Enjoyed outside seating by fire pit at restaurant. Greek salad & garlic rolls were delicious; lasagna was good. Great live entertainment. Server was friendly & attentive. Garlic rolls were immediately served but bread plate, napkin & silverware were not provided by host who seated me; mentioned to server but did not receive until after salad arrived.

Chefs and Cooking staff seem to be keeping up with the flow of orders. That is the extent of the positive things we can say here to this point. My wife and I have been waiting at the front for 20 minutes and have not been seated. The staff keeps coming by saying they will "be with you in a moment". There are 5 dressed tables, that are empty, waiting for people to be seated and two empty tables not dressed. There are now 5 different groups in line to be seated. Not a host/hostess in sight. Plenty of wait staff running around like crazy. There are only six parties seated at tables, this place is NOT busy. We've just been seated, the garlic knots and marinara brought to the table were good and the menu looks rounded for an Italian Restaurant. Food came out 15 min after being seated. Looks and tastes great. Standing by the 3 stars, the food carried this place. The wait staff are attentive after you're seated.

I've ordered the regular Doro's salad before and it is usually prepared well. The first picture compared to the second picture looks like they just dumped in a side salad and added a few items and charged me full price. The container also felt very light compared to how it usually feels.

Cute little place. Excellent marinara sauce. Food was great. Good service. Price a bit much for our normal ranges, but we knew it was going to probably be a bit higher going in so no complaints. There was my hubby and I and our 5 year old.

My husband and I were trying to find a new local restaurant to try. We went last night to Doro’s and I think he was really good at his pick. Quiet and family friendly environment made me feel comfortable. The garlic knots with marinara they brought to the table were super good and our food too. Price is as expected/maybe little higher for a normal restaurant but the taste of a well made and well served meal made it worthy!

Absolutely fantastic, not sure what was better the food or the service. That’s so hard to come by nowadays. If you’re looking for great Italian & good wine look no farther!

Cozy little place with pleasing service and food. The sauces tasted homemade. Not bitter and over done. Not the absolute best I've had however I feel they are trying to become best Italian food in town! Homemade mozzarella wedges, sauces and rolls. Everything was scrumptious, our server Alexa was prompt and pleasant. Planning my next visit on the way out the door!

The food is great BUT… The last few times I’ve been here, there are servers at the bar with laptops taking up customer space. They use chemicals to spray down silverware at the bar right next to customers eating (HORRIBLE). Today was the final strike for me, the rude bartender handed me my food and dine instared me w/o saying a word. When I grabbed the grated cheese jar in front of me, I immediately noticed a bug in the jar: I told the bartender and he took the jar from me an inspected it as if I was lying. Once he saw the bug he put the jar on the table behind him, instead of throwing it away. He then grabbed another jar and handed it to me saying ‘this one is bug free’ with a laugh that didn’t sit right with me. I’m so disappointed in Doro’s for this because I love the food here and the managers that are always here when I’m here where not working today, or else I promise it would have been handled differently. Now I hope to find another Italian restaurant that I like close to home. Also, servers/bartenders walking around eating in front of customers is not a good look.

Doros continues to be the best Italian food in the area. We’ve tried all the others and they don’t even come close. Food is fire. Service is great. Don’t even waste your time anywhere else, just go to Doros. You won’t be disappointed!

This place is so cute and the food is incredible! I love the garlic knots they bring out at the beginning of the meal. We've had almost everything on the menu and everything is spectacular!

This was my family & I’s first time, and amongst the efficient serving and kind staff, the food was phenomenal. It is already hard to find quality Italian in the Marietta area, but the menu here is plentiful and perfectly seasoned.

Everything was yummy and our server Taylor was fantastic. Their garlic knots are soft and tasty. Their mozzarella wedges and calamari were really good. Not super breaded and seemed freshly made. Manicotti was yummy. Stromboli was huge and delicious. Chicken parm was also good! We got one of each of the desserts 🧁 to take home and I’m sure it’ll be great. Thanks so much for a positive experience.

We ordered the chicken Alfredo pizza. My only suggestion would be to put more chicken on the pizza. Other than that it was wonderful. Absolutely loved the rolls and marinara sauce. The restaurant was clean and servers were friendly.

Went to Doro's for my husband's birthday today. Taylor was our waitress.... very good waitress, too. We got chicken parmesan and penne chicken in Rose sauce. YUM! Taylor brought out cannolis for dessert.

We came here with 5 people on a nice Friday evening at about 6:30pm. Parking was limited. We didn't have reservations. We had no wait and were asked if we wanted to be seated outside, we said yes. They have a neat gas fire pit and 8 tables around a large deck. The server kindly wiped our table of pollen. The menu has a good selection of standard Italian food. Pizzas, pasta dishes, seafood, and a good selection of salads. The drinks came quickly along with a large basket of garlic buttered bread knots and marinara sauce - yum! We ordered baked ziti, chicken piccata, a pesto cream pasta, and spaghetti and meatballs. There was a lot of food with each entre'. The food was okay. My ziti was a 3/5, with a LOT of cheese and maybe too much fennel in the sausage. Everyone left food behind as it was a lot of food. Dinner was relaxing outside. Beware of eating the scrumptious rolls early on as you'll fill up quick. The server was very attentive to drinks or anything we needed. We ordered the canoli and tiramisu for take home. They were just okay (but it's unfair to judge 2 hours later.) We paid $138 for 5 people for decent food and atmosphere, with a few bar drinks and dessert, and no reservations needed on a Friday. That's a good value, specifically as an Italian option in this part of Kennesaw. The service was great as well. This is rated as a 4 as it was 3 of 5 for the Italian food in a nice atmosphere, with great service.

It was pretty good. Service was good and people were nice. Restaurant was clean. I got a lemon chicken dish (can't remember name) and it was too lemony for me. I traded with my husband who had a baked pasta dish that was very good. The garlic knots were not very flavorful. No one liked them that much. I would say it's definitely worth a try if you like italian.

Food was amazing, service was great after seating. Took a bit to get seated but I will say it was worth the wait.

Staff was very kind and attentive. Atmosphere is nice & was pleasantly surprised by the free(unlimited?) garlic knots, those were probably the best thing we ate. My dish was supposed to be spicy with Calabrian peppers, but was quite mild, just wasn’t getting the flavor I’d expect at an Italian restaurant. I will say they are quite generous with the portions. The pizza did look really good, so maybe try that :)

The service was good. I didn't care for the calamari and i sent it back. They were apologizing like they did something wrong. They made sure i was happy with the rest of my dinner. I give them a thumbs up!

The atmosphere in the restaurant was excellent. Feel as though the service could have been a bit better. Three of the 6 guests ran out of drinks even though the restaurant was not that busy during our visit. We ordered the spinach dip appetizer, which was good, and had plenty of dip but only 7 small pieces of toast. Asked for additional toast so we could finish the dip, and we were charged for those. The food that we ordered was good, the Fransesce Chicken was very lemony, but it was good. All in all, it was good, but for the service and the food flavors, it felt as though it was slightly overpriced. This was only the first time there. Will likely try it again to be fair.

My daughter and I went for dinner. I read the reviews previously and there were quite a few mediocre ones. I thought we would try anyway. I had made a reservation but unfortunately when we got there, they couldn’t find it even though I showed them the reservation on my phone. They did get us a seat pretty quickly as the restaurant and have too many people in it. I didn’t feel the ambience was very Italian. It was a little bit stark and the seating arrangement was, in my opinion, not used to the best of their ability for maximum tables. However, that’s their choice. We ordered the Barata and prosciutto, which was a nice size portion and absolutely delicious. The server then brought bread with marinara sauce, again very good. We ordered the seafood cannelloni , and it was good, not fantastic but solid. Overall, I felt like we would probably return to the restaurant to try again. I love that they have outdoor seating and would like to do that as well. The server was good albeit a little slow.

My mom wanted to go out to eat for dinner and wanted Chicken Marsala. So I googled a few restaurants since her old favorite of Olive Garden doesn’t sell it any more. I found Doro’s on Google and we decided to give it a chance. We walked in and asked for a table for 4 and we were asked about a reservation. I did not have one since I attempted to make a reservation online and it gave me the notice that if we didn’t show up it would charge my card $15. So we went without a reservation. The hostess offered us a seat out on the patio due to all of the seats on the inside were full and for reservations. We went and sat at a table outside. It was a bit hot but the did have a fan. The atmosphere outside was very nice with lights and a fire pit. If it was night time it would have been very nice. We were treated by our waitress and ordered our drinks. After looking for food options we ordered quest and chips for my daughter and then ordered our food. Bread was brought to our table that was very good. It was soft and warm, garlicky and delicious. The quest was very everyday but who orders quest at an Italian restaurant lol. Our dinner options included Chicken Marsala of course , Caprese Salad a JR’s pizza with pepperoni, jalapeño’s and pineapple and shrimp Alfredo. It was all very very good. Freshly made and worth the heat. It was a very nice dinner and I will go back and try more things for sure.

Doros is a great italian restaurant in Acworth. Doros offers a variety of entrees at reasonable prices. Quality of food, service, and atmosphere is usually top notch with no issues. However, evening of 11/10 was an anomaly. Our entrees were underwhelming as the Marsala sauce was too flourly, angel hair and meat were drowning in sauce, my veal piccatta was not delivered with other entrees. When my veal was finally made, the veal was still raw, pinkish, and undercooked. My entree was returned. Our waitress was professional, polite and handled this mishap, accordingly. Just want to bring to this Doro's Management attention to address with the cooks of 11/10/2023 that this quality should not be acceptable and handle promptly before other customers experience. We will be back, as I mentioned this was an anomaly occurrence.

The great Italian food and immersive atmosphere. The service is stunning. I’m really enjoying it.
