Companion temple to kailasanadhar temple that is also managed by ASI. Much smaller in scale when compared to kailasanadhar temple but great architecture work of Pallavas reflected here. Also very noticeable is Buddhist influence in some of the reliefs

Parameswara Vinnagaram /Vaikunta Perumal Temple ⚜️Vaikuntha Perumal temple was  built during Pallava king Nandivarman II (731 CE–796 CE),The great Vaishnava saint Thirumangai Alvar was his contemporary. During Nandivarman II’s time, the temple was called Parmeshwara Vishnugriham, after the original name of the king Parmeshwara ⚜️The sanctum is with mummaada Vimana ( Ashtanga Vimana),  has three levels in which bottom level is for Sri Vaikunda Perumal in sitting Posture. While the upper hands holds conch and Chakra / discus and lower hands are in abhaya and Varada hastham. In the second level, Perumal is in reclining posture and in the top level, Perumal is in standing posture. ⚜️The sanctum and ardha mandapa outer walls has the sculptures of various incarnations of Sriman Narayana. Every corner is supported by the lion pillars

Beautiful temple of Lord Vishnu on seated pose. Top two floors are open only on Ekadesi. Sand stone sculptures on the walls and architectural marvels are a must see before they erode completely. To enjoy the beauty of the temple allocate at least an hour or more not including worshipping the main deity.

Very clean temple, statutes are very ancient. Total 3 perumal (moolavar) are in this temple, which is situated in respective floors. In ground floor, people allowed everyday for worship. In 1st floor, people only allowed during Vaikunta egathasi. 2nd floor no one allowed.

One of Lord Vishnu Temple in Kanchipuram, and one of the older temples. Temple upkeep is quite well now, but a lot of art and engravings are already destroyed. Temple compound is quite big, and this Temple is a bit outside the main market of Temple city, and there is not so much rush here.

This temple has gave my mind a celestial abode feel, the architecture of this temple has made me to Re think that modern engineering is best but not, it is a fine divya desam, statues were been torned and smashed by some green mughal thugs near by and shouting 5 times a day, anyhow the priest is good and kind and perumal is very good to see

Awesome temple. You will definitely feel the difference after visiting 10plus temples in Kanchipuram. Excellent architecture and sculptured walls. Green lawn in front and ample space to sit and relax after the divine visit.

A very beautiful divya desam temple of Vishnu. The temple has immaculately maintained garden all around. The temple compund is large and is under ASI control. Inside the temple in the prakaram there are richly carved continuous stone relief panels. In the night good lighting by powerful flashlights is done by ASI. Second oldest temple in Kanchi after Kailasnatharr temple, built by Pallav King Narsimhavarman II.

You don't get this while you search important temples in Kanchipuram. But a lovely temple. Architecture marvel. Lovely sculptures equivalent to Kailasanathar Temple

This is one of a Divya Desam in Kanchipuram. 14 Divya Desam are there in Kanchipuram. This temple is under ASI. Very very old ancient big temple. I visited on Vaikuntha Ekadashi day. There's very huge rush. By luck I also got Dharshan. Festival days and important days more rush will be there. On Ekadashi (every month) days they allow to go up and get Palli konda Perumal dharshan. Other days Moolavar dharshan only. Must visit temple.

Ancient vishnu temple located in Kanchipuram. Built by Pallavas. The stone art works are amazing. Temple has Lord Vishnu murti in sitting, reclining and standing postures. There are sculptures in the temple which are ancient. Temple well is nearby. There is no ticket or queue. Temple opens by 7.30 only. The place is extremely divine and blessing.

Old temple with Lord Vishnu in sitting, reclining and standing postures in this 3-storeys. First level is open everyday. Second level is open only on ekadashi day morning times. There is no path to reach 3rd level. Seeing from outside the main temple does not look like that it is a 3-storeyed temple. There are sculptures in the temple which are ancient but they are spoiled so much that we cannot clearly identify them.
