This place!!! Oh you have to go here. Super fun and completely decked out. I didn’t want to leave! I got some amazing earrings and some really cute sunglasses. Ooh! And you can even paint a sand dollar. Yeah you need to go here!

This place is amazing. It is not your average tourist gift shop. It's a carnival for the senses and a great place to discover toys and items that are more higher-end heirloom quality. Also a great place to sit and paint with your family. If you want a post card or knick knack there's plenty of that on Island. If you want an experience and want something a little more special to bring back home stop in here. The owners are sweet and laid back.

My family and I have been coming to Anna Maria for years before my daughter was even born and we have never had a incident quit like this in the 10+ years we have been coming here. My daughter and her friend decided to go window shopping today, as teenage girls love to shop. My daughter was browsing around and picked up a speaker. As she browsed around the shop she misplaced it while looking at the clothes section showing her best friend pants. While my daughter was putting the pants away she was approached by a worker or the owner who asked where she had placed the item, as a teenage girl checking out clothes jewelry and bags it slipped her mind. The worker then began to dig at my daughter where this speaker went. Her friend browsing jewelry at the time began to pick up on what was happening after the women asked to go through my daughters bag! My daughter being stressed allowed this stranger to go through her bag where they found nothing! The woman after about 10 minutes of pestering my daughter and stressing her out finally apologized. As soon as I heard this story my first instinct was to try and protect my child but teenage girls will be teenage girls. I sat both girls down to try and get the full story as well as going through both girls bags and rooms throughly to make sure I got the truth. I'm very upset by the fact my daughter was blatantly accused of shop lifting and further more was asked to search her bag. If you have young girls make sure they don't go into this store unless you want your child's bag searched. This was a complete violation of a young girls privacy.

Seriously one of the most beautiful little shops I’ve ever been in. Was blown away by the decor and colors alone. They have a wide variety of things for all ages. A true little gem on the island.

Can't say enough about Dan! He's a good enough reason to visit, but painting our own sand dollars is an amazing experience too! They have lots of knick knacks, gift options, some snacks, and great stories!

Sand dollar painting was a lot of fun. Well worth the price to relax and do something that is specific to single location. Owners were very friendly and kind.

During my recent visit to Anna Maria, visiting the Shiny Fish Emporium was at the top of my list. I had heard so many stories about what a fun shop it is! The rumors were true! This happy, whimsical store is filled with so many special items and beautiful must-haves. Plus, you can paint your own starfish! What a fun vacation memory! I found myself taking several laps around the shop, each time finding something new to admire. The store is beautiful and merchandise is displayed in such a way that you can't help but want to see more. The store also smells good and I late found out that they will be releasing a custom candle that captures the fragrance of the shop. The jewelry displays are stunning and filled with such a variety of treasures (for both adults and children). As a tourist, I loved the Florida-themed items (dishes, tea towels, shirts, and more). Sparkly Christmas ornaments hung from little branches near the doorway. Whimsical stationary, silly notecards, bath bombs, tropical scented body products, purses, and so much more filled the shelves. There's an entire section of the store dedicated to beautiful clothing (for adults, children, and infants). It was so much fun to sift through everything. There were so many brihgt and soft fabrics. Women were lined up trying things on in the fitting room. The cashier at the front was so sweet and patient, willing to answer questions and share more about the products in the store. There was a large table dedicated to high-end children's toys (brands like Tender Leaf, Maileg, etc.). I also noticed that mochi ice cream was available (but I didn't try it - next time!). I also did not have a chance to paint a sand dollar, though I really wanted to! I will definitely be back the next time I visit AMI.

A great experience for the kids, they loved painting their sand dollars! Definitely a keepsake they’ll have forever. My daughter even dropped hers walking out and it did not break!

I showed up yesterday at 4p and was just so excited to stumble upon this modern bohemian shop! Then I heard from the sweet man behind the counter that they usually close at 4p but not to worry he would keep the shop open longer for us. I later found out it was the owner's son. He was so nice and gracious! I was excited to learn they have a sand dollar art class there and can't wait to take my 7 year old at some point. We later went to another shop and quickly told "we close in 15 mins" It was a cold and short delivery- needless to say I didn't stay long bc why would I want to buy anything here anyways.

MOST Friendly Peeps I encountered on the Island......genuinely kind! Beautiful Store with a unique selection of colorful everything you feel YOU must have!!! I cannot wait to go back Thanksgiving!!!
