My wife and I were walking on the pier and without a thought she said were going to eat here...mind you, we already had dinner plans in about 2 hours. As we were waiting to be seated a gentleman and his wife struck up conversation...GO CHIEFS and he said you HAVE TO GET the Drunken Shrimp. Well thank you sir cause it was more than awesome. We also enjoyed peel and eat shrimp and pan seared tuna. OMG!! what a super suprise this place was for our taste buds, cause they were in food heaven. If you are reading this...GO TO THE BAIT HOUSE!!! you will not be disappointed.

Love it! The Bourbon Shrimp is incredible! Can be shared as a appetizer or ordered as a main course. Located in a small fun place on the bay. Seating is limited so it took some effort to get a table but well worth it! My son loved watching the pelicans perched along the bay

Fantastic food and service. Although they were unable to accommodate my shellfish allergy, they were AMAZING about it and had full transparency. My mom had their drunken shrimp and said it was the best she’s ever had. The view and seating is also unbeatable. I highly recommend stopping by!

A sea shack in a marina that's funky and charming with a very friendly staff and delicious food. We had Fish Cakes and Drunken Shrimp. Yum!

A stranger in a bar in Largo recommended this place to us as we were looking for a place with fresh seafood. Husband got the fish tacos with the catch of the day, which was mahi-mahi. He loved them! I got the blackened grilled chicken sandwich on ciabatta with steamed broccoli, which was also quite nice. This is a tiny place with probably 10 tables all outdoor seating on a deck that’s right over the water. Service was good. Ambience was relaxing. No bathrooms on site, only have to walk outside and do a U-turn to the public restrooms for the marina. Tons of beers on tap and drinks, could see this being a fun little spot.

Cool place! Bait house and Restaurant all in one. When we went the special was Wahoo and it was delicious. We tried the Wahoo Rueben and Blackened Wahoo Sandwich. So good. It's whatever they get fresh is the special. Will definitely go back. View was great.

Came here for a mid day snack and it was quite the treat. I ordered the catch of the day which was the Wahoo, and it was pretty tasty. I like how light and flaky the fish was. You’ll definitely enjoy the atmosphere of the setting of the restaurant being a deck in the water. My girl got the peel & eat shrimp and the wahoo tacos and she loved it. I will definitely be back one day!

Sweet view, great bites! First time visiting the bait shack per recommendations from travel FL Facebook page. Bourbon shrimp and tuna nachos were excellent! Great water views, intimate location and cold drinks. Beach on!

We had a late lunch. Probably 230 or 300 and we loved it. The fish was great quality and deliciously prepared. I'd highly recommend this restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly and my glass was never empty! The fish dip is the picture below. It comes with jalapeños jelly that works well with the dip. I love that they always use their daily catch and incorporate it into their entire menu! Fresh local fish is always the best.

What a great meal! We arrived about 30 minutes after opening and they were already full. We were taken to a great waiting area right on the water and we were given menus and a drink list to check out while waiting for our table. The peanut butter blonde beer was delicious! We were seated after waiting about 20 minutes and since we already had the menus we knew exactly what we wanted to eat. Hubs had the black and blue burger and I had the drunken shrimp and clam chowder. The chowder was more of a broth than a cream and included bacon. It was very tasty! The drunken shrimp was delicious and had about 10 nice sized shrimp along with a great ciabatta bread. We live locally and will 100% visit again!

Awesome!! I've eaten here for years and it's always amazing! Drunken shrimp are always a favorite. We had spicy tuna nachos, the special wahoo grilled in a sandwich and blackened in a quesadilla. We also got a burger and a black and blue burger and everyone said they were delicious also. Highly recommend anything on tge menu here! It's always a must stop for our family.

Got the drunken shrimp and it was delicious, they have a nice little drinking area patio as a waiting area to be seated. Pretty busy on a Saturday but they were able to get me seated in a reasonable time without reservation. Super cool location.

Great food. Drunken Shrimp is a must have. We also loved the fish of the day. Light and flaky. We enjoyed watching the birds. Little Toot recommended this restaurant to us.

Fun location and great Florida floats menu. We had the fish dip which was very good. The fish of the day was Wahoo and both of our fish was dry and overcooked. I had the Ruben which was better due to the sauce but the fish plate was tough to eat. The service was ok and the prices were reasonable. I really wanted this place to be a 5 but the food did not deliver.

First time in Clearwater Beach and this was the first place my buddy and I tried. Got drinks the first time around, walked the beach and decided to come back for dinner. I have to say, it was such a good choice. The fish tacos were absolutely delicious and the service was awesome. Next time I'm in Clearwater I'm definitely coming back here.

This restaurant is very small so seats are hard to get. I had been wanting to go here for a while, so my toddler and I waited the wait. Ended up quicker due to our party being TINY. LET ME TELL YOU! The fresh catch rueben was the best rueben I have ever had. It didn't sound good to me at all, but I gave it a try, and it was AMAZING. I'm going to have to say the best fish sandwich I've ever had as well. I eat A LOT of both sandwiches. The staff was nice, the place was clean and cute. I WILL be back for drunken shrimp!

Really cozy spot. First bartender not so welcoming. Second bartender much better. Menu is limited. Had some drinks, Tuna Nachos (very good), Burger (good) Fish platter (just OK). Fish was slightly overdone.

This restaurant is amazing you will enjoy the food. Seating is limited but the food is worth it, I gotten wohoo fish of the day, blackened. Price is great.

The drunken shrimp was fantastic. You could easily justify a visit here just for this one appetizer, but all of the other food we tried was good as well. We enjoyed a brown pelican as a companion on a post in the water just a few feet from us. Nice location. We'll come here again.

I wanted fresh fish and I got it. Wahoo, no that's not my reaction, that's the fish I had. It was great. Was in a party of 4. 3 of us got the Wahoo fish tacos. We also started with the drunken shrimp. Serving was small for 4. Better suited for 1 to 2 people. Enter through a gift shop, seating is all outdoors and the grill is right behind you. Good food, good service. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and return again!

Party of 4, family The best ocean view with cozy place where you can enjoy fresh food and a drink Ordered catch of the day, was a bit dry but it was the fish MUST try the shrimp and get extra bread for the sauce … Crab cake is phenomenal… I will go visit again If you lucky, you will get a visit by a bird as we were

Nice little "floating" restaurant/pub on the Marina in Clearwater. Only a limited number of tables so it can be difficult to get a seat but we were more than happy to take the option of sitting at the bar. Good selection of fish dishes along with the usual staples of burgers, chicken etc. Loads of choice when it comes to beer (on tap) from local breweries. Wahoo fish sandwich was perfect.

Rustic style eatery with good food, the drunken shrimp should be your go to dish, beautiful with warm bread. Don’t go if your wanting posh cocktails as they come in a can, go for good food and relaxed vibe on the water.

What a great find! This quaint little “shack” on the water was a real treat. They only have 12 tables which allows them to serve up some of the freshest fish I have had - the Wahoo was amazing! The fish tacos come with their homemade lime aioli and this amazing homemade hot sauce (I think they call it Island Sauce) - best fish tacos I have had! A nice local beer selection and a delicious homemade Key Lime Tart! Highly recommend! p.s. They don’t offer fried food…on purpose…their fish is so fresh it should be served grilled or blackened!!!
