This winery is in an amazing location. The staff are so friendly and very welcoming. Tried many wines here and chose our special one.

Perfect choice of winery to enjoy a shared grazing platter with paired wines. The platter was extremely generous, beautifully presented & tasty. An extra bonus being pet friendly, service was excellent & Lizzie our waitress was friendly & fun! Highly recommended! A must do!

Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Ballandean. Fantastic wines with the Saperavi and GFM being particular standouts that I'd highly recommend. The food was also spectacular. Special thanks to Angelo for taking the time to sit down with us and tell us the wonderful history.. Was a real pleasure. And thanks to Graeme for looking after us. Highly recommend a visit here and I will certainly be back.

Such a nice experience. Recommend the barrel room wine lounge if you visit. The platters are large and showcase the delicious local produce. Truffle mustard was a winner!! The wine tasting is relaxed but the staff are knowledgeable and happy to spend as much time chatting and answering your questions as you like. We had the joy of being hosted by a really nice guy with loads of hospitality experience and really helped us narrow down what we were after in a wine. Apologies we never got your name but you made it an enjoyable afternoon. Thanks!

Totally awesome. Really nice hosts. Very friendly service. Great share platter ($45) with four wines to taste. Platter was really awesome and was the right amount after our push bike ride out there. The tiny hill up to the winery might not be that steep but at midday it was a hot killer.

We come here every time we visit the region but this was our first time in the Barrel Room. Well for anyone thinking about it... just do it! Greame was our host and he was simply perfect. Attentive, friendly and so knowledgeable. The platters were delicious and the wines equally lovely. I also highly recommend the Tim Tam Slam! Thanks for another great experience team. Lucked out, race day in town so very quiet here. That said, the share plate with condiments was spectacular and the wine tasting was fabulous. Wonderful service. Wonderful food. Left carrying armfuls of bottles and jars with us. Must come back again.
