I'm so sad. New management has removed most of their best items from the menu and has reduced the menu to your standard American Chinese menu. Most of the Thai dishes are gone, and the restaurant is no longer "Chinese and Thai" worthy. Of the few items they have kept, the recipes have changed dramatically. Portions have been reduced, prices increased... meats are outweighed by extra vegetables, and sauces that used to be rich and thick are now watery. Not trying to be dramatic, but I'm heartbroken after visiting this restaurant often since 1994. You cannot call this the same restaurant anymore. Im afraid this will be my last visit to what once was an iconic Newnan restaurant.

Dynasty is honestly the best Chinese/Thai food I’ve ever had. It has changed since the first time I ate here which was about 5 months ago, but it’s for the better. I love the chicken egg rolls and lo mein noodles. It always taste fresh and is hot even when i get home. It can be pricey if you are like me and get eggs rolls and rice along with your entree because most entrees don’t include either, so it’s extra costs. But with that being said, I get 2 or 3 meals out of it because the portions sizes are so big so it’s not a bad deal. They are always super nice and my food is always ready on time when I pick up. Definitely recommend!!

Hello! My family and I have been faithful customers of Dynasty restaurant since they opened in the late 1980’s and have enjoyed takeout and dine in with their wonderful customer service! In the last 2 months our experience at dynasty has not been the same. The food is clearly not the same….. I’ve ordered my same dish in the last couple of months and told the staff that it doesn’t taste the same and I was offered 50% off my next purchase which was very nice but if the food is different then that means I have to fine another places to eat…. Which is soo not cool when things were soo good!!!! But thanks to the original owners who did a superb job!!!

I come here often, but recently, the quality has really gone up. When I ordered take out yesterday, I noticed that the menu has way more selections, and the chicken is really tasty. The seafood here is amazing as well, it is all very fresh and delicious. Although the restaurant is closed for renovation, I look forward to the reopening soon!

I loved this place so much, and still do. One star because they're still on lockdown, and doing take-out/delivery orders only. My husband and I went a few years ago for a special date, and I was SO excited to go back with him only to be disappointed that they were still doing take-out orders. I did check Google, and it showed a "check" next to dine-in. As always, you can't trust Google!!! I will edit my review if they return to a dine-in restaurant, and we're able to enjoy a meal!

I've been a long time customer here at Dynasty, since my family first moved here a few years back, the food has also been consistent, even though there just been change of ownership, I think it's not all that bad if you give it a try, anyway i like what they have done. Also I heard the dining room will open in february, so excited!

I understand people may have doubts about this place under new ownership but YOU have to give it a try! We’ve been regulars for years but the change in the menu was delicious! Service was superior, definitely had a great experience.

Came in on a thursday evening, around 6:10pm. Had no problem getting a table. our order came out quickly. Everything we got was so delicious! We ordered the Crispy Calamari and General Tso’s Chicken and Pad Tai and Hot Tea. The service was amazing and polite. We were both very pleased! Will definitely be back.

This is not the same Dynasty from the past. We use to go here all the time and the owners were so nice. This restaurant has gone way down hill. We ordered fried rice and chicken wings for lunch yesterday. I was so surprised it was unetable the chicken wings we took two bites and threw it out( it did make us sick) and rice was so dry. I was disappointed we wasted our money on this sorry lunch. With so many other choices go somewhere else. I guess all good things have to come to an end.

It definitely has went down. It is not the same the food don't taste the same. And the chicken wings be so dry as if they are pre-cooked and warmed up I always tell them to cook my food fresh and they think I can't tell the difference that it's been refried and warmed up. I wish they get their act together because it used to be the best Chinese place you could eat but he has definitely change in the food do not taste the same and the sauces that they use over chicken it's just too sweet with no flavor just sugar. Sometimes we do get food and it is just not edible we have to throw it out but when you call them and complain they are sure you that their food is the best but it is not anymore.

Dynasty has been my must Go-To for YEARS while in town from FL. I have been waiting for dine in to start back since being closed or take out only due to covid. Friday was my Birthday and I was super excited to finally go while in town. The food was good but not like it was! The inside was no longer special.... Just standard. Bring back the Chinese animal zodiac place mats and the family style plating. I will eat there again, but probably just stick to take out as the dine in option is no longer a special Chinese restaurant experience. Our waiter was great and the food was good and worth what we paid! I just miss the Dynasty special restaurant vibe it once had.

We go here often it's very good and a good value they have a special if you have two people or more you can get a three-course meal for $15 a person just wanted to add an update. They are back open for dining and I'm very excited! They don't have the three course $15 no more but they do have a lunch version of it for $11.95. definitely a good deal. Glad they're back open

I usually don’t post restaurant reviews, but something was different this time around that made me want to give a brief review. The crab ragoons were pretty good and the Triple Crown wasn’t too bad either. However, and I mean HOWEVER, the General Tsao's Chicken was absolutely disgusting! I warn anyone reading this to not waste your money on that menu item. This chicken tasted like an over-breaded chicken nugget ball with red sugar sauce from a school cafeteria that was put into a dirty microwave, in addition to the chicken inside of the ball tasting like it was a few days old (NO EXAGGERATION)! This was the most off putting taste! I’m not a person who likes to waste food, I will eat it even if I’m not a fan of it, but as for this…it was thrown in the trash!!! Ultimately, this one experience with this restaurant was my first and will be my last solely on how repulsive that chicken tasted! Yes… it was that bad! It makes you want to call your bank to dispute the charge kind of bad!

Now open for inside dining. Food and service excellent. This is the place for the best Chinese cuisine!

My car broke down outside of this restaurant late the other night , since I had my small children with me , I was more so concerned with getting them home safely & had to abandon my car there . Which was left for 2 nights . The restaurant was more than nice to allow me to leave it . So thankful it wasn’t towed . ALSO, I have Ordered take out a few times before & it was great . People where nice here . & nice to others who I know have gone to eat here . But again, thank you so much for letting me use your parking lot 😂

It might not look like much on the outside, but I was hit with a sense of nostalgia entering in. I love the food, and you don't find a lot of good Asian restaurants here. I'm coming back again!

I use to really like this place. It has really gone down hill. They are still in some type of weird lockdown and only work though a plexiglass hole for takeout. The soup I got was dead cold. The plastic utensils only lame with a fork for soup. The chicken in the orange chicken was hard and chewy with lots of breading and no real chicken. Very very disappointing.

Beyond impressed!!! I recently moved to the area and l love the quality and taste of the food. The pork fried rice has chunks of egg, pork, scallions and really fried to perfection. The egg foo young was great along with their soups. This is a gem and so excited to be just minutes away.

The salt and pepper calamari is amazing!! Actually, everything we've tried here is wonderful! Been going here off and on since 2012, and we are never disappointed!

The portions we're generous and the servers were attentive. However, the food was bland. The General Tso's chicken was flavorless and fatty. The Orange chicken was the same.

This is the best Chinese food I have had in over 20 years. The employees are so very nice and the service is great. I use their delivery service and the food is delivered hot. It is great.

We frequently stop by Dynasty for dinner and love that they are still take-out only. They take great precautions and it makes us feel so much safer eating their food. The food is always delicious! Love the tofu dishes.

I liked the food but it was not as I remembered. The crab rangoon recipe has changed, as well as the General Tsao chicken recipe. Maybe my rating is because of the flavors that I remember from before and during Covid. The carpet had been replaced with vinyl, which looked good. Although nice to see the new floor, there was standing water and debris on the floor.

This was my first time eating here. Food was very good, very fresh! I had the Mongolian dinner with shrimp. We ate early, at around 4 pm so service was super quick. The restaurant was very clean and the servers are really friendly! I will definitely be back to try something else. The outside of the building doesn't match the inside, so don't let it deceive you - definitely has a different vibe on the inside!

The food and the service was great. It doesn't put off a cozy setting but it's ok. The portion sizes are really enough to share. There is a very large selection on the menu with varying price ranges, which is nice. The appetizers were delicious and all was served in a very timely manner.

This is a great mom-and-pop operation. I Googled Chinese restaurant near me. This came up with over 600 recommendations and was almost a 5 ⭐. I went near 4:30 got the dinner portions with my family and my god there was so much food we had leftovers for another dinner....,! The wait staff was super friendly with a really clean restaurant. 10/10 ..... They also had a deal where we looked it up on Google that they gave a free sampler of crab rangoons!!!!!

Great service but the Sesame Chicken was some of the worst I've ever had. Very poor quality chicken and overcooked. I couldn't even finish it. The worst part was the quality of meat.

I simply enjoyed their food. I always get fantastic service there. The place is clean and the workers are always nice. Will visit here again.

They use walkie talkies to communicate through the contraption they made for carry out. It is a little difficult to hear but I understand why they are doing it. It limits exposure to the employees and people picking up food. The food was good. I ordered the general chicken. Pretty good portions. The sauce was more sweet than spicy.

This is the BEST AUTHENTIC Chinese food in Newnan. It's the only place we go!

Good service. Reminds me of the old Chinese restaurants growing up. Orange slices and hot towels. Ordered the Mongolian chicken which was awesome with plenty of onions.

Dynasty Chinese restaurant is always excellent. The menu is large. Offering Mandarin, Cantonese, Szechwan and Hunan choices as well as some Thai foods, you're sure to find something you'll enjoy. The portions are large so expect leftovers. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy and the servers are attentive. Lunch is served 11am-4pm Tues-Fri and 12 noon-4pm Sat & Sun (closed on Monday). They also deliver within a certain radius of the restaurant.

Me and my fiance LOVE this restaurant and have ALWAYS had a good experience before. But this new waitress, got attitude when we told her POLITELY the mussles were over cooked, brought the same mussles back out, reached over our food to the far end of the table while touching her underarms to my drink rim, and then acted like nothing was wrong when we said something.

Its the best Chinese food around. Our waiter, Steve, gave us the best service my wife and i have had anywhere! He made it a really enjoyable experience. We will always go back and hopefully have, Steve for our waiter.
