day. I didn’t want that, so I just thanked him and continued looking around. Later, I hear a family next to me being helped and the employee said they can help them set up everything. I was confused because the employee I talked to earlier refused to help me. I asked another employee helping the family and he tells me that I can receive help. I eventually find out the employee that helped us in the beginning was the manager: they didn’t want to bring/sale the iPhone. As we told the other employee of our predicament, they asked who gave us the information and we said this person (pointed at him). The other employee realized it was his manager, so he kindly said that he doesn’t know to an extent of what his manager said to respect his boundaries. I came the next day and a lady put me in line, so by 6:30 pm I would receive help. After an extra 10-15 mins, the lady assigned to me an employee due to still not being helped. Once it was our turn, the employee assigned to us came but a lady from out of nowhere ask our assigned employee for help. Mind you we’ve been waiting another 10-15 minutes extra; the lady was white which THAT employee seem to deem greater than following his assigned list. Also, I caught the assigned employee talking to another employee and waiting to finish attending that customer (I know because I was watching and waiting for him to finish). Not only that some employees that were just looking around, talking/laughing to each other, and kinda judging who to help next. After some time, I went to the lady and told her that the employee she assigned me to left me unattended to help another lady that wasn’t even assigned to the employee. She kindly apologized about his behavior and said the employee probably “forgot”. I eventually got helped and my purchase took like 15 minutes due to knowing what to buy already. I could’ve been out the door early, if it weren’t for the employee helping the unassigned white lady. Honestly, whats the whole point of having a waiting list if the customer that arrives after you, leaves before you or the employee that’s assigned to you doesn’t even help you. I hope they improve their waiting list and the employee’s customer service. Ps: I’m starting college and probably got ignored due to being minority and looking like I couldn’t purchase an item. Since most teens or upcoming college students look around and never buy: this influenced their judgment on me. Lastly, the store wasn’t even busy because we asked who processed my payment if it was and they said no.

I purchased a new MacBook Pro 16-inch via apple.com and exchanged it here at the Northridge store after learning of a small defect with the screen. Great laptop btw! The good part is that the laptop was exchanged quickly. The bad part is that it subsequently voided the trade-in credit on my old MacBook Pro 15. A computer that was already approved and received by Apple. My advice would be to send it in for service and avoid the headache of an entirely new transaction. It's not clear why they can't do a direct exchange for products that were purchased online. After 3 phone calls with Apple support and getting nowhere I finally returned to the store and spoke directly with a manager. Mathew was very helpful and spent over an hour on the phone trying to get it sorted out. He finally tracked down the trade-in and learned it was supposed to be refunded on a gift card. He gave me a free laptop case for the trouble. So nice! Well, 2 days later and the gift card never arrived. I finally gave up and contacted BBB. This definitely accelerated the process and my gift card was finally delivered and applied to my apple card balance. Only it did change some of the parameters of the installment plan etc. The important part is that I did get the refund. The rep had mentioned some sort of IT glitch, but I do suspect that Apple was trying to get out of paying the refund. Not a great customer experience at all, but I do like this store and believe they did their best to help.

My girlfriend had the receipt for her Apple Care + on her phone, but they didn’t seem to care. After about an hour she was able to get the service she paid extra for. Personally, I would have given 2 stars, but she is just happy her MacBook is getting taken care of.

The Apple store is by far one of my favorite places to be in. A clean, and friendly place to browse and shop. I’ve been to the The Genius Bar several times and the technicians are extremely helpful. Will be back soon!

Closest Apple Store to home. Always busy. Had to get in to the Genius Bar. 20 minute wait after signing in. Not bad. Waited at the Starbucks for the alert to head back. Nice and efficient. Clan store, good help, no complaints.
