If
you're
considering
taking
up
residence
here,
I
want
to
share
some
of
my
experiences
from
having
lived
there
for
more
years
than
I
care
to
admit.
In
my
opinion,
most
of
the
five-star
reviews
here
are
left
by
people
right
after
they
move
in.
In
fact,
the
initial
appearance
of
this
apartment
complex
is
quite
fetching.
However,
there
are
a
few
larger
issues
that
you
should
be
aware
of:
Parking:
As
other
reviewers
have
shared,
parking
here
is
definitely
an
issue.
There
are
nowhere
near
enough
spots
for
all
of
the
residents
here.
While
there
is
an
option
to
rent
a
disconnected
garage,
if
you're
not
living
one
of
the
few
units
with
a
connected
garage,
most
of
these
garages
are
used
by
residents
for
storage.
The
irony
being
that
the
addendum
you
sign,
upon
renting
said
garage,
prohibits
you
from
doing
so.
This,
like
any
other
"policy"
regarding
parking
is
simply
not
enforced.
I
have
seen
several
residents
with
garages
take
up
parking
spaces.
This
leads
to
a
domino
effect
of
residents
parking
along
the
curbs
of
the
complex.
This
happens
every
night,
all
over
the
complex
despite
the
signs
that
you
will
see
upon
entering,
which
specifically
prohibit
this.
Yet
another
policy
that
is
not
enforced.
On
more
than
one
occasion,
someone
parked
in
front
of
my
entry
way,
blocking
me
in.
I
called
the
office,
and
they
made
their
"best
effort"
to
find
the
person.
Once
they
determined
that
they
could
not
find
them,
they
informed
me
that
they
could
not
tow
the
vehicle
for
another
24
hours.
FYI,
it
states,
specifically
in
the
lease,
that
parking
like
this
is
prohibited
and
will
result
in
towing
at
the
owner's
expense.
Flooding
/
Plumbing
Issues
You
will
find
other
reviews
that
specifically
mention
this
as
well.
I
also
experienced
this...twice.
The
principal
issue
is
the
cheap
parts
/
materials
that
are
used
in
the
bathrooms.
The
connectors
from
the
toilet
to
the
water
source
are
plastic
and
frequently
degrade.
This
leads
to
flooding
of
not
only
your
adjacent
room,
and
worse
if
you
do
not
catch
it,
but
the
unfortunate
resident
that
may
live
below
you
as
well.
Ancient
Air
Conditioning
Equipment:
I
do
not
know
how
else
to
state
this,
but
I
would
not
recommend
renting
a
third-floor
apartment
under
ANY
circumstances.
I
lived
in
one
of
the
third
floor,
two-bedroom
apartments,
for
many
years,
and
even
transferred
to
another
one.
However,
in
either
apartment,
the
bedroom
farthest
away
from
the
handler
will
be
an
oven
in
the
hot
months
of
Florida
summers.
They
will
not
replace
the
AC
units,
or
the
air
handlers,
until
metal
is
literally
clanging
around
inside
them.
I
battled
temperatures
of
85+
degrees
in
that
second
bedroom.
Even
after
leaving
the
AC
running,
set
to
68
or
67
degrees,
for
hours,
that
room
would
not
cool
down
lower
than
77
degrees.
I
have
heard
that
there
is
a
fundamental
design
flaw
in
the
ducts
for
these
units
and
it
simply
"cannot
be
fixed".
Terraces:
You
may
have
seen
this
in
other
reviews
as
well.
The
terraces
have
no
drainage
whatsoever,
unless
it
has
been
fixed
by
a
previous
resident
with
a
power
drill.
Any
time
in
rains,
which
is
most
of
the
time
in
Florida,
you
will
need
to
try
to
get
that
water
off
of
your
terrace.
It
will
also
lead
to
dirt
/
mold
build-up
if
you
aren't
paying
attention
to
it.
Renewal
perks
are
never
delivered:
Whenever
you
renew,
they
will
offer
perks
such
as
"painted
accent
walls,
maid
service,
or
carpet
cleanings".
Unless
you
aggressively
pursue
this,
they
are
never
delivered.
This
was
true
before
Covid
and
has
not
changed
at
all.
Allergies:
This
final
part
of
my
review
is
largely
subjective.
However,
I
suffer
from
brutal
allergies.
I
woke
up
each
morning
with
a
sinus
nightmare
that
took
hours
to
resolve,
humidifiers,
oils,
nasal
"washes",
etc.
At
the
time
of
this
writing,
I
have
been
out
of
that
apartment
for
a
little
less
than
two
weeks.
I
have
not
had
a
single
bout
of
sinus
issues
in
that
time.
