Waste of time and money. We were charged 192 dollars when the doctor said it would be covered by my insurance. After having to repeat my symptoms 4 times the doctor said continue to monitor the symptoms and let us know if they get worse. Wasn’t helped at all during the visit here. Absolutely useless. Not coming back ============ Thanks for your response however it’s completely inaccurate. I am 100% sure this is correct AFC clinic given your name and address is listed in the receipt. Attached is a receipt showing your address and your 192$ charge you claim never happened. Take care.

I was looking for a free COVID testing site close to home and checked reviews, as I always do. All I can say is WOW! Whoever is answering the negative reviews should not have that responsibility. At least accept some responsibility when there is an issue. Apparently, there is a problem with the online appointment setter, so why not apologize and fix it, instead of telling someone they must have set the appointment with another urgent care? They have proof, yet you still call them liars? And to reply to an ex-employee post the way you did!?! To try to call her out like that? That is absolutely unacceptable! I have been going to AFC in multiple locations and have never had issues myself, but reading those review responses has changed my mind about using this 4th Street location. There are some great reviews, but the responses to the negative reviews are ridiculous, rude, and borderline abusive! Have more empathy and compassion in your responses and do better by your patients, please! And before you attempt to degrade me or ask what I know about replying to online comments... That is what I do daily for my employer, on multiple platforms, and responses like yours would get me demoted or fired.

If you value your time and sanity, please do not come here, especially for a drug test. I called ahead the day before and they said they do them 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday. I show up at opening and the receptionist says the person who does them won’t be there until 9-9:30. I come back at 9:40 am and the person still isn’t there. I ask them to give me a call and she says okay, and then never does. I come back again at 11:20 am and it is 12:08 pm and I still have yet to be seen. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The employees clearly cannot show up to work on time and this place is run by an incredibly incompetent manager. The only positive thing I can say is that the receptionist is nice.

They were so incredibly nice and I was seen fairly fast for a urgent care in the city!! It was clean and welcoming in the waiting room. They were trans inclusive as well which relieved a lot of my anxiety around being seen. Cant recommend them enough

Don't walk in the door 10 mins to closing they will not assit even with blood running down your hand in need of stitches due to a dog bite. In fact front desk staff is argumentative. Great medical help!

I wish I could give less than one star. I checked in with only 2 people in the waiting room I even confirmed with the receptionist that I was checked in she said yes. After sitting in the waiting room watching everyone leave including people who came after me I asked what was going on and she said we can’t seem to get you checked in. Long story short after waiting an hour and a half they tried to tell me my co pay was double what my insurance card and insurance company said it was. When I showed the receptionist the plan she still said it was double the price. I would never step foot in another afc it is an absolute scam and joke. Doctors are suppose to be helping people but this place is nothing but crooks. Stay away go to signature urgent care they actually care.

First visit.. EKG and chest exams... due to the lost of my life time lover.. I thought that I was having a mini heart attack. First visit was fine. My second visit.. I felt like they treated me like an animal. My visit to the same location was because I was afraid of my heart beat.... aka heartattack. I asked them to please re take my chest exams as well as EKG. However they handed me papers in comparison to the the visit I had earlier. The staffs stated that I needed to see ER ASAP and that they didn't understand my EKG. Overall. I had those papers forwarded to 3 professorial ER's doctors. They all agreeded that my EKG heart beat is healthy. Overall in The end... I will not go to that location ever again. I went there feeling ill. And i left there feeling worst about myself...

I have been very pleased with the services I received at AFC Urgent Care. Unable to see my primary care doctor this clinic was very thorough in treating my strep, bronchitis, and uti infections. They performed tests, asked about symptoms and prescribed meds. The staff is friendly, accommodating and thorough. Ms Ruiz is a skilled PA who is caring, conscientious and professional. All in all a great place!

I’ve always had good experiences here. I’ve been to this location probably 6-7 times over the last few years. The wait is not usually more than 10-15 minutes. The doctors and nurses have always been kind and helpful.

I was told it would be a two hour wait yesterday and it ended up being 4 hours before I left. I went in for a spider bite. The PA I saw yesterday was excellent once she finally came into the room. She put me on heavy duty antibiotics for the infection in my hand from the bite. I was up all night from the pain/infection. I called first thing this morning for a doctors note for work today since I didn’t get sleep and the meds haven’t kicked in yet. They refused to give me a note and said I’d have to be seen by the doctor there today to get one even though I was told yesterday I could get a note for up to three days. I said that’s unheard of and I’m not paying another expensive co pay and wasting hours to get a note when I was seen at this location YESTERDAY. This is awful service and I definitely will not be back.

If you’re looking for quality, efficient and quick service this is where you want to go! They truly care for the patients needs. Hilda was fantastic and thorough in her delivery of care! Would definitely recommend to anyone needing care.

Called to ask how much a tetanus shot walk in -no insurance would cost…. Was told 35 dollars on the phone and it all sounded good. My boyfriend shows up, was told it was one hundred AND 35 dollars…. So i dont know who is answering the phones (no I did not hear her wrong) but they probably shouldn’t just be throwing anyone on a phone regarding questions of HEALTH & pricing. While my boyfriend is in the waiting room he’s told it’s 135 PLUS 55 . Sooooo… moral of the story, the lie on the phone is what made me come to this facility and none of the info was true and it somehow just trickled it’s way up to 200 bucks thru out the situation for one little baby tenatus shot

Excellent service. Professionals are all efficient, compassionate and thorough. Problems are listened to carefully, findings, proceedures and solutions are explained clearly. One couldn't ask for better service. As a walk in without an appointment at the very start of the day expect a wait while most important issues are dealt with. After several visits over the recent years THIS is our family destination when worrisome health concerns arise.

My wife and I have been in here a handful of times and it's been a pretty good experience. Dr. Kwiat is amazing if you're able to see him. The administrative staff have gone above and beyond a couple times, like allowing us to wait at home and call us, since we live nearby. We had an issue with a misdiagnosis, which happens - it's just really important how a practitioner responds. Both Dr. Kwiat and the office manager insured we were taken care of, and that was very appreciated.

If you are wanting to go to an urgent care so you don’t have to deal with a long wait time, THIS IS NOT IT!! It was over an hour before we even got called back to triage. While my 11 year old son sat patiently, the nurse moved at the paise of a snail. The three other girls working there were busy playing on their phones instead trying to get the patients signed in/out. About 10 minutes of my son being in triage goes by, the two receptionist girls are on the phone. One is talking to a phone company about how she needs to unlock her iPhone so she can use it for a different carrier. The other is trying to book a venue for her wedding, asking if she rented the ballroom if it automatically came with a room. Oh yeah these girls were not shy about being completely unprofessional in a medical work environment! We finally get into a room another nurse comes in to swab my sons throat for strep she was sweet but just left the wrapper from the swab on the floor! The PA was supper nice and looked like she was the only one moving with a purpose in the building! But yeah never again, only reason they aren’t getting one star is because they were all nice!

Omg I would not send my dog to this place!😡 Sent my daughter there and saw Ms.Jenna, unfortunately my daughter left feeling worse then when she came. They also called her in a prescription to the pharmacy which was Prednisone and she specifically told her she was allergic to Prednisone. She looked at my daughter like she was an idiot through her whole appointment, how unprofessional! Don’t waste your money! They also never return your phone calls. Place is a joke! Actually it was at the AFC Urgent Care in Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg!!

Great experience at this urgent care. I went for a workers comp claim for an injury on the job and they were very helpful to ensure I would not pay out of pocket. The staff was helpful and addressed all my questions/concerns.

Extremely expensive for the level of care they provide. Recently raising the walk in price by 35% -50% is insane. Includes a urinalysis that I didn’t want. I’m pretty sure the price was 80 and is now is 135. So 4x the inflation rate. Real “family” feel.

This is the sorriest excuse for an “urgent care” I went in for a blood test on a monday because I fainted 3 times in public. The doctor tells me they’ll call me Wednesday and if I don’t receive a call to call in. Didn’t receive a call so I called every day to check on my results. Finally on Saturday I speak with a rep at 10am and she confirmed a doctor would call me at 4:15pm. Guess what? No answer. I call them at five and they deliberately are rejecting my call after I call twice. I know this because I called from a different number and they answered immediately. I got put on a 5 minute hold to have someone who sounded like they didn’t care and were half asleep me my levels were normal. I tried to ask questions and have a normal conversation and the employee was extremely short. I felt like they didn’t care and just wanted to get me off of the phone. If you can avoid going to this location, please do! And this is the correct location.

I took my mom the other day checked in online and the 2 ladies at the desk were very nice to me when we arrived, we got called back and the staff was very caring of my mother. The Dr was very nice and explained everything and the medication that she would be given. Great experience.

I was visiting family in St Pete. I live in So Cal. I had an infection and my son recommended AFC. The staff is so welcoming and really nice. I didn’t have to wait long. The PA was awesome. I was in and out quickly. I would highly recommend AFC.

I have been to AFC two times. Both experiences were positive, with a professional and efficient staff. I was seen promptly and all the staff I interacted with were kind, knowledgeable and effective, good listeners. This is definitely my go to urgent care facility

Everyone including the receptionist, intake personnel, and care provider were all very professional, polite, and accommodating. Jenn the PA was very knowledgeable and exceptional regarding diagnosis, anesthesia, sutures, and home care instructions. Based on this experience, I would certainly return for medical care if the need arises.

When I went to AFC Urgent Care they were very friendly signing me in and I did not have to wait long at all to be seen by a doctor. They were very thorough and determined I had pneumonia. They gave me some antibiotics & told me if I didn’t feel better in couple of days to go to hospital, which I did. And now I’m doing much better. Thank goodness AFC Urgent Care found the pneumonia! Thank you AFC Urgent Care 🤩

I went to AFC Urgent Care on 590 and McMullen- Booth Rd in Clearwater. All of the staff were efficient, friendly, courteous, and kind. I was/am surprised how everyone was so nice - and good at their jobs. A rare combination these days. I rarely write reviews. But I wanted to give that group a shout out. And I am negative for Covid so that made the whole experience perfect.

Went in to clinic for a back injury and staff was friendly, helpful especially Hilda. She took my xrays and was very friendly, courteous and professional throughout the whole visit. Facility is very clean. Would come back again. Thank you Hilda!
